Absolutely the worst check in/check out experience I've ever had with any rental company. This was the second time I have been displaced by Uhaul to a location not of my choosing. The first was not as inconvenient so I let it slide BUT THIS TIME was utterly ridiculous. I was sent halfway across town to a poor location (literally a shoddy convenience store). It was pouring rain outside and they had the truck parked behind their sketchy location, literally against a tree and surrounded by puddles. To make matters worse, there was zero cell service or wifi so I was unable to complete the walk around to show any damage beforehand so I took a video to protect myself. The girl sat check in knew nothing about how to complete the process ands spent 45 minutes on the phone being told what to do to get me a truck. At check in, the gentleman expected me to just hand him the keys and await my receipt by email. I refused to leave without him properly checking the vehicle due to the conditions of my check out and wanting to ensure I was not charged for damages.

Robert TThe truck, mechanically speaking was very nice. It was covered in fallen leaves and sticks, dirty, and had 1/4 tank of gas when I picked it up. There was another customer's keys left in the cab that I turned in.
DAVID BI returned the vehicle with the same amount of fuel as when I picked it up, but was charged for 2 gal. of gas. The same thing happened a month ago at a different U-Haul location
Joseph LThis neighborhood was sketchy and did not feel safe with people a half block away loitering around and yelling at each other and passing vehicles. The lot where the U-Hauls were parked across the street from the posted address (a convenience store) had litter on it, including an old toothbrush where I stepped out of the truck, and weeds. There was not a clear drop box for U-Haul keys and I had to leave key inside with the convenience store clerk. Would not recommend this location.
LANCE MEquipment was not cleaned. Truck, including the cab, smelled like smoke. Employee was rude and unhelpful. He kept serving other customers while processing our paperwork. He gave us the key without telling us which truck and told us to just try all of them.

JOHN RUnprofessional and this does not need to be at the food mart. He doesn’t help with resolving issues nor do they act as if they have to resources to help. Lack of knowledge about the u-haul process. This was a living nightmare.
