I am reviewing the U-Haul company, not their locations: Beware! Even if you make a reservation at a specific location, U-Haul does not guarantee they will have the trailer available! We received a phone call the day before pick up and were told the nearest trailer we reserved was 60 miles away! When we asked for some compensation for gas and time we were given a lousy $20 gift card for a future rental! I can not believe this is how the U-Haul company operates!Dave C.
Make sure your tires don't have leaks and your trucks have correct wheel alignment. Also make sure you clean out the cab next time.Hunter J.
Fill up the gas tank!!! It makes it very inconvenient to guess how much gas to put in since you make it very clear that Uhaul does not reimburse if the truck is returned with more fuel than what is printed on the receipt gauge.Richard H.

The person I set the pick up with put down the wrong date so across state when I went to pick it up there was no reservation and had to set a new one driving almost 100 miles with no reimbursement for gas which is over $6.00 a gallon.Ian A.
I was given papers and key and was told it was in the field. So after I found truck was full of rotten dog food which smelled for over 100 miles. Was very disappointed.Eva W.
I reserved a small trailer & an appliance dolly. When I checked in, there was NO APPLIANCE DOLLY AVAILABLE!!!!! Employee Michelle17464 gave me a furniture dolly which was of NO HELP AT ALL!!! I WANT A CREDIT FOR THE MISSING APPLIANCE DOLLY AND FOR RETURNING THE TRAILER ONE DAY EARLIER!!!!Jeannine Y.

The lights we inoperable on the fist trailer. Later I noticed on the second trailer the tires were worn as I was in a hurry after waiting to get a second trailer. The appears to be a maintenance issue on the trailers that could cause safety issues for inexperienced drivers. The attendant at Gillian's was a big help in getting me on the road as a positive note.Jeffrey L.
The staff at Gilligan's Spring Valley located in Mayer, AZ were absolutely wonderful!!!! They were very courteous and helpful. I will definitely rent from them again. And it is a great location to rent from because they have snacks and even a kitchen . They can make you a pizza for your move!Amanda H.

I was charged for 2 days and I only used the trailer for 3 1/2 hours. Uhaul site said there's nothing they can do, that I had to call customer service. What a joke!! Tries calling customer service. Was on hold for 45 minutes then it hung up. Never again! Going with Penske for Sure next Time!Joey G.

The agent personally checked in the tow dolly and pointed out why the car was literally being dragged behind us, ruining the back tires and forcing us to replace the tires and drive the remainder of our trip. Very unhappy that the charge for the tow dolly is still on my credit card statement and charges not dropped as promised by U-Haul!ANA C.
Manager help in the end i thank for that but it took 4hrs to finLe get the truck but it wassnt the big one i odered now i have to do another run from az to idaho. Its cost me so much money because now i have to make another run yo idaho.JESSE L.

Your website is not explicit concerning return time. I called the 800 number before renting to find out the return time required and was given inaccurate info. I would have picked up the trailer later had I known how early it was supposed to be returned.James H.

I moved a total of 40 miles. The truck cost me around $180.00. For 2 days. I feel that if your moving say 50 miles or less then it should cost less. The old $19.95 local with a set # of miles to go with it. Say 20 miles. Any more miles than that would be $0.25 a mile. That would be great. Charging $0.99 per mile is a bit much. I think that Uhaul would round up a lot more of the local people if prices were more accommodating.Corey O.

Defective exhaust system, muffler separated at manifold pipe. Inner tire on driver side rear had slow leak. Eventually flat. Didn't have the size truck requested a week prior. Didn't have furniture pads organized or counted out, ready for rent. Unable to redirect ac airflow due to malfunctioning actuator. Pickup location 31 miles from requested location.
