My reservation was originally for a different location closer to my move. I arrived on time and had to wait over an hour for the mart to open. I left after waiting an hour and received a call about an hour after I left to inform me that my reservation was moved to a different location. Overall, terrible service for the first location and added mileage to pivot to a different location.

Lower the cost of mileage charges for the frequent renters. I rent Uhaul trucks & van 2-3 times a week.

EDGARDO AFriendly, fast and mostly helpful employee. He tried to claim there was new damage ( there wasn't and the truck had almost 100,000 miles). When I told him there was no damage and paid for insurance, he dropped the issue quickly. Hate to think what he would have tried had I not gotten the insurance. Felt like a scam was coming. Otherwise things went fine

LINDA HThe driver door of the truck I rented had difficulty closing. The roll up door lock needs to be lubricated. It was difficult to close. The personnel were efficient, and pleasant.
ROBERT CTrailer had a completely broken/detached rear gate spring anchor on the right side which would get jammed in the roll-top gate and make it impossible to move until one fished around and got the dangling component unstuck. Staff in San Leandro were entirely uninterested in this defect. I had to document it so they wouldn’t blame me for breaking it and charge me for the repair. Also, please start loading empty trailers onto semis in OR and other destination locations and truck them back to CA - there are almost no one way trailers available in CA.

Manuel JNot charge deposit for in town rentals. Website does not say you have to pay a deposit. But when you go into the location your told a $200 deposit is required even though it’s a local rental not more than 8 miles. I will not use your services anymore.

THERESA WWe reserved for pick up in Concord, our reservation was changed a day prior with no way to change it back. In the middle of a stressful move we no we’re forced to drive 40 minutes each way to an inconvenient location that also made us wait bs the location we reserved which was 5 minutes away. This was done twice to us. Really makes me question renting from usual. Moving is hard enough without the stress of going to pick up a larger trailer in a city you’re not familiar with in a sketchy city.

JACQUELINE SThis Location was fine. But, I was extremely disappointed that this was the pickup location assigned for my rental - it was over 1.5 hours away with traffic. And, when I picked up the trailer, they had no Appliance Dollies available, so I had to scramble to find one - which ended up being the UHaul location closest to my home.
