The location (and staff) I went to made the best of a terrible situation put on them by the Uhaul corporate office. You see, their server capabilities were not up to the required level of the anticipated traffic for a Saturday in the height of moving season. Multiple agents I talked to on my rental day said the same thing. The Uhaul servers always crash on Saturdays. This tells me they DDoS'ed themselves from too much traffic. This made me rather mad. As I went to a different storage location that serviced Uhaul trucks. Their, I had to wait over an hour and a half to get my reservation from two weeks prior to be authorized. I was asked to download the Uhaul app at the pickup location and enter in information that I could have entered in previously. That was not communicated to me. I could have probably shown up earlier as that storage location was open an hour prior to when the website said I could have shown up. WORSE, was after an hour and a half of waiting on their system to process my info, I was given a code to a lock box to get the key for the truck I could see in the parking lot. MADDENINGLY that code did not work. I tried multiple tweaks to enter it to align the letters to open the lock. Another customer their even tried it too with me, confirming I wasn't crazy. The zoomed-in/virtual agent at this storage place thankfully canceled that dispatch. She helped me to find another location that might have the 10 foot truck I needed for a simple morning move. That location was the referenced Falcon storage. The STAFF at FALCON Storage was AMAZING. When I first got in there, the agent said they did not have the 10 foot truck. The other agent thought this because again Uhaul's system is trash and was down all morning. So she was going off a backup. Thankfully, they noticed they had another truck that just needed to be turned around from a dropoff just about an hour earlier. They were able to get me on my way. Sadly, I wasted 2 hours of my day. (and the other folks assisting). I am really going to go out of my way to try to find another truck rental service in the future. Despite the borderline oligopoly this outdated terrible company has. Uhaul, fix your dam servers. This situation should not have been.

You can honor your damn estimates. My wife ordered the truck on line with an initial estimate of less than $600 and when I picked it up it amazingly jumped to over $1000. Way to screw over your customers. We are also not happy that we ordered from a location we previously used and then it was transferred to another location without so much as a courtesy call to let us know. And then to top it off, when i went to drop it off at the specified location, it was closed even though it was supposed to be open, and I had to take it to another location. I sure hope I never have to use you again. I can assure you I will never recommend you to others and will be posting negative comments on social media.

You can add straps and blankets to your uhauls. Inventory them so they dont get stolen..but everybody can use them.

Had to wait for a jack to be brought out in order to get it off the hitch. Is there a reason why trailer don't come with a jack? Can this be an option in the future?

Ensure equipment is fully operational before handing over to customer. The U-haul representative and I did a functions check with me activating all signals and brakes and I was told that the equipment was good to go and allowed to depart location. While on the road I did a routine function check during a fuel stop and discovered that in fact a turn signal/brake light was inoperable. Roadside assistance, discovered that the wiring was a complete disaster. Wires were cut and dangling and not grounded and it was obvious that multiple repairs had been attempted in the past but nothing was done correctly. Having only one functional brake light and signal is not only a safety issue it is against the law. Also, the trailer was dirty and had to be swept out. It is apparent that this facility did not give due diligence to ensuring equipment was road worthy before releasing to customer.

I had a great experience renting a U-Haul auto transport trailer from the Falcon Self Storage U-Haul location in Falcon, CO. The whole process was quick, smooth, and very well organized. The office and property were clean and well maintained, which really stood out. This location clearly takes pride in running a well-organized U-Haul operation. Holly was friendly, professional, and had everything ready when I arrived, so pickup was fast and hassle-free. I normally skip leaving reviews and post-rental surveys, but this location really deserved the recognition. I’ll definitely be using this location again in the future and would recommend it to anyone needing U-Haul equipment in the Falcon area.

We've used Falcon Storage a number of times now for Uhaul trucks and a long-term storage unit. Everything has always been clean and safe. The staff is friendly and helpful. We'll definitely use them in the future and highly recommend Falcon Storage to anyone needing their services.

Disappointed that there were undisclosed fees for a one day extension at destination ($40/day ended up being $67/day due to additional insurance, location fees and taxes). The mileage was three miles over and should have been waved, because that is the distance from the gas station to the destination location.

There is a gate and with a 26 foot uhal there is no signage to say where to park this thing. States dont block entrances but doesn't give information where to correctly park

I hate the fact that if you use the app and has questions or need something that they can’t help You at all at the location in person … you have to call someone. The app is NOT user friendly and has its hiccups

Check engine light on for fuel cap .. wonder how much money i wasted on extra gas. Cab hasn't been wiped down in a while. I dont even know if I got charged for the blankets i selected in my reservation that weren't in the truck. Lady hands me a key and says its out in the lot.... where theres 20 something other trucks, and is the size of 3 football fields. Didnt even tell me how to know which one to look for... Just a terrible experience. Returned on sunday, Noone in office....had to park it in the road because there were 5 other returned trucks that clogged the non-existent parking outside the gate. I felt like I needed to get an employee discount after literally doing everything involved with the reservation. I will be using a different company next time.

We have rented/picked up from this location earlier this week the personnel was very helpful and friendly and very pleasant and straight forward. I gave 5 stars and responded yes to the other questions because of this encounter. Dropping off at this location-I called in advance to let the representative know we were on our way and had to stop to fill up the tank as it was close to our drop off time and she stated we were fine. We arrived to drop off, the rep was not pleasant appeared to be disturbed about something and felt rushed and indicated my receipt would be emailed. Our receipt showed an extra day charge, no mentions of this on the phone reason I called before drop off. I then called to inquire on my receipt the extra day charge and the rep appeared that I was arguing with her and the charge is what it is. Very disappointed as we rent from uhaul once a year and this location is about 5 min from our home. If the extra day charge would have been communicated directly I would not be addressing this matter. I truly understand bad days at work. The disappointing customer service at drop off and and phone call does not sit well with us. We will have to consider another location next year. Thank you for your business!

Picking up the truck was a nightmare. We were supposed to get the truck at 0800. No keys were left. Which made everything delayed.

I only did a after hours drop off. That experience was great. The only recommendation I would have is expand the parking area outside of the gates. There were only 6 spaces and with a 20 ft Uhaul it was a bit tight.
