Better experience at this location than at a different location I tried 2 years ago. Mobile pick up was easy. Rental truck was clean. No issues at all. Return process was easy. The location was spacious and clean and overall felt safe. 100% would recommend!

Guthries did an excellent job, and Becky was a pleasure to work with. However, I would recommend that the corporate office chang 2 things on the online booking screens. First the insurance screen does not give you the option to NOT purchase insurance and that is not reasonable, all of the other screens have the option to bypass or not by additional services and the insurance screen did not. Second the screen to purchase moving supplies does not tell you that the supplies are not at the same location as the trailer I rented, and you do not find out this information until you open the email after you had already paid for the boxes. Think about having to drive around town to pick up boxes on moving day... nobody needs the extra stop in an already busy day not to mention the Guthries had plenty of boxes and supplies on hand and there was no need to drive across town if they have the supplies on hand. This is constructive criticism and I hope it is good feedback.

Very pleased with office staff and everything. A door came open on my RV one day and they called me to tell me that I needed to come and take care of it. It was much appreciated.!!

Once on the road on our trip from Alabama to Canada we had to call U-Haul to send a maintenance crew to come and change out two of the tires on the auto transport trailer. Thankfully, we spotted the problem early on. The steel bands were showing through on two of the tires which could have caused a blow out and a very bad accident. The U-Haul crew responded quickly and were on site in about an hour. They quickly changed out the tires and we were sent on our way.

Guthrie's is a gr8 place for all of your storage needs. The staff is super friendly the prices are the best in town. Ty Guthrie's for my stay, if I ever have to rent storage space again, you will be by no 1 choice.

Cannot say enough good things about the staff at this location! We have had two storage units as we have been closing out an estate sale, as well as renting U-Haul equipment from here. We feel fortunate to have them around the corner!

We were confused about the fact that this facility was a Uhaul affiliate, but they were unable to implement the free month rental that was offered by Uhaul for renting their trucks and trailers during our move. We have rented 3 trucks and Trailers from July and August for our move to Alabama. We were a little disappointed, But we liked the facility.

Sarah was outstanding in the customer service department. Definitely a great asset to your company. She was friendly, knowledgeable, but most of all forward thinking. She ensured that my return would be a positive experience even though the office would be closed after my drop off. Truly appreciated.

I've been in the truck in the industry for over 30 years and I am dumbfounded at your establishment that you have a disdain for semi trucks how do you not allow a bobtail truck (no trailer) not to park at your facility but you allow dump trucks and roll-offs to park at your facility and both of those trucks weigh more than a bobtail semi? ****SEMI TRUCKS KEEP AMERICA MOVING FORWARD *****

I've been storing a lot of household items in one of Guthrie's larger units for the past 2-3 years, and we just finally finished downloading and purging items to our new home- I can NOT say enough about how wonderful Guthrie's has been the entire time. I don't think I've ever met a more friendly and helpful group of people in a business. I was going through a rough divorce when I opened up with Guthrie's and was a hit of a mess, and they could not have been kinder. I've rented several Uhauls over the past few years and they're just as great and accommodating in that service as well. I actually emptied out my unit yesterday, and there were a few bulky and somewhat heavy items left. I'm a very small 50 year old female and was prepared to manage it myself. So I couldn't believe it when Becky and one of her coworkers pulled up in the golf cart to help me load the truck (!!!!) Thats the kind of service I've gotten at Guthrie's- 10 stars, I strongly recommend 😊 Thank you for everything Guthrie's!

Has small leak on front top passenger side of trailer. Daughters night stand was soaked. Still usable, but doesn’t look to Great. Other than that it pulled good and great Customer Service

Vehicle needs service: driver’s door had to slam to shut; gear shift was stiff; AC shuts off when vehicle accelerates; ramp did not slide smoothly. I feel lucky I got to my final destination.

I performed an after-hours drop off using the U-Haul website and did not interact with any of the personnel. I wish there was an N/A option to choose. The location is easy to access, well lit, and well maintained.

Logistically I had to go to another store to get my tow dolly and that was a little inconvenient, they called the day before to tell me that. They did add free miles so it didn’t affect the allotted mileage for my long distance move thankfully. The staff at this location was phenomenal and so friendly too!

Keep it up! The ladies working on Monday 10 July 2024 for Guthries Self Storage at 8707 Hwy 72 W in Madison, AL are the best representatives I have ever had with UHAUL. They were proficient and thorough through the whole equipment rental process. I hope to work with them again in future.

We have used several different storage companies over the years in different areas . We found this Guthrie's to be above and beyond all the others, office was always clean. Staff was available cheerful and helpful. Availability excellent. And the dump station a bonus! The options were great too, covered or uncovered, plug-in, climate control. We HIGHLY RECOMMEND Guthrie's!!

We needed a short term storage facility and this was the perfect solution, from our interaction over the phone to our contract signing in the office, everyone was professional and prompt. Highly recommend this facility, clean, good lighting as I often was at the facility in the evenings.

My storage was broken into and I never received information as to who it was! They literally destroyed my storage and I truly believe it was someone who previously worked there because how else would the person get in the gate! I was originally told it was only my storage, the officer who came to do the report stated he was told it was more than 1 storage! They didn’t tailgate behind anyone to get on from what the cameras showed them! Just disappointed about that process overall 😢

The staff working here were SO great. They were so friendly, so helpful, and personable. They made the whole move-in, and move-out processes super smooth & easy. I didn't have any questions cause they were thorough. But i really liked how nice they were. I went in there in pajamas, frazzled and frustrated from moving and everything. I know i looked and acted crazy. They didnt look at me like i was crazy or treat me any differently. The place i was at before this one did, so it just made me feel good to be treated better. Thanks for all your help ladies. Yall rock. I will definitely use this facility again when i need to.

Friendly staff, great facilities, excellent rates and they really really do make the move in and move out process super easy. They’re so accommodating and if I ever need a storage facility again - it will be Guthries.
