I went to rent a U-Haul to take some stuff to the dump due to me not having a truck. I go to the U-Haul place and the dudes seem pretty okay. I get the truck and as soon as I get into it, it smells like someone smoked 15 packs of cigarettes in it. They used the cup holders as ash trays. There are burn marks all over it and there are still fresh ashes still all over the cup holders. I go inside to request a new truck and see if there is a cleaning audit. I wanted to know why I was provided this truck in the state it was. It was obviously not cleaned or if it was, it was not cleaned well. I reserved the truck 3 days in advance and they knew what date/time I was coming in. I told them I had bad asthma which is why I was requesting it. The dude was raising his tine and swearing at me; saying shit, fuck, and fucking. All while there were kids and other patrons inside the store. In the end he never gave me an answer about a cleaning audit, if it was cleaned, or when it was cleaned. They were able to provide me a truck that just arrived however. There was someone who was cleaning this one actively but I had to wait 20 minutes for it which was cool. I get that truck and inspect it and it works. Right as I am about to drive away, I see the two guys go out to inspect the first truck. It appears the acknowledge there are ashes and I would assume they can smell the smoke. On the way back inside. They decide to take a smoke break right outside the entrance of the establishment, which is a gas station. Right at the front entrance area to the convenience store. I tell them that in Washington that law prohibits them from smoking within 25 feet of any indoor common area. They continue smoking, getting fumes inside also outside where there were children around because there are restaurants in this little strip mall area. I continue to tell them that its illegal and they tell me to fuck off. The people working at this store are terrible and do not care for following laws. They do not clean their trucks nor do they seem to care about the possible needs of others.CHANDLER H.

I had scheduled a uhaul a month in advance for a Silverdale location and ended up with a port orchard location. I had to find a ride as I am a single mom and couldn't just leave my car when I picked up the uhaul. Was very stressful, plus the out of the way pick up location added miles to my rental that could have been avoided. Overall uhaul was clean and everything worked properly.Ariel D.

They didn't have have the truck that I had reserved and instead had to pay extra for a larger truck. Also had issues with the breaks of the truck that seem very unsafe. They also charged me an extra $52 after the vehicle was returned with no explanation for the charges.JASON M.

This location is inside of a mini mart and pretty confusing. I had to drive 3o miles farther than I planned on, because UHaul didn't have a truck available closer to me AND I rented a 15 foot truck and wax given a 20' truck. Not good...SEAN D.

Absolutely the worst experience with anyone representing uhaul I have ever had. I was 30 minutes late but they told me they where charging me an additional day. Refused to offer any solutions or even discuss dismissing the additional charge. Guy working there started raising his voice, talking over me, from really aggressive. In the exchange he admitted the next reservation wasn't until 11:45, meaning I returned it with plenty of time to check in and and get it ready. There was zero reason he couldn't dismiss the additional charge. When I told him I would be complaining to uhaul he said fine go ahead! Then literally pulled out his phone and told me he would call his regional supervisor himself so I could complain. Absolutely ridiculously terrible customer service. I will never be using this location again.ERIN H.
Was a Great experience. One thing I could asked for was a return acknowledgement document. Even without the final closure, it could have been useful to have some receipt that said the truck was returned, in addition to a later email after a couple of hours.PETER H.
If your going to charge someone a cleaning fee, you need to make a note on the receipt of what needed to be cleaned. I returned the truck all swept out and honestly cleaner than when I got it and was charged with a cleaning fee. No explanation why, never had this problem at any other facility. I'll pay the extra mileage and go to a different facility before I go back to this one.MARK NATHAN O.

This site used for haul comes second if there are any customers in the convinces side of the store they won't service the rental side had to leave not knowing what the hell the charges were this site sucks for truck rentalJEFFREY F.

Not this place's fault but I received a text from uhaul that my contracted drop off location had changed from this location to another one way across town. I drove to the other location and was turned away because their uhaul system had not been set up yet (new company). Drove back to original location and they couldn't do anything to take away the extra mileage charge caused by uhaul sending me all over town. They tried to be helpful but told me that uhaul didn't allow them to make any changes to the mileage charges.JAMES H.

Truck died twice on me and was showing oil light. Put $20 to refill gas and when the pump stopped at $19.48 thought it was good. Then get charged $20 for not putting enough gas in. Definitely not a happy experience.Teresa M.

Check Out was Awesome, I prepaid with the main TRAFFIC reservation telephone line for a round trip from Port Orchard to Spokane and return to Port Orchard, due to Spokane did not have TM 10 ft moving trucks. I called ahead of check in time to extend a few hours due to extreme heat delayed unpacking. Check in was HORRIBLE, they overcharged me by $700. I had and still have a copy of my agreed contract !! I wanted a one way truck nd I didn't realize I reserved a in town when I was moving from Port Orchard to Bremerton. she couldn't take the time to see if there was a other option somewhere else or there because she was the only person working and the store had a line. The truck drove like crap. It didnt accelerate very well andnhad to be kind of helped to shift and when I turned the wheel I was worried it was gonna break. Trying to get gas before dropping it was a nightmare. I waited for what seemed 10 minutes for a spot, moving to trying to get a different spot. Trying to maneuver the truck in the parking spot and lot seemed like a 6 step process everyone. Just overall was unhappy with the Uhauls service. I have never really had this problem before. If I need a truck again I doubt I'll use Uhaul.DORA H.

The clerks went the second mile to get me the correct truck and talked to your main control center for approximately 1/2 hour to do so. They were friendly, walked me to the correct truck and helped me back out of the parking space.dennis C.

I was charged first two day at. 173.00 I called the 3 rd day to rent it and I asked to up the original miles. He said yes I turn it in Saturday it cost another 299.00 it was almost 500$ I will never use your company again. And I will not recommend you guys . That is absolute ey terrible. I have used you guys multiple times and I will never again and on top of it I will spread the word on what has transpired.Jacob D.
