This was the second location selected for me by U-Haul staff after being informed only 2 hours before my scheduled pick up time that my preferred location was not available. I had already had one failed pick up attempt, due to the fact that the U-Haul I was meant to collect did not have the correct lock on it, and therefore I could not pick up the keys. The first location U-Haul sent me to was very unsafe, with numerous homeless loitering in the parking lot with drug activity. I had to leave and did not feel safe. This location was in a dark industrial area that did not feel safe after dark. There were suspicious cars driving back and forth while I was trying to collect the U-Haul. When I shared these safety concerns for two different pick up locations, the U-Haul representative did not apologize or take my concerns seriously. I would not pick up a U-Haul after hours at ANY Phoenix location.

JUSTIN LWe had ordered blankets, but they told us they had none in stock. We also had to change locations at the last minute because we got a message that our original location would not have the right sized truck. We reserved early enough that you could have moved the truck to the closer location and you could have gotten blankets with the order. We had to drive extra miles and didn't get what we ordered.
Mark GThe location and dealer was fine. The equipment was typical U-Haul quality, marginally adequate. Next time, I will buy a trailer. It will be cheaper and better quality.
