My thanks to them. The other u haul location fail to put the key in the lock box which left me high and dry. Thas location came through like a champ.

Deepak SThe app was terribly slow. It kept deleting the photos and refreshing and I had to keep retaking them. It would crash and exit out and not save what I had already done. App needs some work

JOHN KWhile they were nice and friendly nobody even took us out to the truck we asked him to bring it up cuz it was raining nobody showed us anything about the truck they give us wrong information about where the trailer is being picked up in the cost, and the unit of all things needed a front end alignment bad it made the whole trip miserable.
Julia MNo fault to the location, but I selected to remove the Safe Trip $5 fee. When I picked up, it was at the location they said they couldn't do anything about it. They mentioned I could call UHaul directly. Knowing that this wouldn't probably end up with a refund I didn't call.

Abraham LThe customer service was excellent, and the team was incredibly friendly and cooperative. They thoroughly informed me of the process and explained all the contract items clearly. However, I have a few comments and recommendations. The app process is quite lengthy, with many steps required to complete a reservation. Additionally, the location I picked up from is a bit dated and could benefit from some renovations. having that said I still had an excellent experience!

Richard VThe staff at Frank’s is very courteous and kind. However, I recommend safety training for your installers. You obviously have a problem in many or most locations. I rented a trailer from you in 2021 (a 1-way from CA to OH) and your installer put the hitch on upside down and the chains dragged on the ground. I didn't have much experience at that point and I didn't know how dangerous U-Haul had made my trip. I had to stop during the 3-day drive and try to fix the dragging chains on a very dark 2-lane road. Later I had to stop at another U-Haul store, so they could correct the badly installed trailer hitch and get the chains off the ground. Franks Marathon was no better. The installer did not safety check the equipment, but I was watching him, and I noticed that the ball on my hitch was dangerously loose and wobbled when he put the tongue of the trailer on the ball. It would have for sure fallen off during the 12 hour trip to Atlanta. I made him check it and he took it off and tightened the nut so it was safer. But again, the chains dragged on the ground. They were far too long and so he twisted them until they fit better and did not drag. After loading the cargo, the chains had relaxed (though I did not touch them) and they dragged the ground again. I had to fix the chains just like in 2021. When I returned the rental, Bill in Fayetteville said that this was not safe and that the chains should have been looped through the eyelet instead of twisted. I think it would been far better to have the correct length of chain put on the trailer. I also think that I should not have taken the larger 6 x 12 trailer. We were told that it would be ok. But, the weight was a lot for my 2020 RAV-4 Hybrid to handle, especially on in the immense inclines of the Smoky Mountains. It would be wise to teach your installers how to counsel renters. The RPMs on my car were very high most of the trip.
