Was way overcharged. Word to the wise....ask to see an itemized bill/invoice before you sign your name on the pad. What you are signing is "estimated total charges". I rented the truck for 8 hours but had if back in 4. The keys were given back to Mike personally. I was charged close to $100. This place is a rip off.Medina B.

We arrived to find that the truck assigned to us had a crack the full width of the windshield. We requested a different truck and were given a 26' truck instead of what we had ordered. That truck was way bigger than necessary, and made the trip two states away more difficult.Angela A.

The folks were great, the vehicle, not so much. Smelled like a dirty bar. Cigarette smell and really nasty body odor. Windshield wipers needed to be replaced. Started raining and drivers wiper did nothing to clear windshield.Gerry S.
I was running late with the u-haul and the guy who I rented from kept calling and making threats talking about calling the police on me and now I'm going to spend my Christmas in jail because I'm running late with his U-Haul he's saying that I stole his U-HaulMonica S.

Mike from this location was not helpful at all. He did not send me a receipt to my email until I contacted him about it. The receipt had a remaining balance, no problem, but it has been pulling teeth trying to get him to help me with how to pay it since my reservation is expired on the website. Mike is completely unhelpful, not knowledgable, and frankly probably is not actually doing his job unless the customers are prodding him alongMathew H.

I contacted U-Haul several times to indicate that I did not rent a truck and that whoever did used my email address without permission. To date all I have received is more emails from U-Haul regarding my rental.rodney S.
The pick up location was switched and was a lot farther 20 miles +/- than what was booked. The U-Haul had dog hair in cab and the bed of the truck was dirty. I had to clean both the cab and bed before using. Plus was charged for the insurance $28 and I didn't want this. The 40 extra miles was expensive for gas. When I book in advance I should not have to drive that far to pick up the vehicle and should be clean. The truck drove nice but still not happy.Conner P.

The transmission went out on the first truck. I called to let them know it wasn't driving right and was basically told I had it in tow mode, which I didn't. I called back and got the voicemail. Finally after calling a few time I get someone only to be told to call roadside assistance. The customer service lady for roadside was very nice but it 4 hours to get a replacement truck. This set me behind and they charged me for the extra miles on the second truck. The final invoice was $60 more than what it should have been, had the first truck been maintained probably.Kelly W.

The key drop off box was hard to locate. The picture on the site was incorrect.Troy A.
2 days before pick up our pick up location was switched to a further location that fortunately did not impact our overall mileage, but did not allow for any wiggle room in mileage. The night before pick up, I got a notification that our truck size was reduced from a 15 foot truck to a 10 foot truck. Fortunately again, we were able to drive to the castleton location and they were able to call the pick up location and get us switched back to a 15 foot truck. Not sure how you can justify reducing the size of a truck 12 hours before pick up when the customer is moving states. Additionally, when we got to the pick up location for our 9:30am pick up, the store didn't open until 11:00. Fortunately again, the store owner got there around 9:45 and was able to get us our keys. Again, not sure why you would set a pick up time at a store that isn't even open for that pick up time.Brett K.

A neighborhood dealer who my reservation was transferred to without notification. There was no pick up truck inspection, the truck was dirty and I didn't get the dolly I requested. Not only that, they charged me for the missing dolly that never made it on the truck. I sent an email to customer service with no response and the call wait times are consistently over an hour.
