Rudest clerk I've ever met. He cancelled my reservation because I was 30 minutes late but I told him I was on the way and he could charge me over the phone. I mean, my credit card info was on file. Once I arrived, He Tried to refuse service and not tell me why he cWas refusing other than because “he could refuse service.” He then Called law enforcement, even though I never said I wouldn't leave. I just wanted to know why he was refusing me. He lectured me for 10 minutes and insisted I wasn't getting a truck, despite having a reservation. (I made another reservation after he cancelled my first one, despite there being numerous available trucks.) He ended up telling the police not to worry about it and rented me the truck. This man should not work with the public and is completely unreasonable and off his rocker. He's a horrible representation of the uhaul brand. I will never return to this location and will make sure to warn anyone who will listen to stay away from ez pawn and gun.

It took 2 days for my trailer to get checked in at drop-off location. I had to reach out to uhaul twice to have this resolved. The uhaul customer service reps were very helpful and tried reaching out to the dealer several times. Thankfully they got a hold of someone at the last possible second to make sure my rental was checked in before I got charged for extra days. Very very frustrating to have to worry about that while trying to settle in.

Go out of your way to avoid dealing with this vendor. Absolutely not worth any polite business. If interested in rude unfriendly business interactions. This place IS for you. Man behind the counter refused to move his personal vehicle so that I could get my truck/trailer to the storage lot in the rear of the building. Insisted I back out into traffic in order to go around the opposite side of the building and if I didn't like it I could turn my equipment in somewhere else. After I managed to accomplish this extremely dangerous demand he then refused to go outside to do the inspection with me. Demanded I return 6 hours later if I wanted to do an inspection with him because that's when he does them. Should have known what was happening when I walked in and greeted the man with a "Good morning!" And got no response.

I couldn't have had a better experience with you guys. I rented a 20ft truck from EZ-Pawn in Summerville Ga. The guy..I think his name was Blake was outstanding. Very knowledgeable, courteous, and very down to earth. I am very pleased with U-Haul and will definitely rent again

My Uhaul was not at the pick up location at the designated time, was dirty on the inside, and I was charged a cleaning fee because I didn't clean up the mess that was left before I got the vehicle.

Original location (not EZ Pawn) 22 miles away did not have rental on time nor at all. I drove back 18 miles to get rental by 24/7 pick up. Because of Uhaul's lack of communication (regarding change of location) I drove 36 miles unnecessarily and wasted 1 hour unnecessarily. Then to top it off I was charged for 7 miles over the original store's prediction mileage. Vehicle was really great; 24/7 worked out good. Read guaranteed pickup offer closely... I thought I had it which would have meant $50. off? But that hasn't happened yet? Hope UHaul honors their guarantee.

The owner of the business was not on time. When he did show up, he told me that he did not have time to deal with me. I did not get my reservation until 2 hours after scheduled time. Avoid this place like the plague.

U-Haul as a company sucks. I had to go to three locations in two days to get the trailer I reserved, 4 phone calls 25 minute wait on hold each time. and after jerking me around refused to give the discount they promised when I first reserved the trailer....go buget

This was the worst rental experience I have ever had. I was supposed to pick the trailer up in Rome, GA and called to verify that the unit was ready before I drove over there-got there and the unit was not there but 35 miles away in Summerville, GA. I had no choice but to make the drive and pick it up. Your scheduling dept. was useless and of no help at all. I was told that I would get a discount since I had to spend an extra hour and 35 miles to pick it up- got to the pick-up site and the guy there charged me the full rate. They all lied to me and I will never use your service again-but you still owe me a refund. When I arrived in Santa Rosa Beach, FL (the scheduled drop off site) I called the scheduling dept. to verify the drop off location and was told that the dropoff was to be in Freeport, FL instead of SRB. I called the SRB site and the man said to bring it on to his site and he would take it. He was the only cooperative person that I dealt with during the entire ordeal. You need to monitor your scheduling personnel since they continue to lie and lie and lie.

I was stunned, confused, and offended with the terrible customer service I received picking up the rental truck in Summerville, Ga. Argumentative and insulting comments were received from the "owner" of the Pawn Shop when I asked questions about the rental process. To make it worse, these comments were heard by my husband as well as three other customers in the store. If we weren't on such a tight time schedule to get my daughter moved, I would have left the store and gone elsewhere, but I did not have that luxury. I will never be back and will never recommend this store as a U-Haul rental agency. If possible, U-Haul should pull their connection with this location as it is giving U-Haul a bad name.

Your system notified me to pick up 4 different trailers in 4 different locations????? In alabama and i wanted the one in summerville georgia. Please fix it. It was very annoying

There was a problem with the ratchet for the tire strap and was told it was hooked up wrong. They were both hooked up the same and only the passenger side kept coming loose. They dismissed it as operator error. I believe there is a problem with it.

The owner made us take the truck to a car wash and clean the back out. Sweeping it was not good enough for him. He said " look at the dust " and told me I would not get my deposit back unless I washed it out. I took pictures of the truck after we swept it. And after we WASHED it out....it looks the same!! He would not take my truck back until 2:00PM even though his store opened at 10:00AM. So I waited all day to turn it in and he was just very rude. I will never use this location again. I will never refer my friends to this location. We may look like "simple rednecks" to the owner, but we deserved the respect we paid for!! RUDE RUDE RUDE!! He made me feel like you have to look a certain way in order to have great customer service.
