Doug in the office was very helpful in keeping me informed on my move to another state. Curtis and Justin, the two men that loaded my truck were extremely careful with my furniture. They wrapped every piece of furniture and taped the blankets so that they wouldn't fall off. I cannot express in words how grateful I am to this U-Haul group of men and woman. Thank you.Pat R.

Drop off instructions need to be given to the customer prior to return. The drop off location was nothing except helpful but the online checkin was a mess due to not knowing UHaul needed about 6 different pictures taken before we dropped the keys in the boxLORETTA T.

The truck I reserved wasn't able to be rented because of crack in windshield and air bag problem, so was given next bigger truck and asked to get it back in less than 2 hours. My bill that I signed was for $73.80 and in several hours had a new bill in my email for $96.16. When called went round and round to no resolve with employee and she was to call me back and never did! Feel I was totally ripped off!!marilee D.

I called U-Haul to rent a trailer and they sent me to a "U-Haul dealer" to pick up the trailer. Computer would't work open the U-Haul software. Credit card pay device didn't work at all. Trailer was connected to another vehicle when I arrived for pick up. Employee was not able to disconnect the trailer and asked me to lift it. This does not happen at a genuine uhaul store. Similar situation when I returned the trailer. I was asked to lift the trailer off the hitch. Not professionally operated like a genuine U-Haul store. I will refuse to deal with that company in the future and will likely not use U-Haul again bexause of this experience.Scott K.

I rented a appliance dolly and had to go to 3 places to get it. Then it was removed from my contract and had to have it put on the contract. The Uhaul center on Kingshighway then gave it to me for free because of all the mistakes at the pickup location.Teena H.

There was only one lady working and they have several businesses. She was left alone to hook trailer up. She could not lift the trailer to hook it up. I had shoulder problems and was not much help. Was there an hour and finally 2 men happened to show up and helpedStephanie W.

The truck and transport trailer were old. The auto transport trailer tied down strap on the left side wasn't long enough to strap the left tire to the trailer. Very over priced for both. After paying over the phone with a credit card we had to give a person to call and verify who we were. The trailer wasn't hooked up to the truck. This location is on a very busy street and you have to pull out into the street to get out. They have no where to park equipment where it is safe to get the truck and trailer out safe. I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone. Very bad experience all around with the company and uhaul. The milage was wrote down wrong on the paper didn't notice it until after we left the small moving company business. The truck ran terrible. To go approximately 230 miles it took a tank of gas which was way to much gas fir the size of truck and the distance.Linda T.

The lady at the front counter had problems getting into the computer and getting me out of there. It took over an hour just to be able to leave. When returning the trailer last evening my phone couldn't take the picture requested through your website and upload it. I had it returned last evening and today it appears there is another day charged.David M.

I am a over the road truck driver and I made arrangements two weeks earlier than my pick up date for the enclosed trailer on S. Kingshighway, Cape Girardeau, Mo. I usually do not get home until 5:30 PM on Fridays. Since I was picking your trailer up on Friday the U-Haul dealer assured me they would be open until 8:00 PM. I received a call on the road the Thursday the day before pick up that I would have to pick the trailer up by 4 PM I called my wife and she called the U-Haul dealer and ask them again if I had until 8:00PM to pick up the trailer and they said YES. On Friday, I get a call that I have only to 4:00PM to pick the trailer at a completely different location in Cape Girardeau, Mo. I called the dealer and they waited on me to arrive after their 5:00 PM closing hour.After I pulled the trailer home I discovered that none of the left side lights worked on the trailer. Called the U-Haul store on Kingshighway to see if they could fix the lights before 8:00 PM They would not return two calls I made to them and would not solve my light problems. Finally called customer Service number by 7:00 PM. The person she was suppose to send to fix the lights never showed. Called her the second time and the service person she was trying to reach would not answer their phone. By 9:00 PM the customer service woman had to call a service person 80 miles away. The man called us directly and arrived at 10:10 PM to fix a damaged wire on the trailer. Needless to say I did not get much sleep since I had to leave with the truck and trailer at 3:00 AM the next morning. I give you and F on sending out defective equipment. The customer service agent did the best she could do under the circumstances.thomas B.
One computer which was very slow and not working for one worker and multiple customers, we were sent back and forth between two uhaul locations seven times in the same town because one office couldn't do everything. A complete mess and a lot more stress added to the move. Terrible experience. Never want to go through that again.kimble C.

Sales person took a phone call while I was standing waiting to get the paperwork for my rental. She stayed on the phone for at least 15 minutes!!! Customer in front of you with money vs. someone who MIGHT someday use your business! VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!! Plus, I requested to pick up the trailer at the Kingshighway location, it was changed to this location, which was MUCH LESS convenient for us. The Kingshighway location had 3 of this size trailers sitting in their parking lot! AGAIN, very poor customer service!!!! Best part of this experience was the drop off!Ruth T.

The staff were nice people. However, their focus on the morning of my second rental in two weeks was not on me or the equipment I was renting. My first experience was excellent; due to the volume of all our household goods, another large truck was needed. If the initial estimate of our household goods had been more accurate, we would have discovered that two trips were necessary (two rentals costing more than $3,000 each, including the equipment, insurance, and gas but not including accommodations and meals.) This final total cost was more than the binding estimates from licensed movers. Not having the correct attention on this second rental became problematic. The engine maintenance light illuminated less than 40 miles into my 2,200 trip. It was discovered that a service technician did not reset the maintenance timing device in the engine. This cost me a 45 minute delay; close to 15 delay of waiting for someone at the 800 number to answer my call and another call to the renting agency to verify the problem and instruct me in how to reset the maintenance device. The windows in the truck were not cleaned and no one was around to help me reset the outside mirrors. I was extremely disappointed in the service offered on this second rental.KIM N.

Very nice people; great job loading the van Forgot to notify drop off location that the check engine light is on. Also, you can't drive it the speed limit on the interstate. Something wrong with tires / alignment / etc that causes the vehicle to rattle / shake uncontrollably.Brain B.

I HAD TO DRIVE TO GET ONE OF MY TRUCKS!!!! 50 MILES!!!!! This was unbelievable. I cannot fathom why even bother with a reservation! And then to be told "trucks depend on demand", I 'demanded' a truck when I made the reservation...that's how reservations work! I cannot even begin to tell you how disappointed I was at this, and not to mention the time I lost by having to stop and get a truck which took 3 hours of my day, the day before the move.Dave W.
