The place was hard to find and greasy. The truck had a huge gash in the side and smelled bad. The attendant didn't even have a shirt on and refused to provide a receipt. I am still in the dark as to what they charged me.Michael M.

A more professional looking operation would definitely improve the business, but overall I was very pleased with the Rental van. It was fairly new but only had a touch over a 1/4 tank of gas in it which left it with more fuel than I picked it up with. Because it's run out of the bottom if a house near a bridge under. Instruction, my gos could not find it three times until I called UHAUL and spoke with someone who told me to take a right turn and it was down the road on the left side of the road. Not a usual UHAUL a person would expect it has a tiny office but the owner was professional.Joseph A.

The truck I picked up reeked of cigarettes and gave me a headache whole I packed and while I drove. The guys were nice at this location. The truck was totally banged up with part of the wheel well sticking out at least 6 inches, very dangerous.rebekah L.

Terrible looked like a run down house ,in a field when I arrived there was a man eating on the porch and advised me that he sometimes helps the owner operator and that he wasnt around , when i asked for some paperwork to show it had been returned he said he would tell the owner that i brought it and wouldn't interact in conversation unless provoked I was told to park it with the rest of the trailers with no help from him he just continued to sit and eat without looking up I had to disconnect the trailer from the truck totally the opposite from the pick up locationVince F.

The sign said they open at 9am, which is when I got there. No one was there so I left a note with my info and the trailer assuming I would get a call confirming that they received the trailer. This place made me buy a dolly since he didn't have the two I ordered. It really put me in a bad situation. Additionally, the engine light was on which required a maintenance visit to my place which delayed my packing. He knew the light was on and did nothing to protect the next customer which was me. This is the 2nd time I've dropped off at this location in the past 3 months and both times there was no one there to help except a voice on an intercom who was no help at all other than to say that no one was there right now who could help. Fortunately I was able to do the drop off with the online feature. At least 2 other people were there trying to get some help and left frustrated as well.Jim W.

Location is very hard to find as construction has closed the road to get to it. GPS didn't know how to get there and we drove through a large shopping center and luckily found it. U-haul overall was the worst rental experience I've ever encountered. The customer service was abysmal. It took 5 phone calls with multiple transfers to finally get a truck. I was given different (incorrect) information by several agents. It was supposed to be a 24/7 app that was useless. My reservation never showed up and when I created the account it kept indicating I didn't have a reservation. Finally a representative linked it but said I had to be at the place to hit the â€œpick up buttonâ€. When I got to the location at 8am the app didn't work and I had to call customer service again. When it finally went through, I got a message that me rental will be ready at 9am when the store opened. Had to wait for an hour for the store to open. This made us late for all of our pickups.Brett G.

Manager closed early and not responsive on a Saturday. I wanted to drop off auto transport early. There was no one there to assist me. I found the groundskeeper who assisted me. I wasn't strong enough to remove it from truck. Then a U-Move guy started yelling at him and said not to help me. Then the guy changed his mind and said I'd need to pay $25 in cash. He was a real ass. I did pay $25 to the groundskeeper and hope he got to keep it. This location is a horrible and reflects poorly on uHauls reputation. The equipment is shoddy and after going to locations for air for tires, a major blowout on the interstate, I'm thinking twice before renting from uHaul.Teresa C.

Check in on line was impossible as I had already dropped the keys in the drop box. Took nonsensical pictures to get through the return software. It needs to be explained or clearly indicated NOT to drop off the keys until you complete check in on line. Also got there just before closing but attendant was gone. I told him I needed 4 hours. The site was not aesthetically pleasing, but it was organized as well as could be expected under the circumstances. The staff were helpful with guiding me when backing the trailer into place. I informed them of the trailers shortcomings and it was a no-hassle drop-off. Easy-peasey!Phillip P.
I scheduled a truck share reservation, which allowed me to pick up the truck an hour early- 8:00 a.m.? Location was not prepared for the reservation and made me wait until 9:00 a.m. for opening of the office? In any event, this was supposed to be a contactless transaction, which did not happen and caused a delay (cost) of my schedule! To top it all off, after complaining to the customer service department a regional manager was supposed to contact me, no call or email? By the way, the van had a tire pressure sensor illuminated during the the whole time of the rental. Initially when this was told to the office prior to rental, they told me to ignore it? This facility is one of the best, if not the best U-Haul equipment rental. The selection makes me always go here, even though it may not be the closest U-Haul rental.Marshall S.
Have an attendant available at time of return. Actually record the REAL date vehicle was returned. Waited over 15 minutes in the Florida sun with no access to the locked air conditioned office as the attendendant was not to be located. Left the keys in the key drop box provided. Returned the vehicle a day early got billed for returning a day LATE. Spent 30 minutes plus on uhaul customer service line before they would issue a credit. Not even an apology. We have rented a number of UHAUL trucks and have had no issues. After this seemingly unsavory/ questionable experience in no way will we ever return a vehicle to 39900 County Rd 25 Lady Lake FLTrent B.
