The person that help me was rude and could not get my card to work for payment. The truck I used made.loud noises and vibrated when I drove it, when I returned the truck they was not opened even though the signed said they was open and i returned it before they closed.TERESA MARIE H.

We had trouble with the 24/7 app freezing and spotty cell service and the gentleman working at the location wouldn't help us at all. He told us it was our fault for using the online check-in and that he was too busy. We were the only customers there. He suggested we go watch a video tutorial on how to use the app. Finally, after almost an hour of struggling we were able to get the truck without his assistance. I have underlying health issues so I wear a mask in public places, which upset him. He told me, â€œWe don't wear those here.â€ This was probably one of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had. I'll warn everyone I know to avoid this location. For the drop off they did well, all I had to do was give them the keys. The parking lot is a bit small and parking is not clearly marked. Overall though, the service I received was good and I would recommend this location.Joshua Q.

This location had the unmitigated gall to charge me for additional fuel without even notifying me of doing such. I added fuel back to the exact same level it was as when I picked the truck up; 5/8 tank. I have a time-stamped receipt that validates my concession and will be disputing the additional charge.Matt K.

I had a very bad experience this time around. Starting with my pickup time being changed and therefore not having access to the size truck I wanted. Hold time during calls was excessive, please hire more people. I feel I was nickel and dimed with this rental. I will look elsewhere next time I need a truckElba S.

Seemed like a burden that we were coming in to pick up a trailer while she was there talking with a friend. Couldn't lift the trailer onto the hitch but wouldn't ask for assistance with it. Two tires were flat by the time we got it to the Cheyenne location and we had to call for roadside assistance. Not a great experience from the start, rude and unwelcoming.Kaitlin S.

Monday we went online and reserved a trailer in LARAMIE. Thursday morning as we were leaving for our 800-mile drive, you called to tell me the trailer will be in CHEYENNE. You should not make promises you can't deliver and me to adjust at the last minute. Cheyenne is an hour away from Laramie over an 8600' mountain pass. We made arrangements on Monday to pick up on Saturday, and you threw us a curve at the last minute. Bad practice.Mary T.

Lady inside did not really care about anything. No one there to disconnect had to do it myself and push the trailer out of the way. U-Haul themselves suck for tire cost reimbursement and gives you the run around. The crappy rental place was better than U-Haul customer service. Got hung up on several times and no one uploaded the information I sent over. Just horrible. It's been a month now and still have not got my money back.Billy R.

The truck we were given, the battery was dead. The lady had to jump the truck for us to leave the lot. I asked her about getting the truck to where we were loading and she said the battery should get enough juice in it by then and we should be fine. We ended up having to jumpstart the truck 3 different times in order to use it. We also did not break the seal on the blankets we ordered but when asked for a refund on these it's like she didn't know what to do. No refund or anything on the faulty truck either. This place lacks serious customer service and needless to say we will never ever be using them again.Cara A.

The female employee was pretty good, the male employee was not. They might want to explain that you pay insurance everyday that you have the truck, that apparently, it's not a one time fee. The guy was rude about that. I would not have purchased the insurance if I had been told it was charged everyday.BETH T.

In March 2019 I moved to Cheyenne, and by the time I dropped off the truck and trailer at Good Guys, I was LATE, like maybe 2 weeks late. It had been a while since I'd moved, right? So my estimates were a little off. Anyway, I don't know if it was the folks at Good Guys proper, or if it was the folks they were talking to on the phone (maybe to some regional U-Haul rep), but whoever it was, they wiped clean about 95% of my late fees! I was pretty happy about that, and, as a result, I gave the Good Guys folks a 5-star review. That's the preface. In June 2019, a few months later, I was checking prices for a rental van that I was going to need for about 4 days, because I was going to go camping with a bunch of friends, and I was going to be bringing a lot of equipment, and so, determining that U-Haul had the best prices I could find for the long weekend in question, I decided to call up my buddies at Good Guys! No problem! There were absolutely no problems with the van. I'd put a lot of miles on it, it was clean and well-maintained: zero issues. After I returned back home from my trip, I decided to make good use of the van while I had it, and I took about 15 full bags of months-old lawn clippings (y'know: soupy, decomposing grass) to the transfer station before I dropped the van back off. Once I was done with that â€” again, zero issues â€” I recalled the favor which the rep from Good Guys had asked of me before I returned the van, which was that I sweep it out, to make sure there was no debris left in the back of the van. Still grateful to Good Guys for the many late-fee dollars saved previously, I swept out the back of the cargo van with a good stiff broom. With respect to the decomposing vegetable matter which had just spilled out onto the floor of the back of the van, it didn't "sweep out" very well. In fact, it was kind of "ground in" to the little grooves which exist in those rubber/vinyl mats they put in the back of cargo vans. It stunk. A lot. It stunk like grass which had been rained on for 3 months while being confined to a partially open trash bag. This wouldn't do. I couldn't drop off the van in this condition, especially when my buddies from Good Guys had asked me to bring it back clean. So I took it to a car wash, and I washed out the van. No big deal, right? After all, the insides of those cargo vans are DESIGNED to be washed out. So when I finally returned the rental cargo van back to Good Guys, it was tip-top, in pristine condition. As my "buddy" climbed in to the driver's seat to check the miles and gas level, he asked me, "What the hell happened?", or maybe it was, "Why the hell is it all wet in here?" Also, he MAY not have ACTUALLY said the word "hell", but it was definitely there in his TONE. The thing is, I thought they'd be pleased, so I was pretty bummed that they were upset that I essentially did what they asked of me. He explained that NOW he was going to have to take out the rubber/vinyl mat thingies to make sJames L.
