I checked in online. Had to re-do entire reservation upon arrival, no record, making us late for our pick up appointment. Staff had to search for an adaptor. Staff was great, the smoothness of the reservation was not.

RACHID KThe employee at esso stn quoted me the wrong price even though he looked up the distance and calculated it.. then the printer was broken so he couldnt pront me invoice so i could check it and he gavr me proce quote verbally. When i returned truck the price was over $500 instead of the $270 he told me! He would not stand by his original quote and told me to call UHAUL!!!! I will never ever use uhaul again!
KEVIN GMy truck was full of snow and ice and not even warmed up for my pick up. When I asked the attendant about it he told me it was my job to clean it . He had a bad attitude and was rude, and when met with the same back was threatening and had no sense of customer service. Tried to also say I didn't full up the tank to where it was when I took the vehicle. Luckily I did my due diligence and took photo and video. If I could give 0 I would. Will never rebt from this location again

Ted KWas disappointed after renting to find out that trailer size not available in canada. Charge was acceptable 33 tax included but asked for 60 dollar deposit. Upon dropping off I was rushed out by renter. I asked about cost difference on deposit and actual cost. He said he would take care of it.. I guess he did..he kept it !
TIMOTHY MMy complaint is primarily with the initial UHaul provider I spoke with at the location 554 Niagara Street in Welland. When I reserved the 26 foot truck I was not advised that my reservation was “subject to availability “. The day before our move we were contacted by a UHaul representative who advised that the truck we had reserved was not available and we would have to drive to Fort Erie to pick up a smaller 20 foot truck. Not only did this result in rearranging my weekend to go get the truck from the new location, it was not large enough to fit my items. I had to make an additional trip in my personal vehicle back to welland from Peterborough to get my remaining items. I relocated for work but my work will not reimburse me for the additional trip. If I had been aware that “reserving” the truck was arbitrary, I would have gone with another company. Absolutely will not be using UHaul again.

I realized at the last minute I didn't bring a trailer ball, the owner was quick to accommodate me with one he had in stock. This U-HAUL location is very convenient because it is at a gas station that is open late 10pm. Although this trailer rental was for personal use I have used this U-Haul several times for my work. The rates were very reasonable for the trailer rental.

Patrick FUnfortunately I had requested a one-way trip from Fort Erie to Toronto, but when I arrived, there were only specific trucks available for one way trips. Had to get into a 26 footer which was way more than we needed and was a very big truck as it was the only one allowed for one-way trips, it was a two day rental and once I arrived at my destination really needed a smaller vehicle to finish my moving within the City, I was hoping I could get into a smaller vehicle for the second day, but ended up having to bring back the larger vehicle a day in advance and then having to re-rent a whole new truck for additional charges. It was too bad that U-Haul wouldn’t such a request even though the vehicle that I had previously booked was much smaller.

When I returned, there were two people working (the same guy and another woman) and they were both so nice! Had a little conversation while finishing the return and I was out. DAVIDANDRE LOriginal drop off location didn't want to take vehicle back, told us to go here. Plus the guy at original drop off location was very rude. At the next location he told us to go to, they didn't want it either. We called U-Haul and they told us that the locations can refuse a drop off, even after it's been confirmed! They directed us to another drop off 30 km away! The second location finally agreed to take it back.
