The woman who assisted us at this location was shocked to hear our experience and unfortunately, it was at the time of returning the truck, so her ability to do much was limited. We have filed a complaint with customer service and hope for a call back. I believe a refund is in order because the cost of all of the gas for the several trips and cars outweighs the cost of the rental.Elizabeth C.

Showed up to do my pick up. The person that was there is running the business out of his room. And there was a homeless girl that kept going in and out as I'm trying to get the keys from him. The place smells like urine and there was clothes all over the floor. I have never seen or been to a uhaul that was bad like this locationOscar D.

I brought my truck back early and no one was there. I did the online check out, which I did all the work and was charged a $20 dollar fee for my work. I was not informed that this would be charged to me or that they closed early. I also had to wait when I picked up the truck for them to clean it. I should have been ready to go since I made a reservation.BETH N.

Made appt for 12pm dude didn't show up until 12:45 while I waited and wilted in the California Sun. Truck was old; Hubs were rusty; AC iffy; windshield cracked (not a small one it actually measured 32â€ and on top of that they didnt have the dolly I had reserved. The absolute WORST part was the wiper blade came flying off when I had to turn them on as my move to the Bay Area had rain. I was forced of the fwy in Dublin and had to take side streets to the Richmond bridge and had to wait to cross until the road. Got light enough so I could cross and somewhat see out the windshield. A love that should have been a 6 hour drive turned into a 13 hour epic. not cool uhaul not coolDaniel H.

Wire from the trailer was in bad shape that it burned out the fuse in my new truck. Stop lights were not working leaving us stuck in the desert at midnight. It would take 90 minutes to get any assistance i had to call family members to help us. Horrible experience.Jimmy M.

The truck's windshield was filthy, the check engine light came on while driving, the equipment I requested was not provided, and I tried to upload the mileage through the app no fewer than 20 times and it gave me an error message every time. I will never go back there.Melanie S.

The lot is very small, and is more for vehicle repairs than U-Haul trucks it seems. The poor gentleman who was working their was not equipped to help as many people who go there. He was polite and nice, but the truck was not maintained, which is all of Uhaul's fault, each place should do maintenance on the vehicles before and after a use. The headlights were terrible at night and especially in the rain. Also the windshield wipers were terrible. One was skipping and jumping and did not clean the windshield good, the other broke off and we had to find a auto parts store late on Sunday night to get a new wiper. The truck leaked when it rained so our couches and clothes were soaked when we unloaded our stuff. This was all unacceptable and could cause someone to wreck your truck and worse, be gravely injured. I notified the BBB and told the lady when we checked our truck back in about the trouble, but she said she has nothing to do with any of this, to report it to Uhaul. So I am, now.Lorie S.

Not sure why this location was set as the drop off location when there was a very nice location two blocks away. This location was closed at 12pm on a Sunday (the employee on-site was still there but yelled â€œwe're closed through the doorâ€, which left me to do a self drop off return. Problem with this was that the first location did not add the truck rental to my account and so I could not begin the return process online. The employee that was still on-site eventually was going to leave and decided to help, because I didn't feel comfortable just dropping the keys off (wanted confirmation that truck was received and there would be no more surprises).Robert S.

Rented the van at noon (2/5/22) , returned it at 3 PM in afternoon. Left with 2,728.0 mi. out ; returned with 2,733.2 (5.2 mi. total ) Employee was gone when I returned ; place was locked up ! My phone battery was dead ; could not take a photo to verify return time. I got a $77.15 Bill in an Email ! ($19.95 a day van ! )Lawrence B.
I had the worst moving experience ever because I dealt with this location. They charged me incorrectly. They also never gave me the $43 credit I was supposed to receive for brining the truck back with more than a quarter tank of gas. The first truck I left the lot with started leaking AFTER I put in $18 worth of gas into it. When we took it back they gave us a smaller truck and they said they would reimburse me the $18 I lost. They NEVER did. The second truck that I left the lot with ended up having a nail in the back left tire. We realized this AFTER filling up the truck. We had to wait an hour for a third party to come and fix the fire. The whole thing was a nightmare and NOW I have been cheated out of $60 (The $43 gas credit + the $18 I put in the gas tank that leaked out) . I guess I'll have to bite the bullet and lose out on $60. Uhaul has also failed to correct this issue for me. They should take accountability since they were working with such an unreliable third party. They should reimburse me for this money but they have NOT done so. Looks like I will not be using Uhaul going forward.AMANDA A.
