The location I used was infested with rats . I took pictures I talked to the owner,he was out of town and he supposed to get in touch with me and never did. I had to go through my belongings piece by piece. The rat ate through some stuff I had I had in some bags. This location knew they had rats and didn't warn me. Poor poor poor ownership. My truck was not clean in the cab. There was dog hair in the seats, spilled sticky drink on the cup holder, and the center drop down arm rest was filthy on the arm rest side. Otherwise, the truck was great for my move. The lady that checked me in and out did a wonderful job. She was cheerful and very helpful. However, she was the only team member assisting the customers, and the wait time for me was excessive both checking in and out. I suggest that there be another team member ready to assist customers.James F.

They charge you for miles that you don't use. So when ever you rent a Uhaul make sure you look at the mileage for yourself and not depend on what they say it is because they will charge you for it. I only used maybe 10 miles and I was charge for 41 miles. Never will use this location again. Also I was given someone else paper work. Never never will use this location again. That text is how I found out that my pick up place had movedâ€¦.an hour away from Oak Grove. After I asked, I did get additional miles. My original time was to turn in on Sunday the 9th. But due to the fact that we finished in a timely matter I tried to turn it in on Saturday. I looked up their location look for times open and close they did not have any. Get all the way over there there was a car actually SUV that was parked right there in front so I'm thinking someone is in the office. Nope there was no one there and they close at 12 on Saturday. My question is who closes on 12 on Saturday unless you trying to get some more extra charges put on to your clients or your customers paperwork. Then I tried to call Sunday morning at 8 when they open phone still busy. Sorry I forgot I tried to call them when I got there on Saturday phone busy. Now back to Sunday I called at 8 a.m. phone busy call back at 9 a.m. phone busy call back at 9:30 so I'm busy call back at 10 phone busy so on and so forth so I hope you get the gesture what I'm talking about. Contact renters if equipment reserved is unavailable. Not having a dolly was inconvenient. Also check the entire property to make sure a drop off was done. I had to call back and confirm that I did, in fact, drop off the trailer.Babin G.
I ordered a 20 foot truck. I ended up with a 15 foot. I ordered it in one city and had to pick it up in another, of course at 99 cents per mile. I was not shown the electronic version of my gas beforehand, only after when I had to pay for three gallons. If I would have been shown this before I would have gased it up MORE myself. Instead I was only told that it was between one fourth and half tank full, which is how I returned if AFTER I had gased it up myself before turning it in. When I called to see if there was a 20 foot available I was told by the electronic phone system my wait would be between FORTY AND FIFTY MINUTES!!!! The staff at the pickup location were rude, and I had to make THREE TRIPS by getting a 15 foot, of course again at 99 cents per mile. When I originally called to confirm my online reservation (because I got kicked out of the system) I was told someone would call me to confirm, which NEVER HAPPENED. Then to add to all this messy, unorganized confusion I got an email saying MY RESERVATION HAD BEEN CANCELLED!!! Honestly, I don't know how my service and experience could have been worse. Oh, yes, I do. I could have been the people trying to pick their UHaul up after hours who weren't given an access code to the key box. Honestly, UHaul, you used to be a great and efficient company. What the heck happened?!?!?! Such a disappointment.Leah T.

You can improve your reservation system. I originally ordered a 6x12 enclosed trailer from Hi-lo auto sales in West Monroe on 05/20. When I arrived today 05/29 I was advised that there was not a trailer assigned for me, like it was no big deal. I travelled over 100 miles to move my daughter and now I had no trailer. They did give me a number to call. The woman who answered after 20 minutes was uncaring and kept saying she was in Oklahoma and not in Louisiana. I don't care where you are, help your customers who you have already messed over. Closest trailer was 60 miles away. I made a reservation over a week out and now am told I have to drive another 60 miles there and 60 miles back to get a trailer I was promised would be ready. Btw, where is my $50 from the guarantee it would be there? I finally had to find a smaller open trailer which made me take 2 trips, at 100 miles each way and just got done at 11:20 at night when I started this chore at 8am this morning. Uhaul has some serious issues with reservations. I feel I should be compensated with the new rental taken care of due to hassle I was out through unnecessarily. And I still want my $50 guaranteed compensation. Executive climate was friendly and helpfu, but high-low was a 0.Eric F.
