My experience with the U-Haul location itself was extremely disappointing. The service I received was poor from start to finish. The rental vehicle was dirty and in unacceptable condition. Additionally, the location I was directed to was not the same address that was provided to me, which created unnecessary confusion and inconvenience. To make matters worse, the representative who checked me into the vehicle charged me for fuel and mileage that I did not use. I feel that I was unfairly charged and taken advantage of as a customer. The location appeared unprofessional and did not reflect the standards I would expect from a company like U-Haul. It looked more like an independent operation than an authorized U-Haul facility. I find it concerning that U-Haul continues to partner with businesses that provide this level of service. Because of this experience, I am seriously reconsidering whether I will ever use U-Haul again. As a longtime customer, I left feeling frustrated, disappointed, and misled.
