I paid for 2 dolly's and 2 dozen blankets and none of them were there. Passenger seat belt didn't work which is not safe. Drink holder was broke. The employee that was there was not helpful and was rude.

KESHIA BI had a thoroughly disappointing experience at this U-Haul location, both during pickup and drop-off. The attendant lacked basic customer service skills and made the interaction unpleasant. Furthermore, he smoked inside the office, creating a thick, overwhelming cloud of cigarette smoke that posed health concerns for me. Additionally, an unleashed dog roamed the office, freely interacting with customers, which I found unprofessional and unsanitary. Due to these issues, I will not be returning to this location again.
SODIQ WEquipment was clean enough but not detailed, depends on whose standards. Had crumbs in the tray under radio and had a scraps in the back when I picked it up. I cleaned that out before returning the truck. Tires looked worn. I reserved a hand truck and did not get one at pick up, thought it was in the back but found none once I was ready to load the next day. It somehow dropped off the reservation list or was just omitted at pick up, not sure. Truck did not come with a lock, I had to buy one.

JAMES S1) I paid for a dolly, did not get one. 2) the truck was not clean prior to our use, there was a lot of dirt and wood (2 by 4) chunks all over the back of the truck. 3) the ramp to the truck was broken prior to our use and my husband had to crawl completely under the truck to put it back in place for travel. 4) the gentleman in the office was quite rude. We were the first customers of the day (8:30am) and came in cheerful to be greeted by a grouch with an attitude.

SCOTT SRude owner. I’ve rented multiple times from this place. Always rude for no reason. I walk in having a GREAT day and somehow I leave having a bad day. There’s always something inside the trailer I’m renting not even pertaining to the trailer. This time it was lawnmower blades. Last time it was 30+ moving blankets. I’ll go across town to rent than rent from this place!!!
JOSHUA LTruck was boxed in when I arrived, inside was soaked with water. The one worker was rude, yelling at people to close the door because he had a dog loose in the lobby. Parking was no on site for vehicles left during truck use.

DONALD RChris, who worked at the front desk, was unpleasant to work with. His tone was immediately condescending when I entered the retail shop. He appeared to be bothered immediately when I told him I would be leaving my personal vehicle on site while I rented the van. He barked orders at me to "park in front of the skid loader". He was also unhelpful and asked me to complete the entire check-in process online. When I rented a 15-foot truck from the UHaul rental location at 2622 US 31 S, Greenwood, IN 46143 the week earlier, the young lady at the desk did the check-in process for me. However, Chris could not be bothered otherwise and said that my only option was to do the entire check-in process online myself. The retail shop and the van I rented all had a incredibly unpleasant odor, which was a combination of cigarette smoke and pet odor. In addition, Chris's physical appearance was also unpleasant. He was very unkempt, and had an untidy and disheveled appearance. He also had a very small dog in the shop with him, which he picked up and allowed the dog to lick the side of his face in front of me. Chris was the epitome of poor customer service. He has been the worst customer service representative I have encountered in many years! I have already told several friends, co-workers, and family members how rude and unpleasant Chris is at the UHAUL rental location specifically at 1694 E. Main Street in Greenwood. I will continue to tell as many people to avoid Chris and that UHAUL rental location. I believe Chris should be immediately terminated for his rude demeaner, a complete lack of customer service skills, and a complete lack of proper hygiene for both him and his dog.
CHRISTOPHER MWhen we returned the truck the lot was really full. I tried doing the info on the text they sent me to do to return the truck. Evidently I did not do it correctly and they charged my 20.00. The truck was there that night and before they got there in the morning. My husband left in phone in the truck. We could not get anyone to answer the phone. I went there in the morning and was able to get the phone. We left a note in the box. The truck was at half full when we got it. I guess we should of took a picture. We thought we put extra but was charged 7 gallons of fuel. It is easier to fill it up.

ARTHUR TWorst location Rep I have dealt with at UHaul. Abrupt, angry, and militant personality. Won't leave the comfort of his very dirty sales office for anything on the front end or back end of the rental. More concerned about his puppy dog which runs free in the showroom than customers. Doesn't maintain posted office hours (showed up 45 min before posted closing time the day before and he was closed). Would not go with me to close out rental at return to verify mileage, condition, and gas level.

I did not understand that my trailer had to be dropped off at that exact location, that was not clearly displayed or communicated anywhere, and it cost me 3x the cost of the original rental. The place smelled bad, the guy had an ashtray and smoked inside, and his dog was in there. The aggressive unpleasant attitude the guy came at me with made it a chore, and in retrospect I'm angry at him for his attitude and lack of critical information, and mad at myself for not asserting myself and arguing it out of the crotchety old man. I'll never use haul again. 200$ in fees for an 89$ rental because I dropped the trailer off at a location 30 minutes away is highway robbery.
Joseph CFix the brakes and the vehicles shocks. It was an awful ride bouncing up and down non stop. When calling to report it nothing could be done except have roadside assistance come look at the vehicle. As if I want to have the move delayed.

Felix PWe started out with a 1/4 tank of gas and we refueled to that and when we returned the truck we were charged a $30 fee and $14. For two more gallons of gas. Then I was charged for furniture pads 5@ $5. a piece that I never ordered and were not in the truck. I also ordered two furniture dollies and was never told they didn’t have them. I will never use U-haul again unless these charges are taken off

HARIOM SOffice is filthy & a grey pall of smoke hanging in the air. The man behind the counter was rude and snide from the first sentence to the last. The trailer had to be cleaned out due to the disposable styrofoam food containers littering the inside. The only enjoyable thing about the experience was the sweet little dog curled up in the corner.

Chasity LLocation is great but I declined safe trip coverage on my online reservation but was charged anyway. I hate using your online reservations. EVERY time I’ve used it, there were errors of some kind. This is unacceptable & has nothing to do with the locations.
