Overall, the location was good. The truck was easy to access and in good condition. Only complaint is that I ordered furniture pads and a furniture dolly, however, they were not in the truck. Since I was picking up the truck via the mobile check in and the location was not open for another few hours, I was not able to get those items. That being said, it was resolved at a later time and those items were refunded.Samuel P.

If they are renting a tow dolly, they need to have somebody there to help hook it up. Was told one price, had to pay more. When I returned it I had to disconnect it myself. The hours of operation do not coincide with the sign out front.RICHARD S.

I reserved a 10 ft truck for 12/31. Picked up at 10:39 am and dropped off between 530 pm and 6 pm the same day. I was charged 2 for extra days and my account showed as if I had returned the truck on 1/2 @ 10:08 pm. Very unsatisfied and this is fraudulent on the part of the business I picked up and dropped off the truck at. In know way was I notified that in order to make sure that I would not be charged for extra day I would need to return the truck before closing since they would be closed the next day. If this is not resolved I will be contacting my bank to report this fraudulent charge and file a complaint with bbb.Elvira A.

My comment pertains to the mobile app - I rent at least 4 trucks a month nationwide. I make a reservation on the app and then get a call that â€œthat store can't do mobile pickup or truck isn't availableâ€ On this rental I wanted the truck at 8am to go make a delivery, get a phone call that I have to wait until the store opens at 9:30am to get the truck and it's the closest truck to me so is what it is. I show up and tell him I have a reservation - dude looks at me funny and says â€œ your suppose to do mobile pickup?!?â€ But he is nice and helps me Time for the keys â€œ well with mobile pickup we leave them outside for customers in a lock boxâ€ You mean to tell me I could have made an online delivery!!! I thanked him for being set up for mobile pickups but pray U-Haul gets info straight soonSean O.

The moving truck was not cleaned and the vehicle was very rough to drive. i drove 10 hours with the truck shaking the whole drip as if i was on a bumpy dirt road the whole way. The local agent was terrific, but they had to overcome a completely incompetent and horrible UHaul national system. My reservation was for a round-trip from Monterey to El Dorado Hills for about $104. However when the local agent called it up it only had 1 day and 30 mils, so the total estimate for over $400. I tried to call customer service, but after waiting 10-15 minutes several times was disconnected. Luckily, the local agents were able to contact corporate and work with them to adjust the quote to what it should have been. With the extreme efforts of Green Cellular the rental would not have worked.STEPHEN K.

I had a very bad experience dropping off the uhaul truck , when I got there gentleman couldn't find my contract and was trying to charge me $781 for the uhaul. I called customer service was the reason is I return to same location provided me with a new drop off location.7 miles when I got there he was charging me $163 for additional miles , I advised him that I was given 436 Free miles with my rental truck so I had to call back to customer service then was advised I was only given 168 miles Free and I had to pay $.40 cents a mile for the other 268 miles that were given to me with my rental. I got so tired of the run around that I just paid it. Hopefully I can get this problem fixed Monday I was there for over 1 and a half hours with this problem. I advised the customer service representative that I was advised 3 different times that I had 436 free miles and now they're changing it on me.Raiderjoe G.

When I got to my return location to get the car towing trailer unhooked they said it had not been properly hooked up. The chains were dragging and one of the ways in which my car was supposed to be attached was not attached. Luckily another way of attaching it was done properly so I had no troubles, but that was unsettling to find out.Tayler Q.

Did not accept my mastercard or money! Thank goodness my son sent pic of his Visacard or we would not have had a truck to move. Now, ask me about the customer service I got from UHaul! It was horrid! A CSR refused to give me her name! I was sent to 4 different locations. Got a call at 6:30AM to see if I decided where to drop off? I hadn't even loaded the truck or left yet!Cheryl H.
Worst experience yet. They forced me to take a truck w the wrong fuel level marked. After a hr piddling w the locations customer service and call center customer service was told â€œa noteâ€ was made on my account and to not worry just take the truck and all will be fine just bring back w actual fuel instead of what is marked. This is something the customer should not have to worry about, it was an internal problem that I had to call around to get resulted. Still not resolved as I was charged fees since they had the incorrect fuel marked. This is the email I was told to â€œjust show the return locationâ€ and I will have no overcharges for fuel Michael Dejaynes on contract 97094436 dispatched with 3/4 of a tank of gas not at 7/8 as displayed on contract dealer location refused to correct the fuel level and told them to just call customer service per customers request I am sending this email so Michael can show the return location this email as well as be advised of cautionary note on the contract stating the fuel level was never adjusted before dispatch. please do not charge this customer for any missing gas.
