We told them about the lights being out when we turned the trailer into Eric’s and he said All Purpose Storage should have been fixed it and that they shouldn’t have rented it without running lights. He said he’d have it looked at and fixed.

JEFFREY FEasy to return. Staff was outside. Directed me to where he'd like the trailer dropped. As he saw my lack of trailer backing skills, he non-judgementally offered to tuck it away for me. I let him back it in while still attached to my car. : ) When I originally made the reservation, the system set return date to Sunday, 9/1. Being a holiday weekend with businesses closed, I changed it to Tuesday, 9/3. I was charged $20 / day Sunday and Monday, even though locations were closed. Staff informed me I could have just dropped the trailer on Sunday, and followed up with a phone call to verify the return Tuesday. It would be nice if my $40 for Sunday and Monday were refunded to my credit card.

The only problem, and it's not the fault of the employee at Eric's, was that the car dolly we rented had not seen any grease on the main swivel fitting in sometime, and I didn't realize it until I went to hook it up after we filled the truck. Again, I'm not blaming the employee at Eric's, but maybe a memo should be sent out to all rental facilities to put grease in the swivel grease fitting on the car tow dollies to help keep them working properly.
MARK EThe Man That Checked Me Out Was Very Rude He Charged Me $15 For Some Hangers That Came Off Of My Coat On Top Of That I Explained To Him That It Was Oil In The Back Of The Truck And He Blamed Me For It. He Was Very Rude And I Will Never Rent From This Location AGAIN.
TENASSA WWe originally setup our order thru Gator Towing and recovery but they didn't have our truck ready or the supplies we ordered. Luckily the agent we spoke to was able to verify Eric's Rentals had a truck available. We still missed out on the supplies but weren't charged for them. I would have appreciated a credit on the rental for the inconvenience.

App wasn’t working properly and the CSR told me to call to insure everything was completed the next day

Told me I would have to wait for his manager to close the account for me and refused to return my deposit. Even calling up to the store I was yelled at and told o was banned from the store

Ralph FDrop off location was very friendly and nice. I had to call the 800 number because my bill reflected an error. It said it I had "0" extra days at $40, but my bill had an extra day charged. I lady I talked to at the 800 was very nice and said she would reimburse the $40 and UHaul did. Thank you. Randy McNeal

Mike TThe people were rude and reluctantly helpful. I’ll never do business with them again. In fact, I had another long trip scheduled with their equipment, but I canceled it and made different plans because I didn’t feel comfortable doing business with them. I’m a 75 yo woman, moving material in a town where I knew few people. They acted like I was an imposition. Their location is dirty and there is a bucket that catches the rain sitting in the middle of a mostly empty building. Their computer technology is from 20 years ago, so they could not take my Apple card, which was not the one I had used to confirm. While I was retrieving the card I wanted to use, the “gentleman” just went ahead and processed the transaction to the card in file. It wasn’t like they were busy; I was the only person in the building other than the two men sitting down. I’d not driven a box truck in several years, and all they did was hand me the keys. I had to go back into the building to know which truck to use. Then again, to ask another question. When I returned the truck, they said it was “extremely dirty”, and asked if I wanted to clean it or pay a cleaning fee. I took a broom and climbed in the back of the truck. I couldn’t have gotten enough “dirt” off the floor to fill a table spoon. I’m surprised UHaul lets them use their name.

Gavriel RI was charged a 25.00 clean up fee, and the truck was already dirty inside. The worker did not inspect the vehicle with me on pickup or return. And I swept the back trailer out on return.
Sherwin JThe truck was dirty and had dog hair and food in it. I only moved 40 miles and they tried to make me clean it like I'm feeding a dog on a 40 mile trip. I told the person at the first location and he said it was "all good". That shows me that it was not cleaned at all or sterilized, there's a lot of disease going around and they need to clean the trucks.. also uhaul only gave me 37 miles to make a 43 mile trip, then tried to charge me more money even though I only used the truck for 6 hours out of the 24. The people when I dropped it off hastled me about not paying the extra money and it took up an extra hour of my time that could have been spent helping my wife unpack. The calculation for miles needs to do better with accounting for traveling to and from uhaul to your location as well as from where and to you are moving. Truck drove good, bad service on both ends and not a sanitary choice. Overall very negative experience. I won't be using again.

LAUREN BFirst i went to u haul place in Humboldt Tn. There i did all my paper work and reserved a truck for June 1st at 8:30 am. U haul sent me a email saying u haul would contact me by phone by 6:00 Pm on May 31 to confirm and give me all the information i needed to pick up the truck. No one called!! I started calling u haul at 6:45 on may 31 and listented to your recorded message telling me how important my call was. I stayed on the phone for 30 minutes until someone answered and quickly told me i needed someone else and said she was connecting me directly. Again i had to listen (for 30 more min) to your recording. Finally someone answered and was very rude and told me none of what i had been told was true and that my pick up site which was 7 minutes from my home would open at 10:00 the next morning. I explained i had movers hired to be at my house at 8:30. She said im sorry but your pickup site is not a mobile site and i could not get the truck at 8:00. I explained that the owner at that site was on vacation and would not be there at 10:00 to get me the truck. Then your person said you will need to change pick up sites. Sending me now to a site 30 minutes from my home which now added to my mileage on the truck. She told me to be there at 8:00 and the truck would be ready. Guess what we get there at 7:50 and see a man sitting inside so we try to go in. The door is locked. I tap on door and tell him im there to get truck and he hollers back... truck aint ready we open at 8:30. Once again u haul has no idea what they are doing. At 8:30 i go in to get the truck and he has to do all the paper work again! So i finally get to my house at 9:30 and at least my movers did what they were suppose to do and showed up at 8:30. I had to pay two movers an hour for doing nothing because U haul doesn’t know their job very well! The drop off was excellant. You talk a good game but you have no idea what your doing!! Satisfied?? Not in the least!! And yes i will tell everyone i can!

I hope she got good service here, but seeing as I have no idea who see is or how my information is tied to her name one can only guess... get your administrative affairs on track people!?

Sabrina ALocation did not open at 8 as advertised. Owner did not know how to use the U Haul system, so I had to wait until his employees came to work at 8:30. They did not offer to walk around truck, help load the appliance dolly I rented, or offer any other supplies. When returning truck to same location, they were rude and acted as if I was bothering them because they had to put down their cell phone and work. I will rent a U Haul truck again if needed, but will definitely not rent from this location again.
JASON DThe process was nicely streamlined. I checked in, a person verified the mileage and condition of the truck, and we were on our way. Nice! Both employees were not wearing masks. Makes one a bit uncomfortable, but I did have a mask on.
Gregory DI really like using uhaul but this past experience was horrible when I got my van it was dirty and the van was pretty banged up. When I got in it and started to drive the transmission had a slip in it. The furniture pads I ordered were not in there so I had to drive to Jackson to get them and it took me way out of my way.So over all this was a poor experience for me.
