I can't believed what I experienced! Racism? Stereotype? I get mistreated because I am an Asian. First the customer service crew demanded me to step 6 feet back away from him coz â€œ I m gonna give him and another customer â€œ covidâ€ That crew is extremely nice to other customers ( white/ black/â€¦) but to me . The only Asian. I feel extremely offensive and mistreated! He violently grab my license , throw the paper at me. Using all the demanding and ordering tone to me but other customers! Is that Uhaul's culture to mistreat and be hateful to Asian? I was in rush to rent a truck that's why I didn't confront him right there but I feel very uncomfortable. After all these Asian crime. I personally experienced that in Uhaul office Thank you Uhaul! For promoting Asian hate crime! I need an official answer and refund for my ride or I m gonna contacting my family lawyer for any further legal action!ChunNam C.

He was very rude asking me to stand 6 ft away which is appropriate but when I said I prefer to stand at the door he offered me to leave and cancel the reservation. I called to check on opening hours for Christmas Eve and ability to return unit early. A lady called Portia advised they were open until 4pm and could return the trailer any time prior to then. On arrival at @ 2pm a male employee told me they were closed. He "helpfully" explained to me that it was Christmas Eve, (which I was aware of and was specifically why I called in advance to verify if they were open) and as he wasn't the person I spoke on the phone, I would just have to do self check in. I unhitched the trailer and left. Would not recommend Mr Ebenezer or this location to anyone, let alone a friend. Merry Christmas.ANDREW W.

Truck had a bad battery and aways needed jumped to start. Customer service was of no help when I called the central help number and just wasted my time. Truck was dropped off after hours and didn't have a chance to discuss with rep but I did make comment in the comments section and indicated I did not want to accept charges as is due to this issue. Received an email the next day saying I'd been charged. No phone call to discuss or resolve the situation. I would expect some kind of discount given the hassle I had to deal with each time I needed to start the truck. I did not want to waste time returning the truck to switch it out. Hard pass from me using Uhaul next time.Alan J.

Prior to renting from this location I had read several reviews regarding the online (after hours) pick up service and the issues with the camera not functioning when it was time to check out the equipment. I figured that would've been a problem corrected by now so I went ahead and booked. Like many others, I experienced the same issue with the camera function required so you can take a picture of your ID and self, still did not work despite. I followed the iPhone camera setup instructions to the tee. With my movers waiting and charging by the hour, it took over 40mins. for customer service to figure out a workaround to get the information they wanted for them to release the keys. Upon my return with the truck, it was the same annoying and time-consuming problem however it was now during business hours but of course, The owner had a sign on the door that they were out and will be back later), so I had to call customer service again and go through another workaround all because this camera function does not work. At this point, there should already be in place a secondary way to get pictures sent to where they need to be so that the check-in and checkout process is seamless. The whole thing caused a lot of wasted time that cost me money with my per hour workers.RACQUEL S.

Keep politics out of your customer service and be courteous and professional with your customers. I didn't appreciate the agent at the pick up/ drop off location intruding his politics into his service during my pick up and drop off. I will not be using that location again.OLUTAYO A.
There was a problem with aligning my vehicle with the trailer and the young man, put me to the side and worked with other customers, two of which got out before I did. Then upon return 12:58am 12/5 I dropped off the trailer and he said he would check me in and send an email receipt of which I still have no record. Upon return I took a photo of the trailer and dolly with office and his head walking away in the background, having no confidence in follow through.David B.

Horrible return experience. Dropped the truck after hours and dealer ripped me off with bogus cleaning and fuel charges. I received very unethical and unprofessional treatment from this dealer. I will look for other rental options going forward!Loyd C.

dolly was not in back of truck when i came in nor was furniture pads.(which normally the bag in the back of truck would be packed with some) I had to go in and get the dolly. That was the least of my frustrations. The app never lets me check out properly. As soon as you get to take pictures of gas and mileage. (wont accept picture) this happened to me once before. I returned everything 2 hours after i checked vehicle out and traveled 17 miles precisely. App could use a lot of attention. will be going over bill tomorrow with rep. 24hr line doesn't t actually work. i waited 48 minutes last time for a rep and 36 minutes this time.Andrew J.

No improvement needed. My experience with Uhaul was absolutely flawless. I needed a truck for my business, as one of our trucks was out of service. So I rented a Uhaul truck to deliver materials to a big ticket job, with a firm deadline. I was able to rent a truck fast from Uhaul with no issues and was able to complete the job successfully thanks to Uhaul/ I will most definitely utilize Uhaul as my go to rental provider, as well as recommend Uhaul to everyone I know. No wonder Uhaul has been around for decades, they know their business and deliver a great customer experience. The staff at Uhaul are professional and knowledgeable. The entire operation is literally run out of the back of a truck. The man who runs it has 2 teenage boys who work out of the back of a U-Haul truck, complete with a ridiculously messy desk, some drawers, and an open sign. My vehicle I ordered online was ready but was missing the appliance dolly. I asked the man who runs the place if I could get it. I misspoke and called it a furniture dolly and he rudely said they don't have those and started to walk off without assisting me further. I told him it's on my purchase contract which I already paid for. He said, "oh you're talking about a dolly to move boxes and shit". Then he yelled at one of the boys to go get one from the haphazard pile of equipment and trash under an open-air tent. The manager was incredibly rude and unhelpful. I've never encountered such a lack of professionalism in U-Haul. Had this been my first experience, I would NEVER recommend U-Haul to anyone, anywhere, ever. However, I have had wonderful experiences in many other locations throughout this area. Someone from U-Haul needs to pay this guy a visit, look at how he "runs" the shop, stores the equipment, and maybe check to see if the two teenage boys are even on the payroll legitimately.Mark B.

When I dropped the trailer off the agent didn't even have me in his system and kept asking me if I was sure I returned it to right place. I had to show him my rental contract for him to finally believe me that I was supposed to drop off trailer at this location. Then I asked if I needed to sign anything to confirm it was returned in time and was told no and that an auto generated e-receipt would be emailed to me within a day. I didn't get until 3 days later and they charged me $59.00 extra in late fees which was inaccurate because the trailer was returned in the stipulated in contract so this is a fraudulent charge. I attempted to call this location several times to resolve this issue but no answers and a voice mailbox that just says leave a message which I have. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE AND WILL NEVER USE UHAUL AGAIN BECAUSE THEIR INDEPENDENT AGENTS CANNOT BE TRUSTED TO CONDUCT BUSINESS IN GOOD FAITH AND STANDING!!!BRIAN H.

I was given a Uhaul with 1/16 of a tank left. Which was 2 miles. I barely made it to get fuel. Before I left the Uhaul facility I commented on how much has there was and that I wouldn't get too far and the representative said â€œOh yeahâ€¦â€ I returned it with close to a half a tank of gas. Pretty certain I was still charged for miles that I should be credited for. Bad experience and will not use this location again.SHAUN M.
