Older couple living on site, waited around while they did personal phone calls/fed dog, used computer while waiting to drop off rental. Was only asked if I filled up the gas tank by the lady. Finally walked out and completed return process on my phone before the guy walked outside for the return. WILL AVOID UHAUL and this location at all costs now

We were originally suppose to drop off on First St. in Turlock but that location was closed on Sunday. We contacted the Double D Storage and they were happy to help us with the return. They were very friendly and polite.

Be careful to check the mileage written down by the owner. 200 extra miles were. accidentally written down by the owner when we rented the,truck and we were charged almost $90 for extra miles. We did not double check the mileage. The windshield was dirty inside and out and the windshield wipers did not work well and need to be replaced. Will rent next time from Penske as their trucks are better quality, better maintained and they have unlimited mileage.

Collision damage waiver was declined when reserving the vehicle, Double D insisted I pay for it and if I had a problem with it, to call the 800 number. I used this truck for 30-minutes (3-miles) and did not feel it was necessary to carry the CDW. Poor customer service for sure, no interest in trying to help.

Five emails requesting I stroke your ego and tell you how good a job you did was excessive. Now you know why I use a crap email for shit like this. No one can be trusted with my actual email. You get an email address, then abuse it. You wouldn't like getting 5 emails like this, but you have no problem sending it.

When I arrived with my online reservation I could not complete. It said it could not find my location. Interesting because it could I’d my reservation but it wouldn’t give me the code to open the key box. If the manager had not just happened by I would have lost the appointment that I rented the truck for. The windshield was very dirty but the rest of the truck was fine.

I dropped off after they closed. I did not see any signs, as to where to park the U-haul van, as there were cars parked in the parking spaces. A fellow from this location called me and said that I parked in the wrong location in front of the gate. It was the safest place to park the van at the time.

The staff in person didn’t seem very friendly but on the phone was very nice and accommodating. The equipment was fine though I wouldn’t do mobile check in again because it was a pain and not very convenient (but I don’t think that’s the location’s fault).

Provide more to customers in the way of refreshment from the sun (in the way of water,juices, or electrolyte drinks for the customers and workers [it is hot]. I looked around ,noticed a water machine but no cups to drink from for it and was wondering where the cups were. Were they behind the counter where the customer has to wait if unit is being shown or worker is doing something like doing routine rounds of the premises

No dollies received, even though two requested and paid for. When I went to wait in line to try fix it, there was one very small office with a line already formed. At the front of the line, Joyce was not able to modify my reservation so I was charged for the two dollies that I did not use.

I was an hour late dropping off the uhual and they charge me for another day. I would never recommend unless something is done to keepe as a customer. My trailer went down so I wanted to try you guys and we would have rented once or twice month but now probably not. I got home the night before from our festival around two am and then they called me and was really rude I understand business but like this.let me now what you can do for me please. Thanks Craig

Double D Storage was wonderful! However my contract was for Avery in Sonora, Ca. It takes 90 minutes, one way to drive to Turlock. Not real happy to spend 3 hrs picking up the truck at a time when I did not have 3 hrs to waste. I want to add that the young lady on you customer line was really great and a big help. She did everything she could to make a difficult situation better!

Not charge for 2 days if you are going over 50 miles. I had my move done in less than 8 hrs but they wouldnt provide me my money back for the day i didnt use the Uhaul.
