Location is cramped, horrible entrance/exit and not enough parking available. Staff was friendly, but actual truck was trash. Avg on clean but mechanically trash .

Make sure all rentals are clean before the next rental. There was dog poop on the step up to get into the U-Haul. The guy working was busy helping someone else, so I took it upon myself to get some napkins and spray to clean it. The very nice man did offer to put me in another rental, but I declined due to the fact that I had already switched rentals because the first one was blocked in.

Reserved it 4 days prior to needing it. Had to wait 40 min to pick it up at the location. Guy got short with me for being late. Also ordeee 12 blankets he only had six blankets but failed to load them or give them to me. Was supposed to drop the trailer off Im South Bend. I told him that but he set it for Laporte but told me to just drop it off where I had originally asked for but when so pulled it up on the app it told me an hour out of my way to South Bend. Guy in Greenwood let everyone know he had been doing this for 30 years. He knows all except how to do his job. Won’t ever go back.

I’ve rented from this location numerous times and I’ve never had a problem. John is a refreshing person to deal with because he is straightforward and doesn’t take any BS which is what I like but I highly recommend this location and it is a joy to work with him. Thank you.

Not a criticism of this location per se but I attempted to utilize mobile check-in and the app was unable to process my check-in, which cost me 3-4 prime hours in the morning when I had a moving crew scheduled which really set me back. This location needs more signage for returns...even if I was able to complete mobile check-in, I would have been unable to pull the truck out as so much dropped off equipment was scattered around.

The older gentleman has no business being employeed. Horrible, horrible attitude only complaining loudly about how the business should be closed on Saturdays because it was just too busy. I was there just to pick up the key because my resevation was handled on line. The gentleman was complaining about many of the trucks missing keys. Id say some organization was called for. The office area was dirty and cluttered. There were 3 customers there waiting to be helped. All were in shock about how this man conducted himself. I have used this uhaul dealer once before, but never again. Please get rid of this guy! Btw, the younger fellow who finally got my key for me was very calm and helpful.

Staff was rude. No greetings, no friendliness. Just rude. Did not get the moving blankets that I requested, told them that, was told it would be removed from the bill and was still charged for them. Truck was terrible as well. So much play in the steering wheel that I couldn't hardly keep it in the lane on the highway. I drive large vehicles frequently and am well accustomed to how they handle. Engine sounded horrible. Couldn't even have a conversation because of how loud everything was. Definitely have had better Uhaul experiences.

Biggest problem was the gas tank was not full when I took possession of the truck. You couldn't tell because the gauge showed F, but I only drove 12 miles total and it took 5.5 gallons to fill it . The management acknowledged that happens a lot- gas gauge says F even though previous user didn't fill the tank completely. No refund offered.

Maybe clean the rentals a little better before they go out, especially the windshield. It was not only dirty on the outside, but also on the inside. Other than that it was clean and new.

The truck was in horrible mechanical condition. Brake system, ABS, and traction control dash lights continuously warning of brake system issue. The speedometer was 12 miles per hour off, showing a slower speed than actual. The cab leaked on the passenger side when it rained, and the tires were so out of balance it would shake violently.

The man that rented us, the U-Haul did not tell us what to do in case of an emergency or anything else. We only knew because we listened to what he told the woman in front of us. We ended up getting into an accident and when I called him, he told me a 45-year-old woman that two young ladies should not be driving a U-Haul. Then argued with me and told me that I did not report it when I did it and was overall very rude with no regard to me and my children’s well-being.

Truck was dirty, owner was rude, and the truck had 450 miles on it when I picked it up not 390 miles so I don't owe anything else.

I've already explained this in my previous comments. I rented the truck in Florida and drove it to Indiana. The truck was returned with more gas than required, with the rental equipment, clean and more than a day early. I was told no refund would be given. I rented the truck online and tried to give myself plenty of time to make sure the truck would be returned by the due date. Online, I did not read anything about no refunds for an early return. Perhaps it is there and I didn't see it. Had I known this, I would have estimated the time I needed the truck differently. Customers definitely need to know this before they rent so it should be prominently posted in the online rental form. This was an expensive mistake for me to make. In the future, I will first check with companies regarding their refund practices. The one good thing about my experience is that the truck seemed well maintained and drove well.
