It's Viroqua WI. What was I expecting? They have a lunch hour, I didn't know. I showed up during that time so I had to wait. The guy was late but friendly took care of things just fine but it's Viroqua time. I think Andy Taylor dropped by to pick up his chain saw. Lol.Doug W.

No problem with Effingers at all. This is for Uhaul corporate During rental took out safe tow....when installing the trailer onto the truck in the rain Uhaul sent me a text message saying I declined safe tow..this wasn't the case 36 minutes on hold to only talk to a representative whom decided eating potato were more important than answering my question. You are too expensive. Budget Truck Rental was 1/2 the cost of a Uhaul. If we weren't in a pinch, we wouldn't have used Uhaul at all.Jalon F.

The location and people there were great to work with. It rained the night after I loaded the trailer and it leaked all over my furniture.. I didn't file a complaint as i knew like most companies these days you would drag things out and i would spend a lot of time and effort to get the shaft. Because of a shortage of one-way trucks this weekend U-Haul had to change my reservation to more than an hour away. It would have meant a very late start on pickup day. The manager in Fort Atkinson was very helpful changing our reservation to 24/7. We were able to pick up the truck on the way down instead of the next morning. I really appreciated his help.Benjamin K.
I returned trailer early on Sunday afternoon when store was closed. Return did not require after hours service as it was not due until Monday morning. A service fee was added without any conversation or warning to me. Three phone calls were not returned when I requested an explanation.Cornelius B.

I am a home remodeling contractor I've been doing this for about 20 years before that I worked 14 years retail. These surveys that ask the customer what you can do to make their experience better would Be for you to become a customer and judge for yourself. If I had a bad experience I would tell you about it. But I didn't. I had a very good experience and the man who was representing you that waited on me did an excellent job. The only glitch came when I returned the truck to Viroqua. I had gotten a text that said I was to return the truck to Sparta but that is 25 miles away. Viroqua is 6 miles away. And the owner of Effingers was out sick so I had to leave the key in the lock box. The number I had to call for an after hours drop off was not in service. So I ended up making 4 phone calls to let UHaul know where and when I left the truck. Drop off info needs to be clearer. Thank you.cindy H.

I was talking the trailer from Wisconsin to Texas and was rented the oldest one in the lit. When we unloaded it half of my belongings were soaking wet due to it leaking when we had to drive through rain. Take into consideration the length of the trip instead of trying to just make a dollar. $250.00 for a one way rental really is not justified when your belongings are damaged and the insurance only covers damage to your property, the trailer.Vicky S.

Mark was excellent to work with!! He went above and beyond the call of duty to ensure my rental experience and mission were accomplished. My hitchlock rusted and I couldn't use my hitch till it was sawed off. Mark had a hitch so I could get me on my way. He is the epitome of old fashioned service.
