1. The operating hours are not correct. If you say you're going to be open from 9-3, people will expect that someone is going to be at the location during those hours. 2. Share the combination for the truck lock at some point in the process. We received the lock to obtain the key but there was no information provided about the lock for the back of the truck to open it. We called and were unable to get assistance. We ended up finding someone's old receipt which had the code written by an employee previously. It shouldn't be detective work to find this information. 3. There was water leaking into the truck from the roof which we noticed while we had the door open. Many of my items got wet.Javier H.
1. If a customer reserves blankets or a dolly , make sure all the equipment is in the truck. 2. Inform people ahead of time they will either need a passport , lease agreement or someone to answer a phone call ahead of time , so they can prepare and make the pick up smoother.Sophia L.

There was a mattress cover still in the truck. The self check out is ridiculous, when uhaul was doing the return they did not take so many photos. Insane the amount of time it takes after a long day. There should be a discount for this amount of work.Janice J.

The truck has a 7pin hook up and the trailer had a 4pin hook up - UHaul didn't have an adaptor. I had to go an buy an adaptor on a Sunday of a long weekend. The hook up for lights should be listed.Nicholas V.

Inside of the cab was disgusting! Garbage behind and under the seats. Coffee/drink spills all over the inside door panels. Black mold inside drink holders. I scrubbed and disinfected it before we set out on our 2 days drive in it! Once we got underway we discovered that the windshield washer fluid wasn't working. Filled the reservoir up and it still didn't work. Driving through northern Ontario during bug season with no washer fluid pump was challenging at times!harry H.

We rented twice in a month. Both times we rented a 20 floor truck. With well over a month notice, only received a 15 foot truck. No I need to rent a third because I had to leave stuff at my old house. It is only because my closing date is at the end of June that I am able to do this. The uHaul app is an absolute joke. Wouldnt work on Android, the ID verification and selfie you need to take just dont work. Had to use someone's iphone to get it working. Then it only just about works. Then it asked you for Passport, additional contact etc, which it doesnt warn you about before you go to pickup the vehical. It took me ages to get hold of the person running the pickup as the live chat was just awful and barely any reply. Then we had to drive to the office, where we had to redo all the paperwork that i already did online becasue the app was utterly broken. Finally got the code for the key box. Got back to the pickup location. The guy at the counter ended up giving me the wrong lock box and code for the lock so i had to call back AGAIN!!!!. It was an absolutely attorcious experience from start to finish. Almost feels insulting having to pay for a service this horrific. Next time ill go to Home Depot, Enterprise or anyone else just to avoid using uHaul.!!Sarah C.

We had a great experience with Barrie location Uhaul. We just moved to Barrie a few weeks ago. We needed to pick up sofas and had reserved a 10 foot cargo van. The day before picking up, we were told of more items going into truck. We needed a 15 foot truck and Peter happily helped us out! We got everything to fit in one trip to Mississauga and back to Barrie. What a relief and a huge thank you to Peter!!! Thanks so much, again! Worst customer service I have ever experienced. They changed our truck and location multiples times with nothing but a â€œsorry, it is what it isâ€. We had a large 3 bedroom home to move and we had to fit it into a smaller truck and trailer after we had ordered the largest truck almost 2 months prior. We had to use our lots of gas and kms to drive all over the place because our pick up/drop off locations for the truck and trailer were all over the city. I had another customer service rep screaming at me over the phone to return the truck by our agreed upon drop off time (keep in mind, I still had 4.5 hours with the truck). And we had full intentions of returning it by 3pm. We even got it there an hour earlier. I won't ever go with uhual again. If you want your entire move to be screwed over, for sure, go with them! The only issue was getting a refund of the $60 deposit I paid for the blankets. I was told that a cheque will be mailed to me and that I would be contacted when the refund request had been forwarded. Two business days later and I have not yet received confirmation from the Barrie location that the cheque has been requested. It looks like I will have to follow up myself.W. Jeffrey F.

I wish I had known they did not have dollys and furniture movers. I ordered them online and found out when picking the truck up they do not have the equipment and there is no way to correct the UHAUL website. They apologized and said it was a flaw in the website. I would say fix it.MikeMiranda J.

Truck was well maintained. Cabin Interior could have been cleaner. There was a dried coffee stain on the windshield, in a rather obvious spot. Cleaned it to see the road. There were coffee stains on the middle seat back, found when we lowered it for an armrest. The drink holder rattles when there are drinks in them. No noise when it's empty.Lee W.
