I dropped my truck off after hours so didn’t interact with anybody. Process was easy, lots of parking and no issues.

The finalizing the contract took a little extra time. The truck was very clean. Even had some extra furniture blankets tucked in with the dolly in the back.

I’ve always relied on U-Haul for my moving needs and usually have a smooth experience. This time, I used the mobile check-in and checkout option, which worked fine and was convenient. However, I ran into a few issues that made the process more frustrating than expected. The lockbox was difficult to open, which delayed access to the truck key. Once I got inside the truck, I realized my moving equipment wasn’t loaded, so I had to track down the store to get it sorted. Finding the store was a challenge in itself. It’s not listed on Google Maps, and there’s no clear signage at the road. Someone eventually told me it was behind the Tim Hortons, but even then, it was hard to spot—just a small U-Haul sign on a door. A visible sign or better directions would make a big difference. Overall, the truck itself was fine, but the pickup logistics and store visibility need improvement.

Easy process to pick up truck. Truck was very clean and low miles and comfortable for our 2000km trip.

Drop off location was a parking lot only. The office was at another site a block and an half away. We had to call the office remotely and get someone to come to the lot to do the intact for the drop off. There is no clear messaging that this is what is needed, so it made for a very frustrating experience at the drop off location.

The longest wait was the dealer trying to get ahold of someone at U-Haul main to book the truck. When calling there was no direct contact number and he kept getting shuffled around. Very unnecessary time waisted

Both pickup and drop off were done online so no interactions with personnel. Would be nice to have longer open hours as check in process was quite time consuming online.

When i arrived there was no staff present. I did a self check in but the app was glitchy. Then I got a call later to see if a still wanted the trailer but I already had one. I returned it and no staff again. This store needs properly trained staff to be present.

The wait to process and pick up was way too long. Only 1 employee working on the first Saturday of the month was not a great idea. It was difficult for just 1 employee to process the orders in a timely manor. Not his fault

The location is not great (entrance not well marked, just off highway with lots of construction). I also found that the prices I reserved at the beginning of September did not match what I was actually charged. The amount I was quoted at the time of reservation was closer to $200 and the final charges were $520. The increased amounts were reflected in the base charge and also the additional km (which I was told would only be 0.30 cents per km). Overall, the product and service I received was significantly different from the one I reserved several weeks ago and for that reason I would not recommend to a friend. It's hard to recommend something that ends up being quite different from what you initially expected and quoted.

We didn’t interact with anyone. This location has 24 hour drop off, which has been very convenient several times. The lot was very full this past weekend, though, so it would be helpful to understand what the protocol is if there are no free places to park…

hello, how are you ? the truck was great , but the cab was full of the last customers garbage...ie many fast food wrappers and lots of empty bottles and a bag full of candy coated peanuts every where...tons of peanuts in every pocket and consol....the cab needed better cleaning.....

The store was supposed to be open at 9:00am. The guy running the store didn't show up until 9:10am and looked like he just got out of bed. He did not acknowledge the $70 discount I was supposed to receive and told me I would be charged when I dropped the truck off which was false. He then proceeded to give us a truck key that did not match the truck # on the contract which then resulted in additional charges to me when the required fuel levels did not match at drop off. Now I have to wait on an Area Field Manager to decide if I am going to get the overcharges refunded or not. Worst experience ever. This entire transaction was handled with inaccuracy and unprofessionalism from start to finish.

When I ordered a van, it got switched to a truck..when I tried to do a mobile pick up, the truck was blocked in and had to contact someone who made us wait 30 minutes and he was very polite and he got it out. I am sure if I did it, I would have broken both mirrors off. Hie made me feel stupid for him to get it out. So, given the wrong vehicle, they took away 30 minutes of a 2 hour rental , and the truck was blocked in and there was no room to park my vehicle , I do not recommend this location.

One gripe I had was there was no indication or information detailing how to adjust the mirrors. Makes it kinda tricky to manoeuvre the truck with poorly placed mirrors.

I paid for a dolly but I did not receive it. I would like a refund for it since I did not receive one to use. I would also like a refund for the additional amount charged to my credit card. I paid 89.44 and it should have been 85.10….. it should really be less than that without the dolly fee as well.

Employee was almost 1 hour late. Delaying our entire itinerary. Booked equipment was not provided (furniture dolly) Drop off process was not smooth. No clear indication of proper way to return the truck.

As a customer I was told I have to latch the trailer to my vehicle. There was no associate to check for proper installation or safety. Very irresponsible business. No one came to the yard to check for safety. Never again at this location absolutely terrible service

The whole process was easy to use the app to order the van, however I would change one thing, calling the emergency contact should be done prior to getting to the yard to pick up the van as this could hold the entire process up. Also, when we got the van there were no blankets, yet we ordered 6!!!!

Although the 6x12 enclosed towed well, be sure to confirm that your rental has the higher ceiling. Mine had the lower ceiling and bang my head many times. Will never rent this model again.

I’ve rented numerous times from this location and this specific time was not a great experience. The truck’s brakes were so terrible the steering wheel would shake as you braked to a stop. My pregnant wife was so terrified to continue driving she didn’t even want to stop to refill gas as we just wanted to return the truck back immediately. I am thinking of even writing a review because it’s unacceptable when your business is renting out your equipment and you allow your equipment to get in such bad shape it can endanger your own customer’s lives. Please contact me to rectify this. I would be happy if some portion of my rental was waived

There was a line up and only 1 employee. No blame towards the employee, but there were several issues beyond his control. i.e. One customer returned to desk to say her truck was blocked in by another. Customer rep was not free to go over to parking area as there was a long line up. There was another person there, but not sure if he was an employee. he was sent with customer who needed to move the truck as the person sent did not drive. (went to bring key back?). When we got to the parking lot, our van was also blocked in. I went back to office and customer rep was able to go over as no more line up. He came with all the keys he had and none matched the truck blocking us. He did check drop boxes as well. Seems keys were not dropped with truck. While we were waiting, another couple trying to pick up a trailer could not, as a prior customer took the wrong trailer. The customer rep managed to inch our van out for us, then had to go back to take care of the other couple. We were there for well over an hour.

The truck was clean. The Air conditioning did not work when turned on when on the road. Very challenging to drive in 32 c weather in a super heated cab while driving. Old vehicle has 12v equipment requiring flexing to maintain digital communication.

Haven't used U Haul for years but experience was great from booking to drop off. It was a 7 hour one way trip with the 16 foot car hauler. Trailer was in great shape with good tires, straps and was clean with nice LED lights. Price was great to compared to buying one and storing it for using it a couple times a year.

I had to go to different location to get the trailer. Crappy location and very tight to maneuver once in there. Too many obstacles and trailers just dropped off with no thought to the next person picking one up. Totally unorganized.

Office closed on at this location, office is around the corner at another dealer - suggest better communications for customers so they don't arrive at the location with the closed office and then need to find the other dealer.

The lot was jammed and I had to manoeuvre to get the trailer out, which ended up being hooked to a trailer behind it. No one came out to help so I was left to my own devices. No customer service at all!!!

The trucks were parked so tightly that it was impossible to take pre pictures. My U-Haul was left with an 1/8 of a gas tank and I would find out that the roof leaks once I arrived at my destination.

Truck doors weren’t locked when we took the truck from the lot and there was a bunch of garbage in the cabin as well as some debris in the cargo area.

Everything went great and it was a clean and well maintained unit, we just wish we didn't have to go to two different places for pick up (1 for the trailer, the other for paperwork). Should all be done in one spot.

The amount of equipment available has greatly improved since my last rental, but infortunately the parking area is worse than ever with large potholes that could easily be filled and packed down with a little attention. The online reservation and checkout system is excellent, making it easy to select, reserve and pay for all the necessary equipment and extras.

I have rented Uhauls in the past from various locations. This particular location, by comparison, is very well run, very organized. This location has a very spacious and easy to access compound for their equipment. The gentleman that runs the location is excellent! Very pleasant, friendly, organized and knowledgeable. This location and operation could be a model for other locations.
