Uhaul truck had a bad tire in the back that blew out on me. Should have been fixed before giving it to a customer to rent out. Could have ended a lot worse if I didn't pull over in time,

First of all U-Haul did not give me a 26 foot truck, I was guaranteed one, but received a 20 foot, the movers I hired could not adjust their schedule to mine, since U-Haul kept on changing the truck delivery date. So I could not fit all my household belongings, and this in turn made me waist 2 more days going from upland,CA to Las Vegas and back. I also had to rent another truck, a 10 foot, to finish my move to California. Overall I spent twice the amount on the truck rentals and twice the amount filling them up with gas, along with two extra days I had to take off from work, which U-Haul did not compensate me for! As for the drop of location at 1041 E Foothill Blvd in Upland, CA, it was the worst experience. The guy that attended me called and asked if I was going to drop off the U-Haul truck, I told him I was running one hour late, THIS WAS DUE TO U-HAUL CHANGING THE DELIVERY DATE AND TIME, WHICH CAUSED THE MOVERS TO NOT BE ABLE TO ACCOMMODATE MY SCHEDULE, I HAD TO UNLOAD THE 20 FT TRUCK BY MY SELF AND ONLY TOOK ONE EXTRA HOUR. When I arrive at the drop off location with the truck empty on gas, due to not having enough time, the attendant told me, as if I was an infant, that it is really bad to return the truck on empty. I told him if he wanted I could go fill it up, as long as I'm not charged extra time. He just kept on saying it was bad. Then he charged me an extra day, the gas and $30 to pump the gas. If I was charged the extra day, then he should had given me the keys to the truck for me to use for that extra day, then I would have had time to fill it up with gas. I BELIEVE THAT U-HAUL OWES ME THE EXTRA DAY I WAS CHARGED FOR THE 20 FOOT TRUCK AND ALL THE CHARGES FOR THE SECOND TRUCK I HAD TO RENT, INCLUDING THE GAS I SPENT ON THE SECOND TRUCK AND THE TWO EXTRA DAYS I HAD TO TAKE OFF WORK!!!!

My mother has tried NUMEROUS times to get her $100 deposit back to no avail. The manager is never available to talk to her and they just tell her a check will come in the mail. It is now January and she has not received her check.

Things went smooth and fast. I went to budget and there was paperwork an email on top of calling my Insurance company. We were there waiting for 30 min just to talk to the lady. I used uhaul and now after budget. Uhaul all the way.

DO NOT RENT HERE. The people who run this place are dirty. When I reserved a truck, I was given one set of prices and fees. When I went in to pick up the truck, they gave me a whole new set of prices. They were higher prices, of course. When I pointed out the discrepancies, they suggested that I was lying. Conveniently for them, the person who gave me the original prices was not there. This was clearly a bait and switch scam. They believed they had me over a barrel and that I would rent anyway. I cancelled the rental. This, of course, caused me a great deal of trouble. Please, DON'T RENT HERE.

Ryan was extremely professional. I was very impressed with his service. He checked me in and I was on the road in no time. Ryan should be commended for a service well done. On a side note, the new Uhaul trucks are equipped with more technology, and I like the fuel meter eco thing as it tells me how I'm using the trucks fuel. Overall, a great experience.

The attendant that worked on my paper work handed me the paper work and asked me to check the vehicle myself and I have never had to do that, I rent trucks often from uhaul. I tried calling them all day and the phone was continuously busy. for 5 hours straight.. and it was busy, do you not have two lines??

Had a great experience with Foothill Self Storage but, something got messed up with U-Hauls reservation system. I received 3 calls from different locations wondering why I hadn't picked up my truck yet.

The location I ended up at was great. They were very friendly and helpful. However, three hours before my scheduled pick up time I received a call stating that my pick up location had changed because the truck wasn't returned on time, which was fine. However, I had called Uhaul's customer service line to request the $50 credit that the website promotes for any change in reservation and received the WORST customer service. Dan was SO extremely rude and almost refused to give me the credit. (Even though I had to drive way out of my way to get the new truck) Representatives should follow through with all policies without hesitation and without the tasteless manner in which he handled himself.

If the automatic insurance rate fee could be adjusted to amount of time the rental was actually used that would be great, instead of taking it for granted that it would be used for 2 days.

Maintenance needed on Driver's door mirror. The mirror rotated freely with zero resistance. I noticed this a few miles after picking up the truck, but fortunately I had the Allen wrenches necessary to tighten it, very tightly. HOWEVER, after about 150 miles, it loosened, once again rotating freely. So a simple tightening will not work, although it appears to. The set screw seems to be backing out from its set position. Otherwise, the truck was excellent, except for one other problem. The other issue we encountered was that the battery died after we needed to use the cargo dome light for night-time loading. The problem is that there was no way to turn off the running lights and parking lights and keep the dome light lit. We didn't realize the running lights would deplete the battery after three hours. Turning the dome light on by itself needs to be idiot proof. Actually, on the final day of the rental, I parked the truck for about 20 minutes and left the running lights on for safety, and the starter turned a bit slowly even after that brief time. The battery gauge read normally, mid range.

The truck size really needs to be considered when moving. I agreed that a 17 ft truck would be sufficient for me. The kid at the upland store told me different and said that a 15 foot truck would be just a sufficient. For cost savings he set me up on a one-way. This did me no good since I had to make two trips because the truck was too small. I attempted to call U-Haul on several occasions and was hung up on Due to having phone problems. Someone called me in the late afternoon yesterday and informed me that they would be emailing me and texting me the location of my drop off and that never occurred. I feel that some form of contribution toward a discount of services needs to be rendered here toward me, if you expect me to ever do business with your company again. I have moved many times in my life and have always count on U-Haul with no problems until now. Very displeased, Anthony Thomas.

The windshield on the truck was very dirty. You charged me $2.48 for extra miles when I actually put in excess gas which actually cost more than $2.48 otherwise everything was great. The truck ran very well.
