Upon receiving the vehicle, we found it to be extremely dirty and emitting a strong, unpleasant odor resembling that of a decomposing body. This condition made it impossible for us to utilize the car effectively, especially considering our scheduled commitments. Due to these issues, we returned the vehicle to the designated location earlier than originally agreed upon. I kindly request that you review your vehicle inspection and cleaning procedures to ensure that such incidents do not occur in the future. AMIR NSakib was courteous and friendly. However, I believe he attempts to care for too many customers at the same time, while on a personal bluetooth call. He had no knowledge of the truck's basic workings, its year or model, or an owners manual. With 2 10' box trucks on premises, he would not allow me to book the newer vehicle. My move was from Topanga Canyon to Box Canyon, and my son was concerned for my safety based on the truck's condition. I neglected to check the back when I returned the truck, and realized I'd left my blankets. The gentleman working Sunday morning assured me that they were there and that I could pick them up any time that day. I came by midday, and Sakib had rented the truck out (again, the older, dirty one when the newer one appeared to be available) without checking the back, so my blankets went with the new customer. He told me the customer "took off" before he could check. At pick up and drop off, Sakib continually interrupted our transaction to assist others in line. I happily obliged the first several times, but after over half a dozen, I became impatient, which I regret. He then offered to give me the gentleman's phone # (is that legal... ?) and told me to call and ask for my blankets. The gentleman was already on his way, and the blankets were in the box, so all worked out. But I am sorry to say, it was not a pleasant experience.

Salvador GThe indian guy who did my check out is kinda rude, he’s giving me attitude on where I parked the van I got there 5:13pm as a check out and I hand him the key, but since he prioritized other customers who’s buying drinks and flood at the store, now my check out ended up at 5:38pm so I got charged double after all his chitchat with some customers and put me behind. Im gonna file a complaint about this.

Hanna BShortly after handing the worker at the gas station my credit card ( the first time in 6 months that it was handed to someone) a fraud attemp for 10,000 dollars was attempted. I have no evidence it was your associate but the facts seems to point in that direction. AMEX rejected the charge but I had to cancel my card and now I have to changed dozens of accounts with the new card number and it is frustration. I believe you should at least take a look at that gas station and the worker who handled my card just in case he is copying card #'s from your customers.

timmy jWe returned the vehicle on a Monday, however, it did not show on our account that we returned it. We called on Tuesday and the customer service representative tried calling the location but didn't get a response. She said they would reach out to the regional manager to fix the problem. Nothing happened. We called again on Wednesday and the customer representative tried to call the location again with no response. She put me on hold and was able to talk with the regional manager who said they would take care of it. Nothing happened. We called again on Thursday and finally the service representative sent an email to the regional manager and they were able to close out our account.

Marco OBad experience. You guys gave me a bad truck with bad tires, and the tire popped. I had to wait an extra hour to get another truck. Also, I drove less than 50 miles and you also overcharged me on the mileage as well.

Ignacio CEquipment was excellent. Make sure you take a photo of the gas gauge and mileage before you start. Did not match initial paperwork. Had to email customer service to get a fuel charge removed (which it promptly was).

Andre RAllow the rental contract to be completed at the location. It was very difficult to enter all the information online. I was told they couldn't do it at the location. And then it didn't go through after I was told my application was accepted online. The agent had to photo my driver's license again, and ask if I wanted insurance (again). Very repetitive.
Gary SI rent often - and always select this location first due to ease of process and typical overall condition of the vehicles.
Keith WUsed tissue was in the cup holder. The pick up location was changed without warning and didn't allow for pickup at the time I reserved. It took 3 calls to customer service to resolve the issue and it put my project behind by 2 hours which meant working in 100 degree weather instead of 80. The lady who helped me check the rental out was very nice and efficient.

Kimberly GChange the company name on website, it was hard to find. This is actually a mobil gas station, there is no sign that says eastern oil. It's actually a mobil gas station that one can park U-Haul trucks at. But very centrally located.

Arian GTruck was provided to me with 1/8 tank. They tried to tell me it was almost half a tank when they charged me and added gas fee, which was completely untrue. I have contacted them for an adjustment. will see how they respond. Truck was chevy instead of ford. suspension was terrible, but otherwise van was fine.
erik sStephanie, the manager was most helpful. She removed some graffiti which allowed the vehicle to be put back in service. I’ve rented from this location several times over the last year and there are two other women clerks who have rented me vehicles. They have been equally helpful, professional and personable. This is a location I would always recommend to someone looking to rent a U-Haul.

Jesse GMy issue is with the overall Uhaul system more than the pickup location. #1 the vehicle and equipment I had reserved was not at the location at the 10am pickup time. I was not given any notice of the lack of vehicle availability nor the lack of furniture pads. The rep told me that the vehicle was due to be returned at 10am but wasn’t there yet. Since my pickup time was 10am such scheduling seems bound for problems. Shouldn’t there be a 2 hour buffer between scheduled returns and a new pickup ? Or let me know this is the case and I can choose another pickup time & location ? The process to upgrade (at no extra cost) to a 15 ft truck that was the only Uhaul there was 45 minutes before I had keys in my hand. The system would not release the truck even as supervisors on the phone told us they’d released it. The truck was in poor condition, with one of the back roll up door cables loose and not “helping” to counterbalance the load. It was extremely difficult to open the door each time. I was glad the loose cable did not tangle and prevent door operation. Also, the vehicle did not begin with a full tank of gas. I filled the truck to the level of where the gauge was when I received it. I have time-stamped photographs of both before / after. Not having furniture pads available was a problem as well. If you’d simply let me know this prior to rental then I could’ve better prepared on my end to substitute with my own blankets, pads and towels. Return process was nebulous at this location as well. You simply hand over keys and receive zero receipt because Uhaul system was down. Location Rep said I’d get an email receipt Sunday morning but they’re closed then for rentals and this prompted me to call Uhaul support several times to inquire about the return. I got various levels of help on those calls, with the last time a Uhaul Rep finally noting my concerns in the account (that I had returned the vehicle but system was down so it really hadn’t been checked in yet). Overall the current system of scheduling is not designed for a good customer experience. It has several points where it seems to be inviting failure such as the lack of truly scheduling the proper vehicle and equipment to be at the pickup location. I was surprised that I had checked in and had the cargo van reservation all ok on my account while being at the location - and yet no such vehicle or equipment available.
