The drive train had a bad vibration and wouldn't go into high gear until I let off the gas and let it coast of awhile. It made that all that counts.ROBERTWOODARD S.
The uhaul had paper in the back everywhere. The drop off is so far from where I live. I called the guy working there if the drop off is the same as pick up and it wasnt turns out I could have traved 5miles instead of 44mil to drop off.lorenzo K.

My truck was gross and had dog poop and trash all in the back. Which delayed my loading the truck due to cleaning it first. And when I returned my truck they said I would receive a new total which didn't happen because there wasn't anyone there when I returned my truck.Gabriel L.

I called the 1-800 customer service number and requested assistance with receiving credit for mileage approximately 60-80 that I travelled as a result of the original location not having the equipment. I was on the road with my brother and his wife. We were traveling with mom trying to get hwr home after our dad past away while they were pit of town. Mom made it only so far and couldnt drive. Their computer kept giving them an error message. My husband had to get somebody on the phone and we had to have them call the regional office to get things straightened out. It took us an hour to get the truck.Anthony C.
I hooked up the first trailer by myself in the rain, then when checking the lights realized the trailer wiring harness was missing a prong and I had no turn signal. So I went back in and was advised to try a different trailer so I unhooked the first and hooked up 2nd. As I'm checking everything I realize the door does not latch on the second trailer and I can't risk having my stuff get stolen or loose on the interstate, so I end up unhooking and hooking up a 3rd trailer- all of this in the rain, with no help.Chad R.

Location is a liquor store with one on-duty clerk. Vehicles are parked in a gravel lot next to / behind the store. It was self service as far as picking up the trailer (which had a lot of dirt on the inside), and dropping off the trailer (difficult to move the trailer in the gravel once detached). Trailer was left clean.Donald R.
When I picked up the truck he just basically handed me the keys and paperwork and that was it, when I returned the truck I made sure to put the gas gauge back to where it showed on the paperwork even tho it wasn't there when I picked the truck up. I was hoping to drop it off at another location but was told it would double the price. Overall I am happy that I am done moving and glad I don't need to rent a u-haul again. Might just bite the bullet and get a Penske or anything else next time.DENNISCHARLES V.
Poorly ran location took entirely to long to get checked out and had to hook up trailer myself and had to make sure tires had air and lights worked which 2 of them did not and the roof of it leaked water inside and got our belongings wetROBERT B.
Clerk was pleasant and helpful but location was also a convenient store so my transaction was interupted with clerk handling customers with store purchases not related to uhaul. Would have been better if had two people working one for uhaul and one for store customers.sharon G.

Credit card terminal was down which complicated things. We were lucky to have enough cash to put a $100 down payment. All in all, a good experience.William P.
I reserved a furniture dolly along with the trailer, but when i picked up there was no dolly. This created a delay of more than an hour in beginning my move, as I had to drive to a Home Depot to rent a dolly. If you don't have the reserved equipment, you should notify the customer 24 hours in advance, so other arrangements can be made. This was a major inconvenience, and I may never rent from U Haul again because of it.Christopher W.

I expected a 6Ã—12 trailor would have a 6ft. gate on it. The attendant where I picked it up didn't have a clue about the trailor. The trailor itself was clean and worked beautifully. I was picking up a 61" lawn mower and had to remove the mower deck to use the trailor. Made the job alot longer than it should have. ThanksRobert S.
Tried to use the app to document the beer bottle caps and the smell of cigarettes when I first got the truck, but when I tried to leave a description and photo, the app malfunctioned and wouldn't allow my camera to take a photo. This also happened when I tried to claim undocumented damage on the front passenger side. Seems like it could be a way to keep me from documenting up front so that they can charge me later.
