Awesome staff who tried to help with the problems I endured on the trip, only to be shutdown by someone higher up. Still waiting for a phone call from Uhaul regarding my experience

Cigarette burns and nasty boogers on the console, dirty moving blankets still in the back. Smoke film on inside of glass.

All good except the I was told the truck was "full". 10 min into my trip I looked down and it was only 3/4. I told the rep when I brought it back as it cost me $22 for 56 miles and just got "sorry, guess the guy who checked it in last time messed up." ALWAYS CHECK THE GAS GUAGE BEFORE YOUR LEAVE THE LOT.

They weren’t really prepared when we called. Ended up being good but they asked if we were sure it was for a U-Haul. There were other locations nearby that we could have used instead.

The location is great, but I had a significant issue with picking up the truck and discovering there was no lock for the back. I have rented multiple U-Hauls in the past that all came with locks, so my assumption was that is the standard. So it was really disappointing to find no lock with this truck, and calling support to hear that that is not guaranteed. Moving is stressful as it is, and had very limited time to actually acquire a lock. I was able to procure one, but there is no messaging that a lock is not included, and that led to a very stressful and unpleasant experience.
