Haven't used U Haul for years but experience was great from booking to drop off. It was a 7 hour one way trip with the 16 foot car hauler. Trailer was in great shape with good tires, straps and was clean with nice LED lights. Price was great to compared to buying one and storing it for using it a couple times a year.

The only thing was the check out provided on line kicked me out half way of completing it and couldn't abd go back to finish the process.

I had to go to different location to get the trailer. Crappy location and very tight to maneuver once in there. Too many obstacles and trailers just dropped off with no thought to the next person picking one up. Totally unorganized.

Office closed on at this location, office is around the corner at another dealer - suggest better communications for customers so they don't arrive at the location with the closed office and then need to find the other dealer.

The lot was jammed and I had to manoeuvre to get the trailer out, which ended up being hooked to a trailer behind it. No one came out to help so I was left to my own devices. No customer service at all!!!

The trucks were parked so tightly that it was impossible to take pre pictures. My U-Haul was left with an 1/8 of a gas tank and I would find out that the roof leaks once I arrived at my destination.

Truck doors weren’t locked when we took the truck from the lot and there was a bunch of garbage in the cabin as well as some debris in the cargo area.

Everything went great and it was a clean and well maintained unit, we just wish we didn't have to go to two different places for pick up (1 for the trailer, the other for paperwork). Should all be done in one spot.

The amount of equipment available has greatly improved since my last rental, but infortunately the parking area is worse than ever with large potholes that could easily be filled and packed down with a little attention. The online reservation and checkout system is excellent, making it easy to select, reserve and pay for all the necessary equipment and extras.

I have rented Uhauls in the past from various locations. This particular location, by comparison, is very well run, very organized. This location has a very spacious and easy to access compound for their equipment. The gentleman that runs the location is excellent! Very pleasant, friendly, organized and knowledgeable. This location and operation could be a model for other locations.

There was no key in the lockbox when I went to pick up my package. I stood outside in the freezing cold for 45 minutes, enduring temperatures of -3 degrees Celsius. The service was absolutely terrible.

Trailer lights stopped working in the middle of the night. I had to fix them on the side of the road in the dark. When I asked about possible reimbursement, I was told to talk to head office. Which I will be contacting tomorrow upon my return home.

I ended up spending way more money because a truck was not available in the location I reserved. Even leading up to the date of my move, the locations listed in orangeville said the 15 ft truck was available for reservation, which is very frustrating. I ending up having to reserve a truck in Barrie to drive all the way to orangeville to load then drive another 1.5hrs to Orillia and a drop off location wasn't available in Barrie so I had to also get someone to meet me to drop the truck in Orillia then to drive to the Barrie location to pick up my personal truck that I had to leave at the pick up location. Definitely didn't make my move very easy and caused a lot of unnecessary extra driving on a day where it was very stormy and poor visibility. The locations for both pick up and drop off were easy to use with the 24/7 availability but availability of the truck required was definitely not happy about, also to find out 2 days before my move after booking a month prior was not overly impressed with.

More thorough inspection on the vehicles condition. I moved my daughter in a snowstorm and the windshield wipers were absolutely horrible especially the drivers one. Things like this need to be definitely looked at before a customer takes the truck especially someone who’s not used to driving in the winter. Other than that I was very pleased.

The truck was leaking and all our belongings got soaked. The vehicle was extremely hard on gas. Location was fine but the truck was garbage and I would not recommend to friends or family.

Provide snowbrush in cab. Vehicle was covered in snow when picked up. Rear door and latch was frozen shut. Required buckets of hot water to open. Consider using antifreeze on mechanism.

your employees should know how to; Be more on the ball with prepping vehicles. Clean the vehicles. cups, wrappers, banana peals left in the vehicle. Know how to operate the vehicle. know how to close the hood and scrape off the vehicle before renting it out.

Lights not working; lift door has seen better days. The process was not straightforward as the office is at a different than the pickup point and only the pickup lot is in the u-haul address book. Confusing and I couldn’t check in online because of the 2 sites

Again from start to finish I called the book or so I thought when I got there, they didn’t have a booking for me. They just told me where the trailer was available. I had to set up the app and go through the whole process, the attendant had to call his boss to get him to walk him through on how to do it. I wanted to go pick up a trailer ended up, taking an hour to do that you need to go back to the old school and offer Customer service you don’t offer customer service anymore at all not even a little bit

I called on our holiday Monday to ask if I could drop off the trailer today rather than Tuesday, they said not here. I asked do you mean not here today or not here period, the answer I think was not here. (accent was rather thick so it was hard to understand) I spoke to customer service and they said to drop it off Tuesday and there would be no issue. At the compound there was no office and I had to call a number, I got VM. While wondering what to do next, I received a call back shortly after and the gentleman knew who was calling and said drop off the trailer, no need to do anything else. A bit of confusion with the return but it all worked out.

This has nothing to do with the location. I hate that I have to do all the work and pay what I do. It’s too expensive considering I have to take all the photos and make note of the kms and gas level. I should be getting a discount for that

Don't rip people off . I didn't end up using the truck to move . Customer service said close the contract to the clerk at 19 ann street . He still charged my credit card and charged me for gas when I put more gas than the truck came with . Crooks

Staff very helpful to drop off, solved fuel issue from pick up location with our supplied pictures of gauge and mileage. A very good experience, made up for the issues I had picking up the truck. Would definitely recommend.
