Dominic D.I originally reserved a pickup truck at a different location in GA. When I arrived to pick it up I was told they didn't have the truck I reserved. They found one at another location in town only for me to drive over there and same thing, no truck. Being that I needed to haul something that day I had to go with with a box van which I was then told was more money per mile and more for the insurance. I used it for 59 miles and brought it back a day early then I originally said I would. I put $15 of fuel in it before I returned it bringing to the 7/8ths level it was at when I left with it. I turned the van right after that. They never came out to check over anything before I left. About an hour later I received the receipt with a $19 fuel charge! I called only to have them say their nothing they can do and it is what is. I've always used uhaul when I needed to move items and have always returned the equipment I've rented in the same or better shape then when it left. It's pretty insulting to be charged for something like fuel right after putting fuel in it. Especially after not having the equipment I reserved and having to go to multiple locations just to pay more for something I didn't reserve.

There are not any UHaul personnel and we had to figure out how to unload our car from the auto transport since the people who loaded it didn't travel with us across the country. All the trucks/trailers were in a big, damp grass area…it should be paved. Not a great experience there.

Allen C.The paper work regarding fuel was incorrect - it showed 7/8 of a tank but was actually 3/4 on the fuel gauge. I informed Amy of this and she said it was no problem. She then charged us a fuel charge anyway. WHAT A RIPOFF!. I have disputed the charges with my credit union. Also, I will tell everyone I know not to rent from U-Haul.

Daniel M.It was mandatory to return the fuel to a specific measure. After calculating the miles used, I refueled the tank. After observation, the needle barely moved. I was forced to continue putting fuel to make the needle move. It was incremental. I gave up fueling after I felt it was far too much. Started driving, then all of a sudden a few blocks down, the needle spiked to nearly full tank. Strategic programming, if you ask me.
