While U-Haul makes it very clear that if you return the vehicle with less fuel than the original level, you will be charged, it is not equally clear that if you return the vehicle with more gas, you will not be refunded for the extra gas. This is a critical detail, in my opinion, that should be clearly stated and written boldly during the rental process and on the rental agreement. When some customers are shown the fuel gauge at pickup, they’re naturally cautious and often end up adding more gas than required, just to avoid being penalized. In my case, I filled the tank beyond what was originally indicated, even though I used the chart, but at the time of gas purchase I wasn't bothered, only to find out that the extra gas is non-refundable. I understand the policy, but it’s unfair that the emphasis is only placed on penalties for underfilling, while there is no equivalent warning that overfilling comes at the customer’s expense with no compensation or credit. Geoffery HWe were to pick up a 15 ft. In Black Diamond , only to find out the day before they did not have a truck there for us …no guarantee of location. This created a lot of problems and inconvenience for us in that UHaul would not bring a truck down to Black Diamond for us. We had to drive into Calgary to the Flying J to pick up the truck. Once at Flying J, the service was excellent and efficient….Very courteous and helpful woman . We were not charged for the extra day . We would recommend this pick up Center, but not trying to pick up in smaller communities unless you are not in time constraints as we were.

It also was some liquid spilled in the box of the truck. I have to clean it before I use it because of the expensive furniture and mattress I have.

Rodney AI ordered a moving coming through your team, the moving company never showed up. Once reaching out to your support they passed me along to their moving devision. Nobody would pick up. I left my # for a call back a few times. Still no returned call. Yes i was refunded in the end 3-5 days but still no help from uhaul. This money we planned for help. This should be refunded right away so i could of chosen another option "It's out of our hands" being third party. Support should be there to assist with the situation.
