The truck was full of crumbs and tiny bits of garbage

The actual truck and people were good, but there were a lot of problems with the check-in process. I specified Mobile Pick up at 7:30 AM, but the system had it as 9:30 AM pick up at the counter - I think it defaulted to when the business opened, but it was a waste of time in the morning and if I had needed the truck for the full 3 hours would have caused problems. Also, I modified the reservation to add a dolly, which it allowed me to do, but then the next morning when I went to pick up the truck I was told that this location didn't have dollies. None of it ended up mattering for what I was doing, which was fortunate. But the system did almost nothing right.

I wasted about 50 min because of vague instructions for pick-up, and store being closed. I booked U-haul for 8am, and the store wasn't supposed to be open till 9am. Luckily, I was able to get a hold of the owner, but it then took 40 minutes to leave the place. They first told me to call the customer service, but after about 20 min, they ended up in processing the pick-up themselves. Also, the car had only half a tank, so it was hard to know how much exactly I used. I ended up adding about $10 more than the amount of gas I used to be safe.

I put gas in and was charged $25 anyway. Not the best experience but also a uhaul protocol so not sure I’m blaming the facility. Thanks

You should not a) automatically include additional items for rent - for example it automatically included 12 padded blankets, I had to edit the order after completing once I saw them. b) offer additional products to rent if they are not available from the pickup location. I added a furniture dolly to my order but that piece of equipment was not available and we had to drive to another location to pick one up.

Equipment pretty clean but could use a little vacuum or tidy in the console area for drink cups etc. Despite the few crumbs, the guy who owns the store was extremely helpful throughout the whole process and I decided that we will use this location everytime when down moving the university kid around!! He also makes and sells the BEST veggie samosas I have ever tried!
