My original reservation was for a different location and different pick up time..only found out this morning that U-Haul reservation has changed this booking. Quite aggravating as we were on a specific schedule. The only consolation was that we were familiar with this location as we had rented from here in the past . Nothing regarding health and safety was performed in the service car, such as clean vehicle, wipes or hand sanetizers. The U-Haul rental guy didn't perform about how the vehicle operates, as I told him I never drove a van and I was very close to have an accident to his shop wall. He was very upset and showing no compassion when he saw I am stressed of not knowing how to drive the van. He could give me a short training before I take the car. I hope this doesn't happen again.GITA G.

They were supposed to be open at drop off. We're not then charged an extra day although it dropped off on time then refused to return my calls where I left voicemails for days. Caused me the need to call main number and wait on hold twice to a total of 2 more hours of my time.Paula P.

The location and person there was good , but u haul itself is nothing less than an unfair non transparent company.. I reserved truck for 6 hours in a nearby center , they changed the location to a 25 kilometres far and also changed the time from 1130 to 1030 and when i reached the counter for pick up they informed me to drop off the vehicle even before than i was scheduled. Such a pathetic experience, the market monopoly really sucks, new competitors are neededmanoj K.

Overall customer experience was frustrating. My reservation times were not booked correctly. I had to make 4 calls to get right.for example..I booked 2 days, got confirmation email, then another that was wrong, then day before pick up changed to 1 day, phoned, on pick up was still not correct.... Was told I would be charged 25c per mile traveled extra with 80 miles free, but was charged more. I also only traveled 19 miles extra not 36 as charged..but serves me right for not taking picture of start odometer reading. Lesson learnt Apart from all the above, truck at least was in good condition, ran well. No problems there.Michael D.

The vehicle was not clean at all I had to wipe the areas a driver needs to touch. The fob was not working I had to open the truck manually every time the security system were going off , the engine sign in dashboard was on the engine sound weird.Abdul K.

I had to travel a long distance ,because of availability and original charge waas 20 dollars, estimate giving was 60 ,bill was over 90,there should of been some allowance because of travel for location.JULES Timothy N.
Don't charge so much for your products. It is way too expensive. The fact your gouge you're clients at the end of the month and offer cheaper services mid month means I will never recommend you to my friends and will recommend they go with your competitors if they have the option.Joshua G.
I was totally surprised to see such a high end bill. I called U-Haul through a call centre and i was not advised about the extra mileage fee! I would have never accepted this offer. The Call Centre sent me a quote for about $80. Surprisingly, I ended up paying over $200. I consider this false advertising and request to be contacted by a manager for explanation and compensation. Sorry to say. Owner was there and I was little early to pick up only 30 min. Owner said he don't have vehicle yet. But there was three trucks. Then he gave me one of them. Brakes were making noise as you apply. I was kind of scared of driving. It was not a great experience.DAVINDER P.

The fob did not work, the smell of previous renters was part of the experience, I think, it could be better, the engine light went on about 10 minutes after gazing, not sure why, overall not my best day with Uhaul. I have been at this location many times, I understand it can happen.Martin G.

The vehicle was not clean inside or outside but it only had 1500 kms on it so the 9" van ran smoothly. I would highly recommend that this location clean the inside driver & passenger seats before offering to the next customer. The seats were very dirty. The outside of the van was dirty as well & I recommend that the cellular store/UHAUL Renting Company wash its Vans outside before giving to a new customer. Very disappointed in the total lack of cleanliness ESPECIALLY during COVID.Shelley L.

Final receipt is unclear and difficult to see how "Best Rate" is calculated. I had the vehicle for 6 days but seem to be charged for 7 days. Distance is measured in km but charges are based on miles. 621 miles or 612 miles are both written - while the amount driven is 612 km.Richard G.
