Clearer signs of where the counter is would be nice. It's in the way back of the store btw. Not happy with gas charge for 2 gallons when your gauge marks are not exact and subject to interpretation. There is also nothing showing HOW many total Gallons the tank holds to even attempt to mathematically divide. You should change your policy to full tank out full on return like every other rental! Not this 11/16s or 5/8s. Ridiculous.

James GThis location actually has the equipment there and hours of operation with people there. Some others in this area have one or the other making it difficult to obtain the equipment. I drive a little further to go to Farmville Sporting Goods but it's worth it. Stress free and friendly service.

Marshall GThe only complaint is the poor headlight quality made night driving difficult. It would be wise to inspect headlights for vehicles 6 years or older.
James CI checked off the truck as being clean during the check in process, then when I got in to drive I could barely see out the windshield. Receiving location obviously did not check this truck when it was brought back. The off-hours check-in process was very cumbersome, and complicated by the fact that cell phone service is very limited at this location. So uploading photos, etc. took a very ling time. The lockboxes were not clearly marked so I had to search for them. The location did not have any blankets, although I had reserved and paid for 12. Their only help was to tell me that there was another U-Haul down the road. When I asked about a refund, their only help was "just call UHaul and they'll take care of it". Not too interested in customer support.

Robert KI reserved a 26” truck for a specific location. 3 days later U haul contacted me to switch my pickup location. I confirmed the location change. I received and email also confirming the location change (it listed the 26” truck). When I went to pick up they only had a 20” truck available and in the U haul system my reservation had been changed to a 20”. That was not what I need but that is all that was available. That caused me to have to make additional trips to load items which also caused increased mileage that I had to pay for and me having the truck longer. I feel I should receive some type of compensation.
KANDRA LHonestly got to deal with the most helpful salesman who was quick at checking out the truck, and the check in process was quick and easy, good folks down there at farmville sporting goods, used the truck for what I needed and they helped every step
Stephen HOverall Online Experience: 2/5 Navigating through U-Haul's online platform proved to be overly complex and ineffective. From reserving to drop off, the process felt frustrating and time-consuming, to the point where I had to go to a 2nd location to get a truck, because there was no option to pick up the reserved truck at the first location and they were closed. Regrettably, this frustrating experience casts doubt on the likelihood of using U-Haul's services again in the future.

tyrek gFarmville Sporting goods was awesome. The U-Haul company first had me at Bula Fiji Mart at 1605 West Third St. FarmVille, Va. with a phone number of : 434-808-0760. I was scheduled to pick the truck up at 9 am and at 9:30 they had never opened the store. I called FarmVille Sporting goods and he was extremely helpful helping me to cancel the first rental and to rent the truck. I would never recommend Bula Figi mart and as far as I am concerned, U-Haul should take away those privileges to rent the stuff for U-Haul. I cannot say enough nice things about FarmVille Sporting goods. They are a keeper!!!

ERNEST MIt's very unsettling to wait inside a gun store to rent a truck. The sign on the door warns: "No masks allowed. This is NOT a gun-free zone! Guns SAVE lives." I signed up for a contactless rental, but the salesman said he had to do it in person. I had to wait 15 minutes while he sold a pistol to one couple and helped another customer with a small assault gun. He was actual quite nice and helpful, but the shop-owner's policies and the store itself were disturbing. I will not go back there again, ever.

Paul SThe worst customer service I have ever experienced. Disgusting backwoods drop off location. RUDE unintelligible staff. Charged me for mileage when contract stated unlimited miles. Don't worry, I got my money refunded. Select another location for drop off. This is just a filthy pawn shop that smells heavily of gasoline inside who don't care about returning U-Haul trucks or customer service. What more could you expect from a lame pawn shop.

Biil AThis was not a pleasant experience. While the location was perfect I discovered when I visited this location early the truck did not have the blankets I ordered or the 2 dollies. This location did not want to be bothered with helping me. I drove across town and found only 5 blankets and 1 dolly at a different dealer. After 5 phone calls I finally got the Virginia Field Manager who promptly got me the 60 blankets I ordered and another dolly. The equipment worked fine and all the UHaul reps tried to be helpful. But 5 calls to resolve the issue? The dealer at this location just did not care.

Richard WThe only issue I had was we were charged for 7 gallons of fuel when we actually had more fuel in truck then it had when we picked up the truck. But I contacted uhaul customer service and they refunded the money charged. I was happy with the service.
Pam RThe location closed at 2:00pm on Saturday. For a one-day rental such as mine this is not practical, and apparantly resulted in a late fee being assessed even though I had discussed when I would bring it back at the time of pick up. There was no menton of a late fee at the time but it is in the contract which I did not read (by email) until later.
