My truck did not start when I arrived. The rep was able to give me another truck but when I return d the truck 2 hours later the location had closed early and I was unable to return the truck through the mobile service. Overall I had to call customer service 3 times and it was a very frustrating experienceKatrina S.
I did not see this until after the check-in process was complete. As I was returning the truck, there was no place for me to note this. There were moving blankets in the shelf space above the cab, there was a lock in the back of the truck that was either broken or locked open. Anyway, I did not use any of these blankets and did not move any of them... As far as the check-in/check-out process goes, it was a little confusing, next time I would probably go to a location that had a service counter. I was going to mention the issue with the blankets to the gentleman that gave me the keys, but EZ Smog looked all locked up for lunch.Mark G.

Check out and return rising the self service was horrible. I showed early to make sure I can check out the vehicle in person. But, it was changed to self checkout and the entire process was too long and confusing. Horrible experience!!!Joshua P.

Self picked-up keep crashing on IOS device. Call CS then transfer me 24/7 department then they realize my reservation cancelled and had to transfer me back to reservation department. Took me 2 hours to fix my reservation. Then I can't use I iPhone to initiate pick up process due to â€œunexpected Eorrrâ€ and I have to drive back home to get my android phone. Then the app keep loading into blank page, took me a dozen try to finally get to check in process. Took me three hours in total from drive to location and leave with a truck. Worst UI and user experience from your APP ever!Handong L.

I had made a reservation for a cargo van about five days before, but when I checked in at the U-Haul store, I was told that there was no van available there. The clerk had to make a call to find out where was a van available for me. There was one van available at a different location. I went there and the location was a mix of businesses, not just U-Haul. The clerk said the only way to get the van was to go through an online process on my mobile device. It was a lengthy process. I had a negative experience, I didn't like it.Enriqueta S.

I booked a reservation online. I didn't use the app. The workers at this location insisted they couldn't help me unless I loaded and used the app. The staff aren't trained in simple customer service tasks like confirming a reservation number and renting out and checking in a truck. Also, the location was supposed to remain open until 3pm. I returned at 1pm to drop off the truck and found the place deserted. So the app worked fine. The humans were useless.joseph B.

I reserved a truck with a furniture dolly. I was called shortly after reserving the truck and the representative stated they did not have any but would give me a hand truck . I agreed . Then on pick up they did not have any furniture dolly's or hand trucks . They only had a utility Dollie's. Then when the rep loooked for a dolly he could not find any .Kevin L.

One cannot continue renting a UHaul without having knowledge of a computer at this location. One is required to do it ourselves on line. The Gary UHAUL never let us know that the Chino location operated in this manner. Horrible!!!!Martha D.

I rented a trailer for 24 hours, returned it within 6 hours, they charged me for 2 daysâ€¦I was told if they weren't open to leave the trailer in the parking lot and that's what I did, and then they turned around and charged me an extra dayâ€¦shady locationLEWIS C.

Harassment when I didn't turn in the trailer at the time my contract stated, threatened by some kid named Ryan to be banned from Uhaul, all with me trying to get back from a 13 hour round trip to move in 1 day- woke up to this. Worst experience I've ever had-Omar D.

I registered online and received a call from the place of pick up to confirm pick up. Upon picking it up it was a hassle due to U-Haul process and online issues. Ryan at the pick up location was amazing though and assisted in resolving an issue.GREGORY R.
I had trouble signing on to pick up my rental and no one on the premises would help me and told me I had to call cust svc for help . I was supposed to pick up my rental at 8:30am and after trying to sign in and then having to wait 30min to speak to a cust svc rep who still was unable to guide me on website my son was able to log in on his phone and pick up rental. Crystal the service rep was helpful. Then we found out the rental had no gas. NEVER AGAIN will use that location or mobile rental.Alfred G.

I was sent to EZ Smog U-Haul location from the Ontario location and it took me 3 hours to get the vehicle. First, the location was already closed and the guy at the Ontario office didn't even tell me. He was all over the place... I had to use the app to get the vehicle. Second, I kept calling customer service because the app kept telling me they weren't able to get my location. Such a mess... I ended up getting the vehicle waaay after the time I expected to get the dam thing.Magaly C.

The staff present were very unhelpful. When I had issues checking in for a 10ft box that was listed as available, they told me there was nothing they could do to help me. I had to ask another customer on how to proceed to check in, and the customer was more helpful guiding me through the process. Staff continuously answered â€œI don't knowâ€ and when I asked to speak to a manager the person informed me, â€œHe doesn't know eitherâ€ and â€œWe are learning all thisâ€ and refused to call a supervisor over. We spent more than an hour asking for help and guidance and the staff refused to assist.Elmer L.

This survey doesnt ask about what you had to go through before hand. I reserved a truck through Havasu which the gentleman was excellent in helping us. We reserved this 2 weeks prior. On Friday 7/22 someone called us and confirmed a truck will be ready 7/23 8:00 am at Best Outdoor Power inland Rancho Cucamonga. When we walked in @ 8am the lady was on the phone regarding our 26 ft truck. she said it wasnt available it was downed for inspection.(new truck mind you) talked to Trevor got another story from him. The truck was brought in night before broken down. we were offered 2 10 ft trucks no good. them wait until noon maybe a 15 foot. or go to apple valley and maybe get a 26 ft there. no good. We were sent to Holt blvd ontario. By this time we were hopping mad. Thanks To craig bless his heart which by the way was the most helpful out of anyone weve delt with,, he was able to work things out for us. said to go back to Rancho and get our truck. about 1 mile up the road we get a call from TREVOR and HIS BOSS KEN (Not helpful whatsoever just lied to us 3 times) Told us no it wasnt available.So, I called Craig and told him what happened. He was determined to get us taken care of. So, We ended up picking up a truck in Chino (which they were very helpful) come to find out in the long run our original truck was given to someone whose truck broke down the night before. our truck was swiped out from underneath us. no call no warning just lies. we traved 265 miles 3 1/2 hr drive to pick up this truck so we can empty out our storage and bring it back home. we had a 3 hr delay with this fiasco and all we got was a 50.00 credit. NEXT TIME WE ARE GOING TO PENSKE OR HERTZ for which we found out is a common occurance with these certain people. DO NOT DEAL WITH BEST OUTDOR POWER INLAND, TREVOR , OR KEN. JUST GO TO PENSKE OR HERTZ instead or if you have to use uhaul go to Craig in Ontario, or ChinoRoger H.

This pick up location was a JOKE!! HORRIBLE!! from start to FINISH! I would not recommend for you to use this location as a p/u and or drop off. Their C/S is UNACCEPTABLE! I should have taken a pic of the little sign they have @ the counter, which speaks volumes of their etiquette.Rosala G.

The parking situation is literally impossible. There is no street parking available and the facility does not allow you to park on their lot while you rent the truck. Maybe provide a shuttle to the nearest street parking or make arrangements with a neighbor with a lot for some spaces for their uhaul customers. If it were not for the parking situation, everything was perfect.Christian E.

I had a rear blow out 2 hours from the pick up place. The number on the visor for roadside help was almost worthless. I called it and it said 30 min wait, I waited 30 mins and the line hung up. My wife 20 hrs away got a hold of somone the reported it to get me help on the side of interstate 205 in Oregon. The company that came to help with the blown tire was great, He called to verify the problem and where I was.and how long till he got there.Jeff W.

the girl at the front desk was terrible in explaining after hours.. she said if i would return truck after the cut off time i would be charge 20.00 i was charge an entire day..when i rushed the truck back same day.. i could have used it longer.. when i called office to talk to the young lady she was rude and dismissive and told me i should have read contract.. can someone please call me 909-782-9010.. i was a couple of hours late but to be charge two days its insane..Sara R.
