We reserved a IUhaul on August 1. When we arrived, we were told they didn’t have any. We drove from out of town to get the truck and were told it was nothing they could do. I called customer service and still nothing wa stone. My husband said there something in the app that said if the equipment was not available, $50 would be given. This is my first having a problem with UHaul. The place where we rented the truck was nonchalant.

The women that work at this location are extremely lazy and will not answer the phone. I rented a truck twice in a weeks time, and during the first encounter, I saw them decline several phone calls in a row and even said, “this number won’t stop calling over and over.” For my second encounter, I scheduled my original pick up time for 12:30. I started calling at 12:20 to tell them I was running late but was on my way. I called close to 10 calls. They kept ignoring my call on the first ring. I finally called on my husbands phone and they picked up no problem and didn’t have much to say except “okay” when I told them I was running late and that they kept ignoring my calls for 25 minutes trying to tell them that.
AnnaKate HCustomer service needs attention ASAP. The girl who "assisted" me was no help at all and even made me put the furniture blankets in the truck myself after informing me despite my reservation that there were no dollys of any kind available. Poor service and website collaboration.

That link had expired by the time i looked at my phone some time later. This “dealer” should check out the vehicle and at least make an attempt to clean before passing it on.

PAMELYNSKI WI paid premium price for the U-Haul and got half of a truck…the worst experience as I have rented from U-Haul many times in the past ..this vehicle had 175,000 miles on it ..the steering was so loose I literally had to fight it the whole way to keep it going straight , the brakes had to be pushed almost to the floor just to stop, clocking my mileage this truck got a total of 4.5 miles to the gallon, it rode so rough I had a headache by the time I got to my destination and to top it all off it was dirty when I picked it up….if renting a truck like this it should have been discounted ….:not listed at full price for sure
