Moe was extremely courteous, friendly, and patient (even when I accidentally put that I needed a truck for 4 hours instead of 2 days like I intended. How I mixed that up, I still don’t know). He worked with me and was able to still help me get a truck for the time frame I needed, which was extremely lucky for me. Thank you for making what could have been a screeching halt in my moving day go smoothly!

This location was ideal. My winning experience was the gentleman that worked the morning of 12/14/19 and checked me out. He was so polite, offered humor and empathy for my headache that I had on that morning. Rarely do you find people that actually appear to care about your well being and business. That definitely solidified me as a patron to this UHaul.

The U-Haul mobile app. proved to be the worst app. I've ever used. It makes a stressful event like moving 100 times worse. The only task that can be completed is the reservation itself. If one wants to make a pickup location change, pickup the truck, cancel a reservation or return the truck, the app. link is absolutely useless. This needs to be fixed desperately. I would seriously consider never renting from U-Haul again after this experience.

The people were very nice don't have anything negative to say about them. The u-haul itself was just expensive especially for a in-town move and the fact you literally have to park the trucks yourself and including backing it in,If you not an experienced driver then it will definitely suck

Staff was curt and there was a mix up with a prior reservation. I had rented a the truck and was walking out to the parking lot and a lady had reserved this truck on the app. She was not willing to let me leave because she had "Claimed" this truck and I was forced to go back inside and exchange the truck for a different one (same size truck). Employees did not handle the situation well and neither did the other customer. Truck was dirty on the inside and the dolly was not secured and kept rolling around when I pulled out of the parking lot.

This place and the owner is shady, be aware of that before you do business here! I would never recommend anyone coming here and this was the second time I dealt with them and it was confirmed in my last visit that they are swindlers. This is a wolf in sheep's clothing place definitely. They come off as caring but when you get your recipt you see a completely different bill then what it was supposed to be. All I'm saying is if you value your dignity and money stay away from this place. I may not be able to save my money but I can save yours.

I called at 4:00 to inform the store manager that I was running a few minutes behind. My contract was through 4:30 pm. I arrived at 5:05 and was charged for an extra day. I have used this location more than 5 times for business purposes. I explained the multi uses from that location and was charged for a second day. I will likely not return. I have managed multiple retail locations as a flooring manager. Now I am a territory manger and call on over 100 accounts and explained to the manager that I moved Displays and samples between store locations. I would never have double charged a multi use customer for 30 minutes. By the way, I was delayed picking up the truck in the morning and did not leave with truck until 8:45.

I have rented only one previous time. The attendant on duty this particular day (Mo), was very professional and friendly. He even helped me manage closing the order out through my app. This kind of service~ professional and friendly guidance in the process~ is greatly appreciated.

Make self check in a lot easier, the website wouldn't let me upload a pic of the trailer after I was there 30 min trying to check my equipment in, I left and came home and it still wouldn't let me do it at home, very very disappointed, also the right light on the trailer wasn't working and the trailer didn't have a connection cord I had to use one from another trailer

I feel the week end mileage rate of $1.19 is excessive considering the weekday rate is only $0.69. Same equipment so why do you need to jack up the price by $0.50 a mile. I could have used the $37.00 that it cost me because of the higher week end charge.

The equipment was fine, my issue is drop off. I was told if I didn’t log into the U-Haul app to return equipment I would be charged a $20 fee, that was an absolute surprise to me. I had issues with the app apparently never got it fully checked in because I was charged the $20 “after hours “charge even though I returned the equipment well before the store closed. Additionally, I originally reserved 24 packing pads but only took 12 with me, I have been charged for all 24. I have a email into customerservice trying to get a refund on the additional fees. Totally dissatisfied.

Worst experience of my life. Owner was EXTREMELY RUDE. At one point he approached my wife shouting and very aggressive to the point I had to step in front of him shouting back and warning him to back off and stay away from my wife. She called and filed a complaint. My formal written complaint will follow this week after I receive a promised call from a customer service manager.

I dropped off the truck and the guy told me I had to pay an additional 60 something dollars because we put 150 miles on the truck. I told him that was impossible because I picked it up in Danville and dropped off in Greensboro, which is only 50 miles. He told me to go check the mileage myself but I insisted there was no way we put that many miles on it. My boyfriend was about to show him the pictures of the gas and mileage levels when we picked it up that morning but then he said he typed the information wrong and we were ok. I truly think he was trying to get over on us. Thank goodness my boyfriend took pictures as proof. I will never use this location again. BEWARE!!

We rated the truck for 10 hours. Pickup time was 8am, and it was ready, full of gas, and waiting for us. We ran into issues beyond our control and it took longer than we thought. I called the office to let them know we would be late. He was very courteous, said that would be fine, no problem, we would just be charged a late fee. We were an hour and 39 minutes late and he charged us a late fee alright: a full extra day and extra day's insurance. If that's the standard "late fee", then no problem, but as I was walking in to pay, he told this cute little black girl that he charged everyone else $1.19 per mile, but he would let her have it for $.79 per mile. That told me that racism is alive and well at Uhaul. Would I recommend this place to my friends, and will we use it again? Probably, but I'll make sure we add several extra hours to the time so we can get it back early, and tell my friends to do the same.

The customer service was atrocious- the woman I first met was ok but the truck wasn’t prepared with the equipment I needed when I first arrived. I came back later in the day to see if I could drop my car off so when I dropped the uhaul off later in the day I would have a way to get home. That man flat out told me no and that he didn’t care about my vehicle and that I had to figure it out. When I finally returned the truck, the man I returned it to made me single handedly carry all of the supplies back into the store- over all, it was ridiculous how difficult they made the entire day.

I was told rental rate of $19.95 and miles rate 0.59. I was not told about $10 charge of CDW but it was added in my final invoice. I already had my insurance and it includes Liability CDW and all other items of insurance. Then why should i have paid $10. I need the amount of $10 reverted as i did not avail and did not wanted it. I raise a request with reference # 2270666 but so far i have not seen any credit of $10.

Truck needed cleaning and sweeping. Turns out existing damage to tow dolly wasn't reported. Reserved appliance dolly wasn't available, so had to purchase one. No assistance in hooking up tow dolly, no safety/lighting check, no damage check. Paid, was handed keys and contract and told "Truck and dolly are over there”. Too busy attending the counter/cash register to be bothered with anything more. Not the level of service what I've come to expect form uhaul.

Person at counter was confrontational and difficult. When we returned it - first question was - where did you park it? Then acted like we should have known where to park it (no signage or instructions provided). After that he immediately started questioning why there was less than 1/2 a tank of gas. Tried to show him that we picked it up with slightly above 1/4 tank of gas and then he was questioning whether the mark on the gauge on the contract was placed there by U-haul or by us. I pointed out that underneath on the printout it showed that it had 5/16ths of a tank of gas when we rented it (which is slightly above 1/4 of a tank) and we were returning it with almost 1/2 a tank. Then rudely said "fold those and bring them in" pointing to the furniture pads. I understand if that is a requirement fine but there are more professional ways of communicating that requirement. After he looked things up on the computer he did an about face and became more pleasant. Not sure what happened there! I would highly recommend finding a different location!!! I had read the negative reviews and had concerns beforehand but decided how bad could it be - we were only dropping off, besides it was close by. But immediately regretted that decision!

No one should rent from or drop off at this location. The individual who identifies himself as the owner of the location is rude, shady and threatening. Stay away from this place. U-Haul should not use this location as an agent representing U-Haul.

I rented 2 trucks a 20ft with a trailer and a 15ft when It was time to return the equipment the attendant asked ME to unhook the trailer and push it halfway through her gas station while cars and other customers where pumping gas it was a dangerous situation and I ended up cutting my finger after all that she asked me to backup the truck and park it where it’s supposed to be parked I have never experienced that at any other U-Haul place it just left a bad taste in my mouth as we where going out after dropping the trucks but I was too sweaty to go any where
