Staff was pleasant and truck was clean, tank was about a third full. Was sent an email updating my reservation to a 10' van instead of a 10' truck and arrived to find a 10' truck instead of a 10' van. When I asked, was informed that the truck WAS a van. Drove well and thankfully my experience at a vending company made the drive easy. Genuinely no complaint about staff, but U-Haul should definitely arrange to pave their parking area around the building. It's a tiny lot with a 3" wide, deep gap across the entire width of the lot, that you can feel when you drive out. There's ZERO excuse to force them to deal with sub-U-Haul-standard conditions.

We came to drop off our truck after hours. The guard dogs barking at us were unexpected and scary while we had to go through the process of photographing the truck on site, which you can’t do before dropping. Nice neighborhood though. Would have been fine without the dogs on site. I never met the personnel as we dropped off the truck after hours.

John KWe had problems picking up the vehicle because my license had a different address than what was used to reserve the Uhaul. They didn't know how to correct this, which delayed picking it up considerably. Also, when turning in the truck, the estimated miles were less than the actual mileage, and it took about 40 mins to go through this process. None of this was reviewed prior to renting nor clearly explained after turning it in. They also didn't review the gas tank level with me , which was at 1/4 tank, so I tried to bring it back with roughly that same amount. The shop was polite and professional. It could be inexperience with the Uhaul and/or language barriers that contributed to the process taking so long. I will try to rent from an actual UHaul location next time in hopes of more familiarity with the service.
