The mileage rate for Uhaul is over the top at $1.09 per mile.I got my move in (4 hours)and the location and service were fine,but I would never recommend Uhaul with its high local rates.Thanks for the opportunity to mention the above.Bob M.
I had to drive 13 miles away to pick up the truck when I lived less than a mile from another one. That makes 26 miles I did not need to drive at $1.29 a mile that made simply the overcharge more than the actual rental. I would like this amount returned to me.Jennifer F.

There is no parking for customers or rental returns. There was only one person there and she was very helpful but she had to do everything such as open the gate so that I could pull in and unblock the other customer that was there and my wife who was following me had to just wait in the driveway for lack of parking spaces. The address of the place in our GPS took us to the wrong location. It was not easy to find. The gas gage on the paperwork or gas gage was in error. I ended up filling the tank before it reach the # of gallons on the estimator.ANDRE D.

The vehicle was extremely dirty and smelled of cigarette smoke. The rear compartment was full of mud smudged over the floor and ramp. The agent over drafted my account from a refund after charging me for the incorrect truck from the beginning. I assume that Uhaul will never find out about this if I do not report this issue. I am requesting a refund of the funds paid for this rental especially after having two charges, not holds on my credit card!ASHLEY L.

We went to the facilty to drop off the truck, No one was there, They were not open, which was fine except there was no where to turn the key in. We called uhaul and ended up taking pictures of the mile, gas gauge and back off the truck with the blankets folded. We had to leave the key in the back of the truck. It made us uncomfortable leaving the truck there feeling like we were responsible until someone showed up. We couldnt stay because were had to travel back 200 miles. Uhaul was very courteous but no one was sure what to do since there was no drop box for the key and we had to leave the truck.DWAYNE D.

How about next time a truck be available WHERE I FUCKING RESERVE ONE AT? Two times in 6 months I'm made reservations, get to pick up location only to find out they don't have a truck neither does anyone else within 20 miles so I have to go way out of my way, spend time, more gas in the shitty 10 mpg trucks you provide.CHASE S.

I purchased insurance and thought i was covered on the vehicle. THe attendant told me that there was a premium policy available that covered the contents. I chose not to take that coverage becuase i thought that the plan i had covered the vehicle and the upgradeded plan covered the contents. This is what i made my decision on not price. In returning the vehicle, I was surprised to hear that the plan i paid for did not cover all of the rental truck. If thisI would have been explained to me, i would have definitely taken the other policy. Bottom line is I purchased insurance on what i thought covered the rental truck based on my conversation with the attendant and it did not.BO R.

Rented in sorento louisiana retuned to Fairfield tx drone around 3 hours trying to return equipment kept calling the 800 number kept getting referred to someone else nobody could tell me where I could return equipment to finally found place on our own and if could have returned it the place the lady I rented it from I would have not used 46 miles but ended up going over mileage but this nice guy we retuned it to took care of it but I don't think I will ever rent uhaul again so hard to turn it back inTodd G.
