Make sure your web return link works. Despite having all settings on my phone correct (I double checked and confirmed that location settings were on), I was unable to use the return link. It could not find me parked in the rental lot. As a result, a "convenience fee" of $20.00 + taxes was added to my invoice. "Convenient" for U-Haul but definitely not for me.Trent P.

The truck was filthy inside and out, I don't think it's been cleaned inside forever the box was full of mud I slipped in the mud had to change my clothes and have to wash my coat and everything now because I got covered in mud every time I used it. The lady at the checkout said just put a tarp down over the mud. Very unhappy every other time I have used your company things were great. Very disappointedRichard S.

Truck had less that 1/4 tank of fuel so I had to fill up before leaving. There was zero indication where the lock box was located. The truck was parked so close to the next truck that the mirrors were interlocked. The damage pictures were not accurate. I rented for two days. Returned it after one day with double the fuel it had and never received a credit. Lots of little things...but seems to be on par from my past experiences with u-haul.Colin J.

I was a little late for my 24/7 self service, so the process to check out wasn't working properly However, the U-Haul representative was able to check me out and get me on my way. He was very helpful and accommodating and deserves credit as it was before his official "start" time. The truck was clean and easy to drive out of the parking lot. The location was great. The call center that kept trying to move me to another location to pick up was annoying and nearly had me cancel my reservation. People are not equipment and the call center treats us like that. Move your trucks not the customers.Michael K.
I did top up the gas. It was not returned half full. Your system sucks. Give the renter a full tank instead of partial. Then there will not be any dispute. I suggest you reverse the extra gas price I was charged. The floor of the cab was filthy and disgusting. Do you always rent out dirty vehicles.Bill W.

People tend not to read more than is necessary and may have more pressing things on their mind. Make it more clear (visually) from the beginning that they are required to be at the location to use the dashboard and to take pictures BEFORE they return the keys. Also, some of the information like scanning the face, license, etc, could be asked ahead of showing up to make it more efficient.Trevor S.

I order a dolly in which can help me in moving but there is no dolly inside the truck. And the most shocking was it is still charged on my card. Can someone explained it to me. ThanksMervynne F.

I was told i had to fill the gas tank to Full when I returned back. When I got in the vehicle the gas gauge was probably about 1/8th away from full. When I arrived back I was told I should I have known to stop and tell them which I wasn't told in the store-i was told it was ready to go. I had booked this online days before. Should it not just have been ready? So I ended up paying $40 for gas for barely any use on top of the fees. I also was not told to check the mileage. Customer service should be more clear instead of skipping over the parts as if everyone knows how to use a uhaul.Danielle R.

Whoever it was that checked us in to rent the van was very unprofessional. We were setting everything up and when it came to paying we didn't have a credit card. We said our son had one and went to get him from the car. Their were other employees and other customers in the store and the employee serving us said â€œisn't that embarrassing when your child has to pay for youâ€. Very unacceptable to say such a thing out loud and make a customer feel badly. Nobody said our son was going to pay but even if he did- that was completely uncalled for. I don't expect an email back or a standard â€œwe apologize for thisâ€. Just teach your employees to not be so ridiculous and unprofessional.MARTINA S.

The young woman who served me was wonderful. The booking process was simple and easy and when I called the location, I was able to speak to someone instantly to answer my questions. Only feedback was I didn't completely know about the return process and dropped the keys in the return slot before I had walked through the text link return process. We drove back to the location to try to avoid the $20 convenience fee and were unable to do so without the key. Thanks to the kind staff we were not charged the fee and we will certainly book from this location again!Bryton U.

After we got stuck in snow they gave us the run around, the location said we had coverage, but gave us another number, we called the other number and they said we didn't, by the time we got the truck out they charged us for another day.
