I ordered the trailer for pickup in Lorton, VA. I went there and was told they didn't have a trailer and had to drive 2 hours west to Martinsburg, WV. I was also told I could pickup at 7:00 AM on Nov. 21. This U-haul site doesn't open till 9:00 AM. I hope I never have to use U-haul again.

The truck was not where it was supposed to be and it was blocked in. The equipment I asked for was not ready. We used the mobile pick up and still had to wait over an hour for the place to open to receive what we asked for and to get access to the truck. They were not organized or ready.

Mobile Check In/Check Out does not work at this location. I was trying to check out after hours and one of the employees was working late & checked out the vehicle for me. Same with check in, I had to call the location the next day to get the vehicle checked in.

I was unable to clean the equipment when I returned it and they were able to clean it for me after use for a small fee. The business was not on regular schedule operating hours and they were really nice to me when I asked to use their restroom.

My husband & me were told there were no trucks available (we were looking for 20 ft. ) Then we met & spoke with owner who checked online & found us an available 20 foot truck. He was absolutely charming & helped us out when we really needed it. I highly recommend him for anyone who needs vehicles for moving purposes & he also has vehicles for sale. It was a pleasure doing business with him.

Everything was ready and waiting for us when we pulled in by a wonderful gentleman that worked hard to ensure we knew exactly how to work the equipment. It was a wonderful experience that could have been stressful if it wasn't for the staff at this location including the man that answered all of my questions on the phone and made me feel at ease throughout this process. Highly recommend this location.

I received my truck with drink stains and a sticky mess. There were cigarette ashes within the cup holders. The truck barely had enough gas to get me to a gas station. I placed a complain within the mobile pickup expecting someone to call me due to my poorly maintained truck and the only thing that happened was my card was charged. I would never recommend this spot to anyone. I recommend driving a bit further to a station that may actually treat their equipment with more care.

I absolutely had a great experience and the owner himself went above and beyond. He was literally closed and I arrived at the wrong location to rent a trailer. Then I showed up and forgot my hitch. He said don't worry go home and grab the ball hitch and he would wait. I showed back up and was missing the light connector piece. He was again willing to wait while I went to the store to purchase one. I decided to just rent the pickup instead. I was having a really crappy day, my truck broke down At the end of a move and was completely distraught. He had no idea what I been through, but yet was very accommodating, polite and most of all got me what I needed! I definitely will be visiting this location for all of my future needs!

U-Haul staff at the desk did not wear a mask indoors and was not friendly! And, he did not require other customers to wear masks! The indoor space smelled like cigarette smoke! Office was dirty and cluttered, and boxes were priced significantly more than Wal-Mart and Lowe's. There was a couch on the concrete just outside the front door. The couch was very dirty and disgusting. The cab of the truck we rented had not been cleaned in any way, with papers from two previous renters and packing material remnants on the floor. The dashboard was very dusty and the drink holder area was dirty with food crumbs. The inside of the front windshield had not been cleaned and had visible drips that were distracting while driving. Worst U-Haul location we've ever seen.

The only person that know how to use the computer was late. They were suppose to provide two dozen blankets but only provided 22 so we had to dig out blankets already packed to cover the remaining furniture. Their were pigeons in the ceiling so feathers and dirt kept dropping on us while we were waiting.

The gentleman at the front was amazing. He made my whole experience so enjoyable. The truck was clean and pretty. Filled up with gas and smooth riding. The staff was kind. I've already recommended this location to other friends at work.

we returned truck around 4pm. however they closed at 3 which i was not aware of. Had to do return online which is confusing. Make it simple, drop key in box. they can look at gas level and mileage when they open for business.

The location was great and staff was friendly. But reserving a vehicle through UHaul was a nightmare. The process was so difficult and bad that it took hours to complete after numerous calls and long wait times from UHaul.

The manager was very rude...not a pleasant person at all...than hands me the 🔑 and tells me to go get the truck...there was about four trucks in the lot...he didn't even do a walk through...he was just plain rude...never again...

Scheduled pick up time was 10am. Did not receive “approval for rental qualifications” until over 40 minutes after scheduled pick up time and sat in a hot parking lot waiting after showing up for my scheduled pick up. Reached out to customer service through three different sources (phone, email, and online chat) five separate times and did not receive a single response. Paid to rent a utility dolly during time of van rental, and dolly was not provided.

Online, I elected to use the smartphone/app method of getting my truck, with an 8:00 pickup time. Fortunately, there was an employee there who did his best to help me, even though it was outside normal business hours. The app incorrectly stated that I was to have a manual pickup at 9:00, when they opened. Good thing I wasn't paying a crew by the hour or had scheduled a 5:00 pick up time! It took a long time to finally get my truck, which was only 1/4 filled. Had to stop first thing to get fuel. I spent much more money than I needed to on the fuel, and much more time than I had planned for to pick the truck up. Not happy with the whole experience. At least the truck didn't break down. I figured that, if everything else was this unprofessional, how well was the truck maintained?!

I felt like they went out of their way to be helpful and accommodate me. I had originally picked up a smaller truck and then needed a larger one. It was an easy and seamless switch. I was so thankful for that!

We realized that our drop-off location have been scheduled for on 210 miles from where we were. The grumpiest man on the planet at our planned drop-off site was unhelpful at best and rude at worst. We needed to call the rental place (who had no record of us) he couldn't help us. We left and did so, but he didn't have to snap at us the way he did. The same information could have been communicated in, if no a friendly manner, at least a polite tone. He was less angry when we'd sorted it out and dropped off the truck. But, man! My son was stunned at his initial aggression.

I would rather run myself over with the U-Haul than have to drop off equipment to this shitty location. The gentleman that greeted me with a big fuck you really set the tone. Some people shouldn't be in customer service.

They charged me for two gallons of gas @ 3.50 per gallon. I completely filled the tank 1 mile from the location. I consider that theft. I would never, ever recommend that location to anyone and I will make a point to let people know of their unethical business practices.

We were over charged a total amount of $386.58...this is clearly a mistake however we expect this to be credited back immediately. We just purchased a home and this added incorrect expense is disappointing and frustrating. Please contact me via email or phone and let me know this has been credited back to my account at your earliest convenience . I didn't even use the 30 miles i originally requested I only used around 13 miles and only used the truck for about 6 hours.

The gentleman didn't know how to use the computer. He tried to get us to move our reservation for a car trailer, then apparently made at least 2 other local reservations for trailers in our name as we received multiple phone calls from other locations asking if we were going to pick up our reservation for a trailer from locations we had neither spoken to nor made online reservations for. Tried to charge us for insurance we refused multiple times, and it took over an hour to pick up a truck and trailer that we had reserved online, and done the online check-in for.

So....I reserved a 26 footer and they gave it to someone else. In turn I had to make 3 trips and had to keep it longer than 24 hours. I was told I wasn't going to get charged for the extra days or mileage, but when I returned the truck I was in fact charged for it. The engine had a horrible whistle which probably had a lot to do with the gas mileage.......NOT AT ALL HAPPY!

Rented a truck for two days and was charged $219 for it. Drove 100 miles and rented a pickup. I was charged for 2 cleaning services and another ridiculous fuel charge.

Did not seem to be prepared for my arrival. Had to switch trucks because they couldn't find the keys to the one to me. Then, they did not add the dollys that I had requested online and paid additional for. I told them just to refund me the money I spent for the dollys.
