When I dropped off the van, at around 830, there was a black gentleman helping us park. (I didn't catch his name). After I had gotten home, he called me asking where the keys were. I told him I put them in the orange box in the front, to which he replied "are you sure you didn't park the van and drive off with the keys? I know you white boys do that, you fucking cowards." This is absolutely no way to talk to a customer.

The people running this location were apparently on vacation during the week I dropped off the truck. Apparently the call center was not aware of this because the person I spoke with at the call center sent me to this location. So I simply dropped the truck key in the box and left the truck there. That same person at the call center apparently did not note our conversation in my account because later that evening I called the call center again to make sure someone knew I dropped off the truck and the person I spoke with this time had no record of my previous call or that the drop off location had been changed. She also told me that she could not set the location where I left the truck as the drop off location. All she could do was enter some notes saying what happened. So I have spent several days now wondering if I was going to find extra charges on my credit card because U-Haul did not know when and where I dropped of the truck. I see on this review page that the drop off location address is the place I left it so hopefully that means things have been straightened out.

The staff at this Uhaul location was very helpful! They made the rental process quick and easy, and the van that I rented looked brand new. The return process was super smooth, as well!

The problem with the return is I was given one drop off point and when I got there they told me to go to another one across town. They were rude and disrespectful. I had to drive out of the way to get to the drop off location which put me over my miles. The woman at the drop off location was accommodating but I will never use Uhaul again. They said they sent a text and email with the correct drop off address and I told them they didn’t. When I got back in the truck (still not knowing where to drop it off) they came through. I even turned the truck in a day early. I will never use this company again.
