SHARON CThe customer service was top notch. Great people who work hard and do their best to help. The location is great. It was very clean and well maintained. The problem was the truck, which is not the fault of the folks at Guthrie’s. The truck blew black smoke out of the tailpipe. Additionally, the truck seemed like a tuberculosis patient on its last leg wheezing at all but highway speed. It groaned and creaked more than any other truck I have rented. It did seem to sound and do okay when you got on the highway. I won’t rent a U-Haul truck again. You guys need to upgrade your trucks and be more vigilant about maintaining them.
Elisa AComplete disaster the whole process I received an email stating my pick and drop off was on Balch Road When I arrived at Balch I’m told the pick up and drop off has completely changed (unacceptable) Unless I get some financial consideration at least 25$ ALL of Huntsville will be informed of this business practice
Tom WThe price per mile is a little too much once factoring in the fuel cost to fill the truck back up. Could there be at least ten miles included with the rental fee?
