The onwer/manager of the location was not at helpful and only had one answer for all The questions which was â€œsearch online, everything is onlineâ€. It was my first time renting a U-Haul and I had no idea how things work. Had to spend 15-20 minutes in opening the back lock and getting the code. I would definitely never recommend renting a truck from that location.Jatinder V.

The person who is in charge was not cooperative. He was not ready to helping and said you have to do your own. We don't help in logging or something else. No instructions were mentioned , like how can i pick the keys and wether it was online or going in person to the shop . When i went inside the shop to ask how can i get the keys , he is not helping me either . He just said call uhaul customer care number . And after i done my trip , when i parked the truck then i got the instructions about how to get truck keys through online .Kulveer S.

I had the worst experience. I had a drop off time at 2 and i called the uhaul customer service to tell them i was going to be late and when i got to the location the unit i was supposed was closed and locked. I knocked on the door none answer. I called uhaul and the person i spoke to called the owner and he didnt pickup. And we got disconnected. Then i called again and andrea picked up. She also tried calling and none answered. Then she ask if i want to drop off at a different location. I didnt want to add cost to the truck and said no. And she said that i can drop the key in the dropoff bin and also i wont be charge for the late since i had to wait an hour in the parking lot and the owner still didnt show. After a few hours i get the receipt and the owner charged me 10 extra for fuel and the late fee. I call uhaul and told them i have pictures of me fillin the truck with gas and that i wasnt suppose to get charged for the late fee. She aid go to the location and talk to them. I went and showed the fuel and the picture and then he went ahead and refunded me the 10 dollars for the fuel but not for the late fee. I spent so much on the phone with uhaul and had to wait in the parking lot for an hour and the owner never showed. I rent from you alot and this has been the worst experienceKuljit K.

The truck was dirty inside and had a very foul odor. It smelt like someone had urinated in the truck. I had to drive with the windows down in order to breathe. The smell didn't leave the truck. I dont think I will ever rent from Uhaul again.Ashley R.

agent put in incorrect driving license when i was dropping off the vehicle this brought up an alert of someone who was in arrears since 2003 collection agency for u-haul called this, of course, caused me to panic i did not know the person they indicated, so they advised me to put a fraud alert on my driving license then we figured out it was not meDEBORAH-ANN C.
Steering was loose on this unit and it kept pulling, can't recall if it was left or right, but it should be inspected at the next, earliest opportunity. All else worked very well. Very pleased with the efficiency of the folks at this location.Wayne N.

I arrived at my appointed time and the attendant had no idea I was coming and hadn't been trained to do U-Haul rentals. She called someone (her son, presumably) and then passed the phone to me. This young man was somewhat helpful, except that he needed me to give him all my personal information, including credit card #, over the phone. I had already submitted all this info when I reserved on-line, but he said he couldn't access it. So I went through the whole process again. I then passed the phone back to the attendant so that he could walk her through how to log into the computer and print out the contract. The whole process was confusing and frustrating and took over 45 minutes, which caused me to be late to meet my workers.DAVE M.

No one had the key for the truck and so they had to call the owners of the facility and it took them one and a half hours to bring key. I was told it would only take about 20 minutes. When I called her about the revised estimated ETA, she basically told me it wasn't her fault and that she could care less if I had to wait because she was going to help the flood victims in Calgary and my problem was not important and then she hung up on me.BELVA R.
I pre-ordered a 17' truck and was definitely not given a 17' truck. It was a 14' at best. I also pre-ordered a utility dolly, 2 furniture dollies and 12 furniture pads and all the guy could give me was 6 furniture pads. What is the point in pre-ordering online if the location can't provide you with what you ordered. I also couldn't even open the drivers side door from the outside. I had to crawl in through the passenger door. The customer service was extremely poor and I would never recommend anyone going to that location to rent a Uhaul - ever!Alisa W.
The cashier at the gas station would not rent me my vehicle (which I booked online and had confirmation number) unless I gave him another $100 cash deposit. I told him it didn't say that on website, I printed out confirmation and showed him, and it said all was taken care of and my vehicle would be ready. I had to phone UHaul alberta and speak to someone there, who also was very confused why he wouldn't process the vehicle. He phoned someone as well, she gave me a different vehicle then the one I needed, which cost me more in gas. This vehicle was a 17' Cube Van. It had NO Windsheild Fluid, was dirty, you couldn't enter driver's door with key, had to go through passenger side, and it had LESS THAN 1/4 TANK OF GAS when rented. I will never rent from Uhaul again in the near future. It was too much hassle, and someone really needs to get the information to the customers on the website out to their locations immediately, with the same information. I was in a very poor spot if I didn't have that vehicle, and I did everything required of me. I did have to end up giving him $100 cash, thank goodness I had it on me, and the other gentleman at the end of the shift was much better. I would suggest that location, SO THEY ARE NOT FINED, have someone look into the maintenance and upkeep of their vehicles, as I know that it's a very serious offence to not supply a safe and reliable vehicle, especially one low on gas and not full up on fluids.shannon R.

I found it frustrating that the gas was almost at empty. I believe the policy should be to get a full tank of gas and then return the vehicle with a full tank of gas. Checking the vehicle out took almost 20 minutes which took away from how much time we had the truck.Maggie G.
First, this was not the location that I originally booked with. When I showed up at 8 am at my original location (CLS3 Enterprisies) there was NO ONE there, no u-haul vans, no phone number to call, etc. I had to call around to find another van, and then drive accross the city to pick it up. The van I received was filthy (cigarette butts in the ashtray, mouldy food stuck to the seatbelt), only had 1/4 gas in the tank, and no windshield wiper fluid which I didn' realize until I was on the highway and needed some. Overall I had a horrible U-haul experience and will never rent with U-Haul again.VANESSA F.

I reserved a 17' truck, but the keys were missing, so I got stuck with a 10' truck (not a 14' truck as the employee tried to pass it off as). This caused me to have to make more trips, which increased the mileage (and, therefore, the cost) substantially. He let me use the dolly (useless) and furniture pads (good) for free. When I returned the truck, a second employee who can't speak English intelligibly "helped" me complete the transaction. With so many problems experienced by myself and all of my friends and family who have had the displeasure of using your services which can be directly attributed to you, I'm surprised your awful business hasn't completely tanked by now.DAVID G.
The attendent did not speak english. when the manager got there he was very good. But their was a lonf wait time, and the attendant couldn't tell us when the manager would arrive. he only said "soon". Upon checking out the unit after driving it home. one tire had only 10 lbs of air in it and another tire had 20 lbs. I aired the tires and hoped they would make it for my 500 km move. I knew that there would be no help available on new years eve.DON K.
I will never use Uhaul again after this experience. It started with a filthy truck both inside and out including old tim hortons cups inside the truck and mud caked on the outside so much that our "damage walk through" was useless. Then the back door needs servicing as 1 out of 10 tries it will close smoothly. When I brought it up with the attendant he said you just have to keep trying. This was a huge pain during the move. All in all I have had good experiences in the past but will not look at alternative measures to avoid the nightmare that I faced that day.travis M.
