The suspension in the truck was really bad it made me sick to my stomach. My TVs and dinette Beveled glass were wrapped in pads and even had bungee cord to hold them. When we got To our destination we raise the door up on the back of the truck and all three of my TVs and the beveled glass top were damaged beyond repair. I hope the insurance I paid for will cover the damage.

I need to use u haul again but am afraid to do so. My debit card was hacked after using it. I only used it at this u haul location and fueling station to top truck back off. I think there should be a cash option.

I made a reservation by phone on a Tuesday for a must-move Saturday. My first call was almost complete when the employee told me I'd have to pick up at another location. As I neared the pick up spot on Saturday I called to say traffic was delaying me a bit. This employee said I did not have a reservation. We disagreed about this a couple of times, neither of us becoming loud. I pressed the person for assistance and he said "It's Saturday and lots of people are moving--we don't have a truck for you." We did this another minute or two. I pressed for a solution. He sent me to a furniture store that rents UHauls. The person there was actually great and the rental was fine. But overall UHaul customer service was terrible, uncaring, unprofessional. They sold my reservation because they were busy. Beware Indy area UHauls.

The pick up via mobile phone is a disaster. There is no reason to have to go through all the hassle when you are on site and ready to go. The selfie, license photo, and back up contact could all be done in advance.

pick up process took 5 minutes drop off took 5 minutes charges were exactly what they said they would be... Daily plus mileage plus fuel. What more could you ask for?

The truck worked well for a self-move from Indpls to NW Indiana. I reserved the truck online, about one week in advance, for pickup at another (closer) Indpls location. However, about 2 days prior, UHaul rescheduled pickup location due to 'guaranteed' reservation not available at original location. It's kind of like going to the airport to pickup a rental car that you pre-reserved, then being told figure out how to pick the vehicle up at another (off-site) location. Also, would advise that maximum achievable speed on I-65 was 65 mph and e.v.e.r.y.o.n.e. was passing! Thankfully, we arrived safely at our destination and had the truck returned same day in NW Indiana. Final advice: hire movers!

The process of where to get the truck was AWFUL!!! This was not the pick-up location I requested when my reservation was confirmed weeks in advance. Uhaul rep called to tell me the requested pick up location I was unavailable, and the only option I had to drive 30 minutes out of my way to get a truck. Another rep then called and tried to move to pick up 50 minutes away. I then got an email about picking up at a 3rd location, but that truck wasn't available until after my movers were already scheduled. What a cluster. Your scheduling system needs serious attention!
