Use a little wd-40 on the straps ratchet. I sprayed them to work better. Also, make sure tires are aired up to specs before renting. Had to add air to two tires when loaded. Otherwise good.STEPHEN R.

A hand truck was requested and needed for our move, however a heavy appliance truck was all they had available. Using this appliance truck was cumbersome and it made moving many boxes difficult.grahm H.
The owner of this location told me to call when I needed someone to help me put the car trailer on my truck (I was by myself and cannot do this). When I called he was very rude and said "I was ruining his afternoon when he was sleeping" (something to that effect in a very sarcastic and unpleasant manner). I am not used to being spoken to in this manner. This man should not be dealing with the public in anyway. He also told me I had called too late (when I had not). I had called within the time frame he had told me the day before. When I took my truck to get the carrier on, the person who did it was another man (not the owner) and did a good job though he wasn't very personable. The person who had checked me in and gave me the truck (A different person than the owner) was also very distracted and did not seem to want to answer my questions. The man had a dog in the office was was licking me ( I like dogs but don't want a strange dog licking me). A woman who was also there was sitting out to the side of the office and I walked over to ask her where I could pick up the trailer. She also was not helpful and seemed to resent helping me. I had moved before with Perske but this was 9 years ago. I don't recall if I used UHAUL in the past.Deborah L.
Easier to find office. We were charged to put the car on the vehicle hitch but in cash only. Not sure if that was how that was supposed to work. Trash in the cup holders like candy wrappers and dirt.Jacob W.

The water leak in the main cabin above the driver's seat could have proved to be a serious issue while driving the truck and trailer through a strong storm. The worst that happened for me was getting soaked and having to drive 3+ hours in wet clothes.Ryan Y.

I was already dissatisfied that UHaul moved my pick-up location 20 miles from where I booked the original location. It seems like the appropriate vehicle should be at the location booked. At this particular location, the office reeked of cigarette smoke and the assistant stood at the open front door smoking.FRANKLIN E.
It was a nightmare using Uhaul. The worst experience I've ever had. Picking up the first 26 ft Uhaul wasn't too bad but the truck was damaged on both sides and we took pics to dispute the pics they had that didn't show all the dents and scrapes, etc. then due to needing another 10 ft truck we were thankful to pick up at another location. We thought I'd scheduled both to be dropped off at the same location but when we get there found out on paperwork in the 26 ft truck they changed the drop off for that one to a different location than I'd requested online. So we left the 10 ft truck and thankfully it had a Dropbox to put the key in. But when we took the 26 ft to the other location there was no drop box for keys and nowhere to park but thankfully the owners son saw us and told us to bring it back in the morning when they open. So we brought it back then had to wait for them to inspect it before leaving the keys. We were told we'd get a credit of $124 back but instead they debited that in addition to the $327 when we picked up. And we left the truck with around a half tank of gas because we didn't know how much it would need. I hope we never have to move again but if we do I'll check into a different moving company that does more to help than cause more stress during such an exhausting time of packing and moving 2 hrs away. We will call the last location to find out why they debited the $124 instead of crediting like they told us they would.Michael L.

That office is filthy & unorganized & the elderly guy is rude. He sounds like he's drunk & leaves at 2 o'clock which is unheard of! The truck I rented was broke but I fixed it because I had a lot to do. He told me I had to have the truck back before 8:30 this morning when I just got it at 1:50 yesterdayâ€¦that's not even 17 1/2 hrs but I paid for 24 hrs that's not right or legal & Im very upset about it!! I guess the truck being nasty w/trash inside was the least of my problemsâ€¦.THOMAS G.

My experience went very well. I called on Saturday and reserved the truck for Sunday. Yes people they are open on Sunday. I think the comfort of them being open on Sunday really made my experience even better. Thanks Gateway!!!Sherika H.
