Anthony DePonteEl Bazaar was very helpful and the only good part of the experience. The U-Haul app is awful, and I was rejected due to a crack in my license, I then had to jump through hoops in order to get the approval. The approval should be done well in advance before the scheduled pickup. Due to the hoops I had to jump through, my rental was delayed by over 30 minutes. Unacceptable. I will not get reimbursed for my time, and I am sure if I was late to return, I would have been charged.. simply hypocritical. The app needs to be better, if you’re going to claim to be the best in the business, you need to truly be the best in the business. I have vowed to never use U-Haul again due to the clunkiness of the app, and lack of customer service from U-HAUL! I will be using the competitor next time I need to move. Very disappointed in U-Haul. El Bazar was great, and very helpful. It was U-Haul that dropped the ball. I will also make sure all of my colleagues, family, acquaintances, and friends know of my experiences. Simply unacceptable. How about you use all the hidden fees and costs that you add last minute, and allocate those towards improving the App/website. You will never receive my business ever again.

Laura MartinEmployee at Newton location did not want to be bothered to hook up trailer. Told to drive around back to do it then he reluctantly helped when asked. After loading trailer and starting to move things the trailer came unhooked from vehicle. Called original rental location about dropping trailer at concord location and was told a price of $60 a day plus insurance. Had trailer for 2 days and was charged over $250. Original price was $29 a day plus insurance. Gentlemen at Concord location said trailer was not hooked up correctly at Newton location.

Yvonne RittOur original contract was for a different location. While this location was decent, it added an hour to our trip as we were driving from out of state to pick up a truck. The person at this location was very nice and helpful. Our issue is that we did not select this location. We received a text, reassigning us to this pick up location the evening before we had reserved the truck. by UHaul. The location was 20+ miles from our original rental location, which added an hour to our trip. While UHaul gave us additional mileage, this was an inconvenience as it delayed our ability to load the truck. We would have appreciated a call from UHaul directly about being reassigned and given some options to either choose another closer location or a larger truck at the same price at the original or closer location.

MARION WOLFEMissing the Utility Dolly from my order. Had to travel additional 30 miles, for which I was charged $0.40 a mile although it was U-haul's fault for not having the equipment in the truck. The original rental was to be Hwy 70 Hickory, but U-Haul North Carolina changed it to this address. I ended up traveling to Hwy 70 Location to pick up the dolly.
