Craig MWas fairly happy overall but a little disappointed when it came to the gas situation. The pre-trip report stated that the gas was 100% full which the dashboard indicated as well. We only drove about 19 miles with no idling and somehow had to put $25 worth of gas to top it off before the return so that was frustrating
Adam GAfter removing my reservation several times it took me way longer to get the vehicle back, and I will obviously be charged for this time.
Wesley PI had issues since the utility dolly and furniture pads reserved were not provided, but I was charged for them. I also had issues picking up the truck after hours since the option wasn't available on the app. When I called U-Haul, the first attendant told me I had to try again on the web page, which didn't work. Since she didn't ask me to try while talking to her, I lost more than an hour to resolve the issue with another attendant—an awful experience.

Greg LThe mobile app is atrocious. It is full of bugs and crashes constantly. The tutorial videos do not actually reflect what the app looks like. The app is very confusing and unclear regarding mobile pickups and drop offs. I wasn’t even sure if the photos I uploaded were received because the app crashed before I could confirm the return and then prevented me from returning to the drop off process. This was also my experience picking up. It was a nightmare at the beginning and end of the rental and wasted a lot of my time.
Aaron FThe check engine light was on. The fuel cap was broken and was giving check fuel cap warning. Told the associate and he said they know about it and its fine. I told the fuel cap tie is broken too, he said thats fine just keep the lose fuel cap inside the cab!

Jordan DWhen you reserve a truck, have it! We were supposed to be getting a 10 foot truck but they didn't have it after they said they did and had to take a 15 foot truck. Way more gas even though they only charged us for a 10 foot. They also said they had one in Calgary sw and told us the day before they didn't have one. Not good service especially when they had about 10 sitting on the lot but would not give us one. They said they were only local.

NEVILLE AKaren and Barbara (I believe these are their names) were delights and a huge help! The U Haul location at 215 16th St SE absolutely bumbled our reservation, and this location was able to assist us on short notice and were instrumental to our successful move
Peter BPerhaps a sticker for the customers reminding people to fill their tank back to its original level before delivering beside the steering wheel, it seems a bit of scam to charge people so much to fill the tank back up if they forget. With moving and all people are quite stressed so I bet quite a lot forget or a smaller penalty. It seems like a money grabbing scheme.

BRIDGET BCome up with a better Uhaul app. The current app is clunky, slow and annoying to use. I ended up going inside rather than fight with the app.
David SThis location was great - in spite of an error reading the odometer on the truck; it was eventually corrected and the difference refunded. However the truck gave the same vibes as other uhauls I’ve driven: Felt dirty in the cab (but the back was swept) and the truck felt abused. Made worn-out sounds while driving and the steering wheel was not aligned with centre. However, that is basically what I’ve come to expect from a uhaul. The bar isn’t high. I’m frustrated that I reserved a truck at a location 30km away (closer to my move) but was called to follow up and told that location no longer existed. (But was still available on the website) I expressed frustration that it would now cost me more to drive the extra distance (@$1.10/km) but was told there was “nothing we could do about that”. The person on the phone only wanted to end the call as quickly as possible. She asked if I was “okay with switching the rental to this location”. And my answer was “not really but begrudgingly yes since I don’t have a better option”. This location did their best to salvage an already not-awesome booking experience. But my overall experience was very “meh” Uhaul corporate: 2.5 - 3 stars. Location: 4 stars.

Bernard YMale old employee at the location spam calls me constantly harassing me to bring the uhaul back 10hrs into the rental. When I rent something for the day. That’s 24 hours I don’t need no sheep employee spam calling me to bring it back when I’m busy moving. This was the 2nd time now this has happened from the same employee. Not sure what is name is but he’s old and annoying. Horrible customer service.
REID BI made an online booking in advance and got an amount of about $58, but when I arrived at the location they gave me a preliminary invoice of more than $115, which is 2 times more than I expected. Also, when booking, it was not indicated that I would have to pay for fuel. The car was far from perfect condition. Once after parking, I tried to remove the parking brake for 15 minutes, but this was still a challenge due to the poor condition of the car.

STANLEY PTheir computer system crashed in the morning, I didn’t feel good about leaving a photo copy of my credit card and license, but had no choice as they couldn’t access the information I provided online. The lady working at the counter is very friendly, respectful and courteous, I would give a full 5+ to her service. The van was dirty and had “need oil change “ message, other than it drives as expected , smooth as a tank lol!
