Reserving a vehicle was very easy to do online. The staff was very nice and helpful at the location to get me in and out quickly. I would definitely rent from this location again. I would refer to friends if they needed a uhaul. Everything was great!Ryan M.

The location is a gas station and does not carry the optional items such as dollies, moving blankets. etc. Online you are given the option of selecting these yet when you arrive they are not supplied.Masoud M.

I originally was picking up at a different location but when I checked in they did not have a refrigerator dolly that was ordered. I was told I would have to pick up 30 miles away which was unacceptable. the dolly I did finally received the strap was not long enough to go around the fridge. not acceptableKevin C.

I suggest that the "Fuel Tank" should always be on "Full", NOT just over the "RED Line", when a Customer collects the vehicle, he does want to start by put "Fuel" in the Tank, they may NOT know have much they require. I think this is "U-Haul" policy at their own Offices, Thank you, I hope this gets corrected, Mr StaceyEdwin S.
Especially in these challenging times with the virus, and all that entails, this was a super smooth and easy transaction. From the online rental, to the pickup and drop off, couldn't have been easier. The only challenge was with the online pickup, which ultimately did not work since cell reception wouldn't give an accurate geolocation for the app. Fix that, and you guys are golden!William M.
Be more accurate with your fuel readings and give at least a free mile. I drove 50' to exit the facility and before I hit the street I had already racked up a mile. Better inform customers how it works with using a smartphone. I didn't know there was a check in through the phone. I got into the vehicle and started to photo the milage and fuel amount when I decided to check something on my phone, at which point I noticed a checkin for the van. It showed the mileage on the vehicle and a 1/4 of a tank of fuel while the actual gauge showed just less then a 1/4 of a tank. I thought this was close enough and check OK. As with the milage when I left the facility and started traveling north I noticed that the gas gauge was now at halfway between a 1/8 and a 1/4 of a tank , exactly where it was when I returned the vehicle. So either the initial reading was inaccurate or the van gets terrible gas milage, dropping an 1/16th of a tank in less than a mile. Then charging 30 dollars to put fuel in it at $4.25 a gallon.Robert P.

They are not checking the vehicles when returns at all. I had to fix the fuel on the paper and show them the picture i got with my cell phone right a way. Worth than that when i opened the back to put my stuff it was full of garbage from the last person. When i return the car i showed the lady what was in the truck and she did not even bother to come and check odometer and vehicles even when i had the complain.Shahab S.

The van was not clean at all absolutely filthy. In addition it smelled horrible inside. When we told the representative at the location they said they knew already. This has been the worst experience with U-Haul that we have had. We typically rent anywhere from 2 to 3 times a month. I will never use this location again.Andrea O.

I think your charge of 89cents per mile is way too high given how spread out LA is. The Cost off operating that vehicle is NOT that high. In most cases just getting from the rental place to the pick up place is over 30 miles. Additionally there is no military appreciation discount? When most military members use your service for DITY (Do IT Yourself) moves? I feel like there should Be an inclusive 50 miles of you opt in for your insurance. Which is another grossly high charge. I paid more in insurance for one day that I do for a month myself. Your advertised cost of 19.99 is misleading. I will look for other options in the future.john D.
The van had a horrible smell that nothing could get rid of. I called multiple U Haul customer service number on Monday and not one could trade out the van for a new one. Your new procedure stinks. I spent forever uploading the driver's license and at the end got no detailed invoice. I was told it would be e-mailed but it wasn't so I have no detailed receipt - only an amount on my credit card site. This is nuts. I rented many times last year when I moved and it was fine. This new procedure is a mess. I may rent through a car rental for a pickup next time. You are acting like you don't trust your employees.Allen G.

STAY AWAY!! Turns out that these "satellite" locations have virtually no control over their inventory. AND, this place is not interested in taking care of you if they mess up. I had a reservation 2 weeks in advance for a van (and even stopped in to confirm 2 days before pickup), but when I arrived, there was NO VEHICLE, and the worker there shrugged and could only offer U-Haul's 800 phone number in response. I stood outside for AN HOUR AND A HALF talking with various U-Haul personnel, who, try as they may, could not locate an immediately available van for me. I would have been completely abandoned except, by luck, someone returned their van to this location early and I hopped in. Of course, it wasn't clean, but at that point, I didn't have a choice. I already missed my meeting time and had people depending on me. Unfortunately, THAT'S NOT THE END OF THE STORY. When I finally got the van, I asked for some kind of compensation, and the helper at Eastern Oil assured me that she entered in certain pricing codes that would give me some kind of discount. "Do I have to do anything?" I asked. No. I TRUSTED HER, foolishly, because when I returned the van, another woman was there with her and quite aggressively assured me that there was no code, no discount. The helper averted her eyes. So there I was, back on the phone with U-Haul, explaining the whole story. After 20 minutes, they made some assurances and we hung up. My payment was not to be closed out until this was resolved. However, 2 days later, I get the receipt in my email, that THE FULL AMOUNT was charged to me! And not even any discussion or notice, like they said they'd do! Unbelievable. I'm not a young man, and I must say that this was the worst customer experience I've ever had. Coming and going. So simply put, STAY AWAY!Ron O.
