The person working there (it is also a convenience store) didn't have any idea about how to process the drop off. He wanted us to just give him the keys and says someone would call us if the needed anything else. I found the drop off instructions in my uhaul account after some searching and was able to do or return myself like it was an out of hours return, but staff at drop off locations should at least have a written job aid to follow for this kind of thing.Michael H.
We arrived and received the key to a different truck. It took twenty minutes to find the correct key. The appliance dolly and blankets we ordered were missing from the truck and they don't keep them there. Not sure if that was on them or whoever delivered the truck to this location, but nonetheless, we didn't receive them. Checkout was better.Edward C.
Complete the online check-in before you pick up the trailer and plan on at least 10-15 minutes to get checked in once you get to the gas station. Have a padlock to lock the back trailer door as you are traveling to secure your items. Trailers worked excellent for us, our first time using U-Haul rental, and would use them again. Was told I could pay when I got there. They would not take payment, and had to call in to pay. Also, they did not do walk-around the truck with me..just gave me the keysGary W.
I would recommend at least wiping down surfaces in the truck with disinfectant between customers with COVID-19 going around. I found the inside to be pretty dirty. The windows were also pretty dirty. The blankets in the back were thrown in unfolded. I would also recommend the truck be full of gas. When we got the truck it only had a quarter of a tank of gas. I did try to call when we were using the truck and incurred some damage on the highway and had waited a very long time to speak with a customer service rep and never did get to speak to anyone until drop off because it took so long.Lora R.
Moving blankets that we ordered and paid for were not provided. They referred me to the U-Haul Area Manager who I called and left a message for, but he did not return my phone call.Matt K.
