There was a Young man who apparently has a hot temper. The girl that was taking care of us had everything under control. The young man asked her what she was doing with a jack, he grabbed the jack & threw it aside, pushed our rep aside, picked up a concrete block to loosen the hitch to the trailer we were renting. He didn't warn anyone about what he was doing. Pieces of concrete went flying and fortunately no one got hurt. I was frightened by his actions.

Seemed a bit unorganized. Getting a accurate estimate seemed impossible and there were lots of hidden fees. Once the ball got rolling it worked out well

The pick up truck that I rented was disgusting. It smelled horribly in the cab and there was trash and boxes in the bed of the truck. The gas gauge on my paperwork was nowhere near what the actual gas was at when I got in the vehicle. I took pictures of all of this and submitted it through the check in text I received and even still woke up the next day to a $25 cleaning fee. To his credit, when I called the individual at this location, he did say he would reverse the fee pretty quickly without much convincing, but now, almost a week later all I have on my bank statement is one charge for $52(the correct amount) and one for $77(which included the cleaning fee and original charge) and still nothing credited back into my account. So to this point I had a pretty bad overall experience and I've been more than double charged for the service. I'll never use U-Haul again.

No nonsense, friendly staff and and helpful with the equipment...we used the auto transport trailer- they made surecwexhadcit hooked up right and off we went. Trailer itself worked great and hauled with no issues. Great experience, start to finish!

The location had a lady who I did my pick-up with on Friday. She was very kind and thorough. I had originally rented for two days. I got finished within one day so I returned it early on Saturday. After waiting over 20 minutes, a different lady came and helped me. After telling all the negative things about the lady from the previous day to multiple people, she took my keys and said she would adjust my charges. I was charged for 25 miles which I had travelled, but I was charged $38 for a fuel charge. I stopped less than one mile from the location and put $32 worth of fuel into the unit prior to returning. I returned the unit with 5/8 full tank as required per the paperwork I was given. When I called to inquire, the lady told me that their system is not able to track the fuel levels and that the previous lady should have highlighted the full level on my paperwork. I explained that I have my copy showing 5/8 and the unit was returned with that amount, and that's after I put $32 into the tank. She laughed and told me that she couldn't remove the charge and sorry for any confusion. This is terrible customer service and even worse business ethics.

I had a bad experience at this location before, but really enjoyed my last experience with Chelsea. It was raining so she switched our rental to a box truck, without any issues

During my visit to the U-Haul dealer named Greenwood South And Uhaul dealer, the owner was insulting and treating like a trash his employee . The employee (She) was always well behaved and trying to continue servicing because there was other clients. As my knowledge, must of the employee left the store due to his actitud.

I am disappointed in how the last person who checked in the truck that I was using lied about how much gas was in the car causing the location to over charge me $152 for gas in the truck when I showed proof of when I picked the truck up I was told you still need to be charged anyway.

Guy was very rude. He had me pull in and give him the keys so i did not return the truck myself he checked me in an hour later than my check in time so i was overcharged an extra day when i was there on time! Called and let him know & he said that he wasnt about to go back & fourth & i never received my refund bc when i contacted customer service they said the store i dropped off at had to approve it. Of course he did not. I will never rent from them. Very rude workers.

I rented a truck for $19.95 a day and $.59 a mile reserved it. My son picked up the truck at 2:05pm on November 1st. The truck was returned at 4:24pm the same day! The truck was driven 25 miles one way to auction to pick up 2 items and 26 miles back to the Uhaul location for a total of 51 miles!! I received my receipt from the rental and this location said that it was driven 209.10 miles, this is not true!!! I was charged a ridiculous $167.21 for a 2 1/2 truck rental and 51 miles!!! I have been trying to get a hold of this location at the number provided for 9 days and it goes to a voicemail every time and I have not got a return call. I really liked this location and the manager Wayne. I have spent $1,000 of dollars using this location for rental and bounce house rentals. After this crazy overcharged and the fact that no one from this location or Uhaul corporation will not call me back. I am done!! Don't ever use this company!!!

Reserved at 15' 6 days before a big move. Didn't notify me. Lied saying they tried to call after telling me they forgot. Then gave me attitude because I brought a smaller truck they gave me back late. This place was extremely unprofessional and unfriendly. Never again.

The Greenwood South location that I rented from is absolutely terrible. DO NOT rent from this location. Due to mechanical issues, I had two separate trucks. Both were in very bad condition. The first truck I got broke down a few blocks from the facility smelling of burnt transmission. Fortunately the truck re-started and I was able to return it to the facility. The second truck that I got had a back door that would barely close, a key that had to be manipulated just right to turn in the ignition, worn out suspension which caused the truck to lean and made it really scary to drive (a very dangerous situation when loading so much weight so far from the ground). This is a dealer location and not a corporate location. This dealer does not properly maintain their vehicles. As if that were not enough, the person who seemed to be the manager or head person at the location was rude. Due to mechanical issues (engine related) the second truck broke down on me and left me stranded. Fortunately, I had already unloaded all of my stuff and was just heading back for a second load. After waiting on hold for twenty minutes or so, I spent about an hour and a half dealing with roadside assistance. The guy on the phone was friendly and worked hard to get the issue resolved. The only things I would say could have been improved with that situation were shorter hold times. I'm still dealing with U-Haul for final resolution regarding all of that. Then to add insult to injury, this dealer charged me for an additional rental day the day after the vehicle was towed away. I guess he hadn't been informed that the vehicle broke down or something, but there was no attempt to contact me prior to charging to see what was going on. This was a terrible rental situation and significantly damaged my opinion of U-Haul and their ability to be a reliable service provider for future moving needs. I've rented from Penske in the past and never had any issues. Their equipment was 1000% better and they were great to deal with. I recommend considering alternative providers.

The initial rental process was easy. Once we got to rental location, things got bad quickly. Employee was rude and short. Talked bad about fellow employees and almost felt like I was inconveniencing him. “Shop” was filthy and reeked of smoke. Overcharged us a day, and then acted like refunding us was only because we were “angry”, not because it was wrong. Would recommend to avoid this rental location.

Whoever the guy running the store was extremely rude to me and you could ask my buddy who came with me his tone was rude and he wouldn't stop trying to rush me this was my first time ever renting a Uhaul and I probably never will again if I ever have to associate with someone like that again

It took a while to actually pick up the truck because the gentleman helping us was there alone and seemed to be absolutely swamped at the time. He was nice, perhaps a little too talkative, but in general it just really seemed like there needed to be a second person there to either field the calls he was getting or help customers. Also, the next morning there was a flat tire on the truck which was a bit perplexing.

I called this location two different times to ask questions about my online reservation. I just wanted more info because I'd never rented a uhaul before. Both times, the person who answered gave really short responses and was not friendly at all. In fact, the way he answered me made me feel stupid for asking the questions. He responded matter-of-factly, like I should already know this information. My friends picked up the truck without me, and their customer service experience was similar. Also, someone should probably go check out this location because I wasn't there, but it sounds like it's pretty chaotic.

Fix the issue with your rates. I rented a 14' truck overnight (picked it up at 5pm and turned it in by 10 am next day), one-way, less than 100 miles, and it cost me $187.00 That's outrageous! That cost did not include the gas I had to put back in the tank.

Truck I picked up was not the cleanest I have rented although it may have been a quick turn around. It smelled like stale cigarettes and there was a used mask left on the floor board of the cab and the cup holders were dirty. Although, I have used this location several times and have never had any issues.

I was charged $14 to my credit card for “safe driving coverage “ I declined all insurance when asked because I pay for my own and it covers me already . I shouldn't have been charged this extra fee
